in new york city thousands of police officers will be on the streets for macy's annual thanksgiving day parade. the u.s. state department is updating a worldwide travel alert telling americans to be vigilant in public places on public transportation and in large crowds. the travel alert coming as belgium said it will keep the terror alert. the prime minister is saying schools and the city subway system will start to reopen on wednesday. that's despite word of an imminent terror threat. >> we are fearing a similar attack that involved several individuals who might launch an attack on several locations at the same time. >> security is still high in paris. they are patrolling the city streets. he is wanted for his suspected it role in the paris uhing

the government officials report one of their warplanes was shot down or has shot down a jet they say violated turkish airspace. a spokesperson with turkey's military says the pilot of that jet was given warning that he was over turkish airspace before his plane was brought down. he ignored the warnings. footage appears to show two pilots parachuting out of the downed jet. and four people are dead after a helicopter crash in fort hood, texas. that's according to the u.s. army officials. the helicopter went down and the emergency crews located the crash scene and four crew members were found dead. they were assigned to the division west first army and on a routine training
