i think it's very effective right now. and he's just going to have to come up with some ways to counterpunch that. >> congressman, what do you make by the argument that the governors are more battle tests, they have made tough decisions and that makes them inherently more qualified than someone who has served on the hill? >> when you watched the debate last night it's very clear that each governor made a case for his ascend antsy to the prezi. i thought governor kasich did a good job. and senator kristy was brawling but made a case about his leadership. and governors do have a background that recommend selves they was to executive office. not the only qualification, but i think it's something the american people received a lesson in last night. >> rick, i want to ask you, do

investigate oorls say the explosion in flight was caused by a bot hidden in a laptop. fox news obtained closed circuit security video from the airport officials are caring this hand off to a laptop to a passenger shortly before the plane took off. in the video, an airport worker in a branded vest and a man causely dressed is seen walking from the top to the bottom of the picture alone a walkway to one of the open departure lounges. the man in the white shirt is carrying a small laptop. this area is known as air side. passengers and airport staff are supposed to go through security checks including exray machines before being permitted into this area. within minutes a lone person can be seen walking towards the camera along the walkway. investigators believe this is the man who carried the man who carried the laptop on word and

u.s. officials say it pose nod immediate threat but the potential long term dang remembers clear. remember this comes just one month after north korea's fourth nuclear test. the u.n. security council is discussing how best to respond to that. now this this rorkt launch to respond as well. the white house is now calling for serious consequences. national security adviser susan rice said, quote, north korea's missile and nuclear weapons program represents serious threats. we call upon the international community to stand together and demonstrate to north korea that its reckless acts must have serious consequences. now this rocket launched just 30 minutes before last night's republican debate. senator ted cruz was asked, if president, would he have ordered a preemptive strike to destroy this missile? cruz said he wouldn't speculate but he would discuss his fears of an eelectromagnetic pulse that could fry our electrical grid. >> one of the real rinks of this

claimed that fears among democrats aren't really that warranted because the fbi investigation into her home brew server is just a, quote, security review. but is this really the case? congressman mike pompeo on the select committee of intelligence joins us now. you think about this and her splfrgs. first there was no top secret information of now there is top secret information, the fib though is doing a security review. to your knowledge, does the fib routinely do security reviews. they don't. i have had a chance to read the 22 top secret e-mails and i can assure everyone watching today that there is important national security information contained in those and they were for skmopts months stored on a server that was not protected the way national security information must be protected. it posed risks to soldiers and sailors and air force and marines all across the world. i'm confident the fbi investigation will continue.

the three governors combined do not have the experience with national security that senator rubio possesses. >> why didn't he make that point. >> i think he did. he talked about all he had accomplished legislatively and his role in national security over the past few years as well. i think what happened in iowa and what i expect to happen in tuesday in new hampshire will demonstrate that americans understand that task and senator rubio's ability to lead in a place after barack obama has put the country at risk. >> when you talk about the ability the lead, that means to take serious incoming and react under pressure. the criticism levelled by some of the governors was that when faced with real crit tichl under real pressure he went back to his talking points, back to his talking points, back to his talking points. why didn't we see a moor dynamic response to chris christie? >> i have a different view. when you are at 3% you scrap for whatever you can. you hear that from some of the

voter here who can decide who primary they are going vote in. they can make the difference. you have candidates who spent lot of time here, christie, bush, rubio, and these people are the ones who are -- i think a lot of people are really looking to see how they were going to do during the debate. a lot of people in new hampshire they don't care about what iowa says, they don't care what the polls say they want to see these candidates themselves. i think the didn'ts with a huge game changer. >> as we watched what happened this morning, carl cameron was reporting on what donald trump performed, his dirs retail visit, it's not something mr. trump has done in match although he is leading in the polls. if new hampshirites want to meet the candidates why are they supporting someone who hasn't done the applicationing they

desire. >> in new hampshire we have had more than 80 polls in the field. at a certain point you get tired of picking up the phone and telling pollsters who you are going to vote for. i think the polls -- the other thing, if you look at the polls they are more than 50% undecided here. i think you have to be really careful with the polls. yes, donald trump is leading in the polls. what does that really mean? can he transform those polls into votes? i think in the last week he has really started doing retail politics, which as you said he hasn't done before because i think if the you look at iowa, there were 11 polls saying he was going to win and he didn't. i think that he is really trying to retune his campaign here to figure out a way to make sure that he is turning all this support in the polls to voters who are actually going to come out for him on tuesday. >> yes, it's something he definitely had a hard time doing in iowa, in terms of not having a ground game and the like. quickly, in our last 30 seconds or so, switching to the delts,

we have to if i have them the resources they need. we have to figure out what it's going to take to fix the damage that's bond done. the amount of money that's needed. and then we need to get the facts and hold accountable those that did it and make sure it doesn't happen again in any american city. we have to make sure it doesn't happen any place else. >> in part it seems like this was triggered because flit had a financial crisis going on. there was a recommendation to change the sourcing of the water. that happened. now we are talking about potentially hundreds of millions of dollars to try to help the children and everybody who is affected and terrified to turn on their tap water.they don't any if they can shower in it. certainly aren't drinking in it. >> there is no trust. that's one of the big problems and they are not getting straight information. you had a governor who said if i had a gran child it's safe to bathe in the water and the attorney general said it's not safe for his children to bathe

in the water. nobody can tell them what's accurate or not. because all of the trust is gone we know when washington, d.c. had a lead problem they iced a chelcal to coat the water and it worked. but they don't trust anybody that the water is safe. who do you believe? how do you know the water is really safe? that's one of the problems. >> the cleanup taking a long time of it's going to take long toorm time for people to trust even if the water tests clean. where is all the money going to come from? who should oversee this? >> the problem is nobody has credible. i think the epa has stepped in and they have been testing the water. is good news is there is a trend that most of the homes have shown a downward level in what those that are using filters on their water, that's the right thing do. the university of michigan professor is mapping out the pipes that need to be replaced. and we have got to come -- this is a man made crisis by the state of michigan. they have got the lead
