"hannity" starts right here, right now. hello, welcome to "hannity." tonight the feud between donald trump and senator ted cruz continues. now over the past 24 hours, the competing gop rivals ramped up their rhetoric and traded shots what now appears to be an all-out war of words just days away from the new hampshire primary. take a look. >> this guy, ted cruz, ted cruz goes out, you talk about liars. >> donald trump is very rattled right now. >> here's the guy, gets up in iowa, and he said, donald trump wants obamacare. you know, it's a flat-out lie. >> he told the entire world he was going to win iowa. then he didn't win. and his reaction is he got very angry. >> he'll get up and he'll talk about his relationship with god, his relationship with the bible,

more outsiders than not and the one guy who's more of an insider, more of a guy who's acceptable to the establishment, marco rubio and maybe bush and kasich still, they're on the other side and cruz and trump together have a really big chunk of the electorate. so for now, i think they should do more of focusing on what the establishment failures are and then move forward. there will be plenty of time for them to take on each other later on in the contest. but i think the only one who benefits from this right now is marco rubio. i think it's a big mistake for both of them to take up all this time going after each other. i think it begins to look like a sideshow. i think they should be talking about real problems, facing real amercking is to the establishment. >> you know, we're showing the highlights of the fighting, but they're getting into substance, too. it's not just the one issue, but it keeps coming up. it seems to be pretty personal now at this point. it's almost hard to ask juan because you can see it on his face, laura, that he loves every single second of this. >> no, i'm interested in laura's

president bush is still enormously popular and the retired military and veterans populations really believe he stood up for america and the contrast between him and obama is particularly strong. it's going to have some impact, but it's also one level a stein of weakness. it's a sign that jeb bush doesn't have an ability on his own to put this together. so he's brought in his brother. you know, presently -- that's fine. i mean, he has the strength and the weakness of being part of the bush family. and he has to live with that. i don't think it will be decisive, but remember, these guys from your polling data, you got about three or four guys within very few percent of each other, so anything that moves the needle from a kasich, bush, christie standpoint is a big deal. and one of the polls you just cited, for example, it was kasich who was in third place, not rubio. so, you kno wae'll have to wait to see -- i think the debate, by the way, is going to matter a lot. >> i agree. >> and will be a big deal. >> although it's on a saturday

i will be their president, i will do everything i can do give them the opportunities they deserve. >> all right. here with reaction, the host of "dana on the blaze" dana loesch and fox news contributor eboni williams. good to see you both. both friends of mine. eboni, all right, she's not a likable person. i think it's different than that. but is is it that young people, maybe because the obama economy is so bad, and they can't get jobs and are living in mommy and daddy's basement, maybe they have been indoctrinated into believing that they should get all free stuff and bernie's offering that, i'm almost giving hillary a defense here. >> i was going to say, i'm a little more cynical around that, sean. i think she doesn't represent newness. there's nothing fresh and new about her. she looks like a 1996 -- >> is there something new about bernie i'm missing? >> not the same old stale right-wing conspiracy narrative we're tired of. we want to get past that. hillary clinton is saying her greatest enemy in the world right now is the gop.

it just seems stale. >> is it, dana, that she's old or it's more appealing to young people the views of socialism? because that would scare me. >> i think it's kind of both. i grew up under the clinton administration, and i'm so tired as well of hearing the vast -- >> you're not that old, dana, come on, stop. >> i'm telling you, some of my girlfriends who are democrats even, they're like, we're done hearing about hillary clinton, we're done with her baggage, she's not appealing, she's not presenting anything new. and sean, bernie sanders is like santa claus. he's i'll give you free this, give you free that. it's hard -- >> everything's free. >> right. >> did you notice hillary in the speech in iowa, she sounded more open to giving free stuff than he did. >> she's trying to race him to that. >> it's a race to the left now, sean. also some of us, dana and i are similar age here, we do remember the clintons. that's not who they are. it's not believable when you're talking about you're this uber-progressive. >> does that hurt her in the general election? >> of course it does.

her statement in this intro, sean, they don't have to be there for me, i'll be there for them. that's different from what she said a week ago, if you're there for me, i'll be tre for you. again, secretary clinton, which one is it? >> that's a good point. do you remember, dana, that they came out we're going to see a kinder and gentler and a funnier and grandmother and they're always trying to redo the image of her, but then she stands up like she did in iowa and she is just angry and just railing away and screaming. >> i have never seen anybody, sean, that it is so hard to humanize them than hillary clinton. i mean, and you know, girls know when they look, when a female looks at another female, you know, is this a girl that i can tell my secrets to if we're getting a pedicure done, can we go out and have girl talk? you just don't trust hillary clinton. >> i'm having a hard time relating to this. >> sean doesn't want wine night with hillary clinton, dana. >> i don't get the mani-pedi thing. that takes way too long. there's no bonding with her? >> no.
