>> temperatures dipping into the sij digits and below as another wintery storm is already bringing snow overnight. maria molina is tracking the storm for us. what's the latest? >> good morning heather and leeann. it is wild weather across the midwest. we have big winter storms affecting washington state and it is quickly going southward across oregon state and eventually across parts of california. some of that moisture is going to be impacting parts of the rockies with heavy snow across this part of the country. we could be looking at a foot of snow along the higher elevations. the snow will continue across parts of the rockies and also across sierra in california low elevation s could be looking at it going through as well. as far as it goes it will be widespread. many areas will see a foot of snow so the darker blue that is showing 18 inches of snow.
