>> a heartbreaking homecoming for oklahoma state university after a woman slams into a crowd at the parade and killed at least three people. this is the "fox report." police arresting this woman and accusing her of driving under the influence. she say she drove into a crowd of spectators. take a look at the aftermath. a witness saying all she saw were bodies. flying. >> throw people were killed. at least 34 people were hurt. eight remain in critical condition. the university tweeting and i quote, "oklahoma state university is saddened by the tragic parade incident early this morning. our thoughts and prayers are with those affected."

casey is outside the medical center where victims are being treated as we speak. casey, what is the latest? >> out of the 34 people total who were injured, eight are listed in "critical," condition and the latest word is that nine are in "serious," condition and they are scattered all over. some are treated at memorial day center in stillwater, the more serious airlifted to neighboring tulsa and oklahoma city, we know three people did not survive today. investigators are saying in the middle of the joyous and annual event leading up to the big oklahoma state homecoming game, hundreds of people lining the streets to cheer their team. when the cops say a 25-year-old drove her sedan through a barricade and slammed into a crowd of spectators. police say she has been charged with driving while intoxicated

but they will not elaborate further on that, if it was alcohol, drugs or both. eyewitnesses report seeing bodies flying feet into the air like "rag dolls." here is the mayor of the community. >> we are heartbroken at this tragedy. our thoughts and prayers are with the family of those who died and those who were injured. >> at this point police do not believe chambers was a student here at osu. >> so tragic. today's game still went ahead as scheduled, is that right? >> yes, it did. the university president said they gave careful consideration to that. they thought about canceling the game but he said they wanted to go on to honor the victims. look at the tape. it was a very somber start to the game just before kickoff, the flag at the stadium lowered to half staff after running out on to the field prior to the

houston area where they are expecting another 8-12" of rain and potentially more after we saw some of the damage that played out overnight in one of the hardest hit areas a swift wart rescue team navigated to a truck almost completely submerged. you can only see the roof. trapped inside was a man and his dog and they pulled both out and got them to safety. you may remember houston had devastated floods on memorial day weekend. authorities today came out and asked residents to keep that weekend in mind after a dozen people died over the course of several days. >> over memorial day we had so much rain that was falling on us and we were hit withed there waters -- with flood waters from central texas so we are watching

the coast closely this time. it depends on how fast the storm moves influence the area. >> with record rainfall in texas, authorities there in houston are asking the residents to stay at home tonight if they do not have to go anywhere. stay safe. >> what about the train derailment? >> you saw those crazy pictures at the beginning of the story. that happened 50 miles south of dallas. it was the union pacific train. it was when a creek overthrowed and washed over the tracks and washed them away. two crew members had to swim through the water. they were not injured. the train was hauling cement but there was concern at a point of diesel pouring out and they called in haz-mat. when you see the pictures think how strong the moving water is, 6" of moving water is enough to knock a person over and 2'

enough to move a car. obviously, these are dangerous conditions that can play out. >> incredible. >> before aiming for texas huricane patricia hit mexico with the fury of category 5 storm and fizzled into a depression. while the damage is not so bad as originally predicted, the storm still flooded streets and uprooted free -- trees. william? >> we are at a small village about an hour drive north of manzanillo the southern boundary of the impact of huricane patricia. we have been look for the impact all day and now you can see we found it. i want to trace our steps the last 24 hours since we arrived here and follow the red line. on the route from guadalajara it

rained all night. and we avived in puerto vallarta and it was dry and it was supposed to be in the eye of the storm. not case. it passed puerto vallarta. now, south, to severalville amendments from 100 people to a thousand people and we finally hit in this village with 10 or 12 homes, one room, no running water, with the roofs all metal, and they have been blown off and most of the homes, the beams are carved of local trees and there is no running water. you can actually see how the 150 miles per hour winds we raked across the side of hill. the river is at very high levels and they are saying it is a

summer, we went from drought to flooding, back to drought and now we are back to flooding again. that has been the story here across texas the last number of months. look at this area just to the southeast of dallas it has been the worst of it and you can see right here the 16.3 radar estimates we have heard amounts up to 20" in a day and a half across the area. that has been the worst of it. it stretched down i-35 through austin and san antonio and brownsville, another batch of incredibly heavy rain. we will watch it shift to the east and you can see the rotation here, the system is pulling to the east. this i 35 area is about to dry out and corpus christi is almost done with flash flooding from the incredible rain. now we will start to see this pull off to the east overnight and that is where houston is going to be the target overnight and watch this, we start to see this move into louisiana and a

number of states are going to get if this when we are done and that is not until monday or tuesday. tomorrow it is louisiana, stretching to mississippi and monday to mississippi and a little bit of alabama and the florida panhandle but some areas will have excess of 8-12" of rain. it will cause potentially dangerous flooding. >> what a storm as you mentioned, the strongest storm on record. it is interesting that a lot of people saying much ado about nothing but later you will talk to us about why this storm was so historic. >> i cannot wait to talk. there are so many things from messaging to the impact from the storm and how each storm is different and it is difficult for us to get all of the messaging out to the public. we will try to dissect that. >> thank you, rick. >> right now the islamic state claiming responsibility for a deadly bombing overseas
