important because, you know, you are covering this story live and you are seeing it once. and you are actually witnessing it, not knowing what you are seeing until you actually process it. but in the video that we have, that you have, that is, as you say, i don't think anybody else has this video. we can clearly see the man in camouflage t-shirt and pants with what appears to be at least in his right hand a knife. >> did the anchor there just tell the reporter you don't know what you are seeing? >> that's the problem when the anchor is having to tell the reporter. >> yet, i have got to say. i have some sympathy having been in this exact situation including in israel and around israel. when you are there sometimes it is hard to see things. >> sometimes you don't see things. >> i would give this guy the benefit of the doubt except as you say clayton, he does have history of inserting pretty aggressive opinions in his reporting including calling chris keil racist because chris keil didn't like the people fighting in

the middle east you are a racist now? >> there is a history of his comments against israel this morning. this is just one of those in a long line. >> give us your opinions on that as well. right now we are going to talk about other headlines developing. former nba star lamar odom showing signs of improvement four days after being found unconscious at nevada brothel. a family spokesperson says he is awake, is he communicating, even giving a thumbs up. that's good news. there are reports that odom asked for his estranged wife khloe kardashian and he somehow managed to say hello to her. officials are still investigating odom's $75,000 three day visit to that brothel. overnight, a scare in the sky, a southwest airlines plane forced to return to denver minutes after takeoff when the smell of smoke filled the cabin. the captain declared it an emergency. the plane landed safely there were no signs of fire. the plane was taken out of service. passengers boarded of a new plane for their flight to seattle. and regulating the air,

so some headlines for you right now. a terrifying scene we want to show new houston, texas, after nearly seven stories of scaffolding collapses, injuring at least six construction workers. more than 100 firefighters. they all rushed to the the scene of the rubble, digging through the debris that covered a city block. they were trying to find anyone who may be trapped. officials are still trying to figure out exactly how this happened. 7 a-year-old army veteran saved 16 children from a knife wielding man inside a library. police say that james vernon was leading a chess club meeting for kids 7 to 13 when 19-year-old dustin brown burst into the room vowing to kill everyone. he was slashed in the face but pinned brown down until police arrived. brown was free on bond on child pornography charges and he is now accused of attempted murder. a major update in the fight for faith that we have been following. a high school football coach

straight into that. i have been in these storms and they are treacherous. very, very rough. that storm will continue to plague them today and continue to watch now into the northeast. the first snow of the year or significant snow and really, really cold temperatures. you see the snow he this morning in parts of maine and upstate new york. pennsylvania, great lakes, michigan. that's really the spot where we will see most of the accumulation. maybe 4 to 5 inches around the up. very chilly air settling down across the south and tonight get ready for another cold one. this morning dealing with temps in the 30's for most of you around the great lakes. heather, send it over to you. >> thank you very much. we will take to you tamp parks florida. a cheerleader is at a high school there. they plan to suit up in these pink uniforms this month just like they did last year. and it was, of course, to raise awareness for breast cancer and support victims of the disease. but here's the thing. the school district banned them from doing so. the reason? school officials claim that it was against policy and it wouldn't be fair for the girls to wear pink uniforms

disappointing because we fund raised the money ourselves and we are wearing these pink uniforms to support people with breast cancer or survivors. not just pink uniforms that we decided to wear just for fun. it has a meaning and a purpose behind it. >> yeah, to raise awareness. and, kelly, the problem is that it's not just other kids at your school, it's other schools. because they don't have the same uniforms that they could go out and raise the money as well, right? >> correct. they could have raised money. they could have had their parents pay for it but they chose not to and we have to suffer for it. >> i do want to bring this up though. this is what the district had to say, a spokesperson because we want to get their side of it. they said we don't want to have the haves and the have notes and we want to make sure that all our students have the same ability to go out on the field, look about the same, and be able to play and have the same means. so what do other2 kids at your school think about this? are they rallying behind you

>> they think it's ridiculous, too. because other schools can fund raise and wear these pink uniforms. they choose not to. >> other schools can wear the uniforms? >> if they raise the funds to get them and buy them, then they could buy the uniforms. >> enough to i understand. but you also can wear something pink. you are allowed to wear like pink objects, maybe a pink bracelet it's just the entire uniform that you are being told you can't wear. >> correct. >> all right. did anybody say anything to you last year just finely? it's interesting that they -- nothing was said last year but this year they are telling you nah, can't do it anymore. >> yeah. they told us that apparently last year we weren't supposed to do it even though multiple people knew we did. >> how is your team doing this year? that's a final question. how is the football team doing? >> pretty good. >> yeah. doing good.

somewhere outside the borders of israel. separate government. jerusalem is going to be undivided city. it will not work as a divided city it has to be protected that way. keep in mind there is extraordinary level of effort on the part of the israelis to protect the holy sites not just for the jews but also for the muslims and the christians. let me ask you something. you can name any arab capital in the world in which the muslims are protective of christian sites or jewish sites? just this week -- in fact, yesterday, palestinian extremists burned the tomb of joseph. it's an act of despicable desis he creation for the holy site for the jews in the town of nablis. i have been there many times. this kind of action is just so beyond the pale. >> different factions. >> part of the problem is that the leadership of the

their representatives were in a conference call, in fact, several of them. some of them i understand got very heated according to the people on my team who were on them and it there was extraordinary push back number one to keep this at two hours. because the insurvel three hour debate that we went through the last time should never happen again. the gilligan and skipper three hourhe minute -- tour and a the cnn debate was longer than that. it was beyond tolerance. that was one of the provisions. the other was to make sure the candidates had opening and closing statements so at least no matter what the questions were, candidates could make one rational statement about something that mattered to them. and the result was that those concerns were dealt with and the other thing that the campaigns wanted, awful of the campaigns, including some of those who were polling well, is to have some balance of time allocated to the various campaigns. because in the last debate, i'm -- i might as well gone

as, you know, they go after people like james rosen at fox news. they don't view the problem where really is which is militant islam. they can't even say it after fort hood happened, they don't even consider that domestic terror. when many people were killed in texas. so they have a blind spot to the real problem. >> that is the problem, because the information is coming in to this country without americans even needing to leave and go over there. i mean, the extremists are here in the form of the internet and recruiting these people to do these acts of violence. >> well, that's right. and it's not somebody who came back from three tours of duty like this administration's department of homeland security put everyone on the watch for. it's people on the internet listening to the radicals in the middle east who share an ideology with them, who are looking to shoot people, kill people, and bomb people. that's where the domestic terror problem is. but this president cannot

articulate that. he doesn't think like most americans about this issue. he thinks like this small can cabal which will be increased at the justice department in size who have a totally different world view from mainstream america. that's what's so dangerous when the problems here now they approach it the wrong way. >> so many leading democrats have said recently they just would like to disarm the american population. hillary clinton said that yesterday. why would this kind of panel not be used as a pretext for doing that? >> well, i think it exactly will be, tucker. these people in this administration -- i used to work with some of them. they would tell you that they were more concerned about the rise of the right wing, you know, the people with uniforms, marching through the streets. they thought that was a real threat. they really did. they didn't see islam as the greater threat. they saw domestic gun owners, patriots, tea party groupings. and we have seen the policy play out. tea party groups have been targeted. this isn't fantasy.

this is what his irs has done. and his justice department has already done. >> and in terms of the -- what can happen after someone is charged with these type of crimes, does it matter specifically if it is labeled domestic terrorism versus international? >> yeah. there is a domestic terrorism statute that is separate from sort of the more familiar international, you know, acts of mass destruction statutes. and so when you attempt to do things, and some people already haven't been charged. i mean, you can be sure that people will get a pass if they come from a certain political view. they will get charged with the lesser stuff. you should have been playing with fireworks on a state level. when it comes to the political opponents of this administration, they always get the full force of the law. >> wow. jay christian adams, talking to you always makes me feel a little paranoid. that's probably a good thing. sounds justified. thanks for coming on this

>> you know, this is a very early stage in what's going on. obviously he was found and taken to the hospital and resuscitated. typically the body goes into a coma, which is altered level of consciousness. you are not able to speak, not able to talk or interact. when you have this type of situation your body shuts down and tries to give blood to the two most important organs the heart and the brain. now that has been in the hospital and been given medications and fluids, his organs will start to recover slowly as long as they weren't down for a long period of time. >> i was reading in your notes that it isn't unheard of for someone to come through like this, say some words, speak some, be alert and then go back. >> correct. you tend to be n and out type of stage. periods of lucid intervals meaning awake, talking and going back into the coma. >> in terms of recovery are from here, this point forward, he suffered strokes inside his head, what can he expect. >> the most important thing is to determine where the strokes are. when you have a stroke the part of the brain that needs blood is essentially dead. depending on where it is

harris, thomas harris is a senior pastor, and i am the neighboring pastor down the street. we rally together in su ypport m of the nuisance letter that he got from the city. >> what do you think about? you all agree because you banded together. >> well, we have a major migration pattern flow in oakland, california. it's a great place to live, and we have some newcomers what we call gender fires. they're coming into the city and as they move in, they're not quiet excited about religion as those of us that have and been in sthe city. they have sent letters or contacted the city. the city contacted us and pastor harris and a few other churches and talked about the noise was too loud. >> we actually have that. this is a piece of the letter that's from oakland to the church.
