all of this p.c. fog has shrouded important issues. like the new census report released last week. it says median income for working americans is 6.5% lower than it wases in 2007, seven years ago because 2014 was the census stat. that means only one thing. president obama's economic policies have failed. right? democrats will never admit that but, facts are stubborn things. unlike mr. obama poverty and income inequality have become worse in america. especially in the minority precincts. but the president will never say that. while salaries from working folks are down. but the president will never say that the liberal media largely ignores the facts, instead trumping up dopey stuff about muslims. and then there is foreign policy. almost a year ago i spoke

that in any religion, christian, jewish, islam or whatever, people bring their own understanding of that again i say there have a lot of muslims in america. i don't know whether it would apply universally, but there is nothing inthreatens sick in the religion that would make a believer and there are all stripes of believers in the u.s. and around the world amicable to the constitution. and if you think that's true, then i think you are making a pronouncement on a religion that you are not an expert on. i'm not even sure you could say that about a christian or about a just. we do not i'm not saying he is not allowed to say it but he is wrong. that's your opinion and we respect that opinion. okay. that's your opinion and we respect it but his opinion is different based upon, i believe, ations, not writing in the koran.

joining us now from washington, fox news senior political analyst brit hume. why didn't scott walker catch on? >> bill, he has a guy that seemed to have the achievements that republican voters are looking for. they are constantly complaining that their leaders in washington in particular it don't fight. walker had been in these bruising fights out in wisconsin with the labor movement out there and he had won them. but the man we saw on the debate stage in neither debate projected the image of much of a fighter. he said very little. didn't say it with much force he was bland and classic midwestern way. pleasant, bland and people were looking for something else. and this didn't see in scott walker the man that they had heard about and his support dried up and his money dried up and last poll. >> if trump had not been in the race. if trump had not been in the race. would it have been different for walker in your opinion? >> it would have been different for everybody, bill. obviously to some extent for walker. not plane to me. look, there were plenty of other candidates in the race

who were alternatives to trump. he didn't get that marco rubleio has planned managed to stay afloat. it wasn't mission impossible for him. >> hillary clinton is up now a little bit, why? >> look at this poll, it's 404 voters. that's not a huge sample. it's satisfactory, i suppose. marginal of error plus or nine minus five points. it may indeed be true that she has moved back into a more commanding lead over bernie sanders but it may also not be true. this will need to be confirmed by further polling. she is still -- certainly doesn't suggest that she has lost further ground. i would say that. >> why is trump losing steam? >> well, you think what -- what i would be more thinking out of this poll is he is maybe leveling off. again, same margin of error. plus or minus five points.

this person. it is a tragedy, but we have to be very careful in tragedy not to rush to judgment because we don't know what else this guy had in the system if he had a history of mental illness. if he he had a history of domestic abuse. i think all of those questions are very important and i'm sure they will be answered as this investigation goes forward. that is, in fact, a tragedy. do we have the evidence to blame the whole thing on pot and is that causation to make it illegal? i don't think we do. >> this is the headline the police investigators put out. what do you say about it, katie? >> well, look, i think that this is a tragedy. i agree with kennedy. i also think that there are tragedies that happen with legal substances all the time there are people who get in cars after they have been drinking and they kill people by the thousands every single year. and i think this goes to show though that the marijuana activists saying that marijuana isn't

harmful, kind of blows a hole? their argue. i think he is going to have hard time winning in court by saying that he was insane at the time. but, also, one more thing i want to point out here, too. the argument to legalize marijuana came on the basis of saying they could regulate it effectively. we are see youing nowg in the experiment of maybe overdosing on this drug and having it too big of a dose in the edible form can result in a very devastating consequence. i think that's the experiment colorado is running right now. >> i am going to give you, kennedy, some stats that involve other people not just the dopey pot heads, okay? traffic, marijuana related deaths up 32% in colorado since its legal. children ingesting marijuana, there were two in 2009, 2014, 16. all right. 3 % increase in the number of marijuana-related hospitalizations since it's

legal. and double the number of traffic deaths voluming marijuana in colorado. double. so, it's not just the pot heads. it's the other people. and this has always been the argument against the legalization of narcotics is public safety. kennedy 30 seconds. katie, 30 seconds, go. >> this is a misrepresentation of a lot of these facts. for example before 2009 they weren't testing for marijuana. of course you are going to see more marijuana in the bloodstream after traffic accidents because they have more effective means for testing it and people are going to report when they overdose because it is legal. and a lot of this is confirmation by us at the hands of those people who put that survey together, which runs in direct opposition to voters in colorado who still overwhelmingly support the marijuana legalization there. >> the stats are the stats. >> the stats are not the stats in this case, bill. i have to take herb with that. >> yes, they. >> no, they have actually.
