drop from when he was 10%. take a look at the democratic side. hillary clinton making her first appearance this morning on a sunday public affairs program in nearly four years. >> we have fox team coverage from washington. gary tinny with more on hillary's tv appearance. we'll start with kristen fisher, more with the latest polling numbers. >> almost everyone agreed that carly fiorina won the debate. now we're seeing that really translate to the polls. a new cnn poll out just this morning has donald trump still on top with 24% of the vote. but that's an eight-point drop from the same cnn poll taken bright before the debate. fiorina is up 12 points, by far the biggest increase by any candidate. she shot into second place while carson slipped to third. marco rubio is polling strong, up eight points jumping to fourth place. carly fiorina really trying to

does that give you faith that this agreement can be lived up to? 0 h it's worrisome, eric. i will say[r%m÷ this. the par chan inspections are going to be closely monitored by the iaea. they'll have either video or other kinds of direct surveillance of those who are making the collections. and let's remember that par chan is aimed at their past conduct, not what's going on in the present or the future. for the future, soil samples and other environmental samples, i think we'll see the ia directly involved. this is something i think we've got to make a distinction on, butcj they don't allow them to talk it with their scientists. we need to know what they've figure out how they'll try to cheat in the future. >> what happens in a month when everything, we think this, we don't know. we didn't talk to everybody. we couldn't do everything. what is the world do then with this agreement. ? q$%q%=9 that they are in

sad news to tell you. jackie collins has died of breast cancer. all 32 of her novels appearing on the "new york times" best selling list. she died in los angeles. jackie collins was 77 years old. moving on to politics now. a brand-new poll is out since the second republican debate. it shows the political outsiders taking a strong hold of the race. donald trump still the front-runner but losing some support since the last poll and carly fiorina making a major jump up to second after only polling at 3% earlier this month. dr. ben carson is in third. so how does all of this factor into the race for the gop nomination? joining us now is vince cull anays, the executive editor of the daily caller. good to see you, vince. >> nice to see you. >> absolutely. let's first start with this and talk about what's working for fiorina. at this point, how is the carly camp going to strategize to

capitalize on the surge? >> well, they need to make sure that they're doing as much as possible to take in all the money that they can because, as often is exposed, as ben carson said right away coming out of his debate performance, you start to see the donations come in. when you have upwardses of 20 some million people watching they're getting in many cases specifically at carly, the first chance to see her on stage in a prime time debate. by the way, she took advantage of her time. and it showed. not only did the pundits think she won, but the american voter in general has said, carly won the debate and she just skyrocketed to second place. this is a big step for her campaign. >> she spoke leer clear and made her points and i think the voters heard her possibly for the first time. buff as you know, now she as a bigger target. where do corrections need to be made to fill in her political pol hole snz. >> well, the pothole is going to be her record as ceo at hewlett-packard.

everyone is looking at carly fiorina. those political watchers. and saying, hey, her time as ceo wasn't great. she's going to need to explain it. why did the company lose jobs? why was she the head of it at that time? why didn't they turn the record profits you would hope to see from a ceo turned presidential candidate. she'll have to address that. she's already started to shore up those talking points to make very clear her role at hp and why she think that's she did a good job with the time she had there. >> yes. you're right, we've started to hear some of the explanation and i think you're right that the voters are going to want to hear even more. let's get back to the recent poll. governor scott walker's campaign right now is on life support. is there such a notion, vince, as too many candidates? that it's tough to break through? or do the current poll numbers simply indicate that folks are tired of the same old same old. >> look at who's on top. the top three candidates right now are donald trump, carly fiorina, and ben carson.

these are non-politicians, non-lawmakers who are up there leading polls. and as time wears on, you've gt to wonder what these traditional lawmaker maybe somewhat establishment candidates are thinking. at one point we thought that jeb bush was going to be a juggernaut. he still may be, given his fund-raising. he's over $100 million. that's a lot of money. >> but people don't want to hear just about fund-raising. it doesn't matter how much money you have. they want to know if you can break through the ka cav ne of voices up there. there's too many voices. i think as time goes on, you tell me that if they're able to stand, that's where the money comes in, if they can keep their support and stay on that stage front and center and then when it's whittled down the people can really hear them. >>tzhz an impressive showing cly begets money. but on the flip side, think about the gop donors, this chaos can't be good for them. they want to put their money behind a winner. everyone i've@2x talked to abou this debate, the fact they had
