6:02 pm
plus 7 plus 14 of the iranians coming down the pike. what do you think about the timing and what does it mean for americans going forward? >> it is obvious the release of the hostages after such an extended period of time, judge is linked to the nuclear deal. the iranians would never have released these people unless they are getting that sanctions relief over $100 million in sanctions relief in addition to the opening up the global markets to iranian oil and ten's of billions of dollars of investment in iran. what this means at the end of the day is a, iran has proven again that taking american hostages is a very, very profitable business and we should expect to see more of it in the future, but second that iran now is going to become the dominant political economic and military power in the gulfable
6:03 pm
to sow terrorism and instability through out this part of the world, and in 8 to 15 years all of these constraints from these nuclear deal go away they will be able to produce as much uranium as they want and againiagain be a threshold nuclear power. >> it is not just this big power in the gulf. they have tentacles in iraq and tentacles in syria propping up assad. isn't it interesting in iraq just today three americans with dual citizenship i believe with iraq have been kidnapped. i mean, can we expect there is going to be more demands for more money and negotiations based on the precedent that president obama says is a one-time thing, only doing this once? didn't we do it with bergdahl and the five prisoner swap? >> i don't think anything can be ruled out, judge.
6:04 pm
we don't know who took the americans inside iraq. the only militia that i know operating in bag thdad now are iranian backed militia. i wouldn't be surprised if we see an eye ranian hand behind this. with the nuclear deal made we have seen an endless series of challenges from the iranians together with the russians escalated the military intervention in syria fired off the ballistic missiles shot missiles with the range of the american fleet in the gulf. last week they took 10 american sailors hostage for 24-hours. >> let's talk about the fen american sailors. i was disgusted. i was devastated, disheartened to see them on their knees with their hands behind their heads with guns at home. the one female with the head starve on her head, it was so

6:06 pm
to everybody in that region especially the saudis that we are the new sheriff in town, america is leaving. >> devastating. john hahn gnaw, thank you very much for being with us. >> now to my opening statement, the republican party is in real trouble. they proved it to all of us this week. their primary strategy as it relates to donald trump right now is dead wrong. it will cost them the election and the white house. there's trouble grewing behind the scenes that has occasionally seeped out. this week republicans took a direct hit at donald trump. their leading republican presidential frontrunner in every national poll. last i heard, only animals eat their young, and maybe a few cannibals. example, republican governor

donald trump? >> some people think you have to be the loudest voice in the room to make a difference. that is just not true. often the best thing we can do is turn down the volume when the sound is quieter, you can actually hear what someone else is saying. >> if you don't think he was talking about donald trump, she confirmed it the next day. >> yes, mr. trump has definitely contributed to what i think is irresponsible talk. >> what you think? who anointed you to take a shot at the leading contender for president in your own party in a nationally tell rised historic rebuttal when you could have laid out a strategy of how the very fabric of america has changed under this democratic so-called leadership. how about you turn your unsol l lisitied comments toward the president's comments about your party. why don't you tell him to tone down the rhetoric. by the way, there was a time
6:09 pm
nicky hailey when you were one the angriest voices. you came in in a tea party wave angry about what was happening in america, and now you epitomize the very establishment that you promised to change. so why would the republicans not want their lead candidate to advance? i will tell you why. donald trump doesn't do the washington two step where one hand washes the other, where you over look my vulnerabilities and i will over look yours and then we all get to come back. those who were more interested in serving their income ban see than the american people. why elsz would republicans agree to a budget that includes federal funding for sanctuary cities that allows illegals to commit crimes felonies and murders to not be arrested or
6:10 pm
even deported. now the republicans all grand standed about the lawless actions and how they were not going to reward the sanctuary cities, but then they danced with the democrats, passed the budget and went home for christmas. i tell you what, folks, donald trump is not vulnerable or beholden to any of them. nick can i, you are worried about donald's voice, americans are tuning in to debates in historic numbers. i tell you who the angriest voices are? the angriest are the american people. we have been gutted we are scared and the american dream is not what it used to be. unless you are an illegal immigrants. by the way. aren't you a right to work state? and you tell us to tone it down
6:11 pm
to turn down the volume in maybe you and your establishment friends of the republican party ought to turn down your own volume and start listening to us, start supporting your own party's frontrunner, the person republicans want. your strategy is all wrong. start supporting the frontrunner. there's a reason by the way you elected politicians are all held in such low esteem. be careful, be very, very careful. get in line behind our favorite. after all, if you have forgotten, you work for us, you, too, can be fired. that's my opening statement. tell me what you think about my facebook page or twitter #judge jeanine. a few minutes ago i spoke with

south carolina congressman jeff duncan about nicki hailey verses donald trump and what it means for the republican party. take a look. representative duncan. thank you for being with us this evening. i feel very strongly about what happened this week between the republican party and what i think is a direct hit at donald trump. governor nicki hailey acknowledged her rebuttal in president obama in his last year as president she said we have to stop firing the siren call of the angriest voices she admitted her comments were aimed at trump. why would she use this critical time to criticize the republican frontrunner? > it is unfortunate that she did. i think republicans especially the establishment should stop bashing the frontrunners and listen more to what they are saying. it is resinating with the american people as reflected in the polls.
6:13 pm
>> you are from south carolina as well. have you ever seen the party take shots? is make no mistake she was chosen by paul ryan and mitch mcdonnell. we are talking about the heavy hitters. is she so establishment she is not listening and she would rather get an establishment candidate in there? what's wrong with the american people saying, or the republicans anyway, we want donald trump? >> it is funny nicki hailey is considered an establishment candidate. i know her well. she is a very conservative person. i think she listened to the wrong advisors on this. i think the speech was wrong to bash the frontrunner. the american people seem to like it. it is reflecting in all of the polls. >> you know what's amazing?
6:14 pm
we have become so used to being politically correct sweeveryone afraid to go outside the box. they should be worried. the jobs depend on what we the american people think. that's just my comment. she was seen by many as a good pick for vp. do you think any of this has changed that? >> possibly. it depends who wins on the republican side. we will see. she did a great job as governor of south carolina. she made miss steps but we all do in a sometimes hard legislative process. we will see who the nominee is and who they choose? >> you are on the foreign affairs committee what are your thoughts on the nuke deal and so-called prisoner release and lifting of the iranian sanctions? >> we are pleased they have been
6:15 pm
released. but at the end of the day the iranian nuclear deal is bad for freedom. not just america but global freedom. what happens now is iran has their hands on $150 billion which they can use to exporterrism to give to their friends at hamas and hezbollah and possibly isis and al qaeda. exporting terrorism is one of iran's trademarks. the export says they have $150 to do it and they will have a nuclear weapon in 10 years or less. >> the idea of them saying this is a prisoner swap. this is the bottom line. it is a hostage swap. now that there is talk that a third country paid 500,000 dollars to iran for each of the prisoners their guys were convicted of real crimes in the united states, public trials and our guys that were incarcerateed
6:16 pm
by iran they haven't been convicted of a real crime. the president is negotiating with terrorists calling it a prisoner swap when our guys aren't criminals they are hostages. >> you are spot on. the folks that were in prison in iran were in prison for being american and being christian. espionage and real rica were crimes and they will be released. it sets a bad precedence. it's another example of failed policies of the obama administration. >> i would like to thank you for being with us this evening. >> thank you. >> nikki hailey acknowledged her state of the union comments warning republicans not follow the siren poll of the angriest voices were aimed at trump. why would she use this time to criticize the frontrunner in the race for the white house?
