barack obama up for the george bush era, goes from 39.6 to 25%. that's five below, at least five below where bush it it. >> yeah. there's big cuts across the board. including at the high end. that's going to be one of the pieces he's going to be critiqued for by his critics. >> the corporate tax, you've got to get bipartisan support. everyone agrees it look like barack obama wanted to trade off to get that decreased, and nothing happened. >> a big cut from 3 35% to 15%. that's controversial. that's in one of the issues that you're seeing bipartisan support. >> what would it mean to the overall economy? trump's plan would have 25% larger capital stocks. 6.5% higher wages. 5.3 million full-time jobs. and 11% higher gdp over the long term. we've not seen that growth the last 30 years. >> he's talking 5% to 6% economic growth. two to three time than what we've seen in recent memory. he's asking for growth. i'm not sure it's possible in

the embarrassment to her and her family, psychological counseling and medications, not to mention the 17 million who have viewed the video. on the other hand, marriott will argue they're not liable. this is a lunatic stalker who got the private information because he tricked the hotel employees. however, this is going to be a poor argument. they're going to be stuck with liability because they had a duty continue to disclose her information, let alone giving her room number and placing him in the adjacent room. on the other hand, they are -- they're going to start to diminish the damages here. what's going to happen here is they'll say, look, no publicity is bad publicity. it's going to be the classic argument that, you know, she got more famous health care reform more opportunities, and guess what, she's added a new gig. >> yeah, and annie, you mentioned that -- >> and "dancing with the stars" -- >> you mentioned that. a lot of people saying she's gotten more famous because of this. watch. this we'll show you emotional

testimony of her dad in court. i want to bring you in and get your reaction to this. >> she's terrified. she's depressed. she cries. she's full of anxiety. she's a shell of the person she was before this happened. >> you know, what's your reaction to that? you're seeing her blotting her eyes because she's crying. her dad says that she is a shell of her former self. >> absolutely. i mean, we have to understand that, sure, you know, she may have benefitted from the situation, but what is a girl supposed to do? she has to bounce back from the situation. does she need to be out of work and homeless in order to prove damages? yes, when she gets on the stand today rve she's going to -- today, she's going to talk about establishing herself as a serious sportscaster. how she's wants to be a sportscastser since she was a child, and how this situation may define her from here on out. at the end of the day, we have to look at what the hotel did. the hotel owes a legal duty to

its guests for reasonable protection from any criminal acts of a third party. that means to maintain the information, the confidentiality of its guests' information. they didn't do that. and for them to talk about how they're not liable, and this is solely on michael barrett, that's not true. the invasion of her privacy occurred within the hotel and was preventable by the hotel. >> the hotel somehow allowed him to get the room next to her. what happened? how did it happen? do you know? >> yes, basically he went there and tricked them. they say he tricked them into giving the information. guess what, she's a public figure, they placed him in the at jaysent room. it will come -- the adjacent room. it will come down to what the jury says. i think she'll get the liability. it will come down to when they think the $75 million is reasonable. given the circumstances, i find

our hero horses. the case on horses of the old guard served in all army, air force and marine corps full honor funerals performed at arlington national cemetery in arlington, virginia. their mission is to make sure the fallen are laid to rest in a dignified and respectful manner. and now two of those horses are up for adoption. joining us now to tell us more about the caisson platoon is second squad leader staff sergeant steven taylor who joins us from fort myer with some of the caisson horses behind him. staff sergeant, good morning to you. >> good morning. how you guys doing?

>> doing great. thank you very much. having lived in washington and covered the army and the air force and the pentagon down there, i know a little bit about the old guard, and i've been to a number of the funerals at arlington. tell us about when this tradition got started sir? >> about 6 april 1948, and then we've been conducting our mission ever since then. >> and the mission is what? >> basically we'll conduct full honors funerals in arlington national cemetery as we escort our fallen service members to their final resting place in arlington. >> yeah, and how often are funerals performed there at arlington? >> basically each team will conduct four full honors missions every day. between both teams we conduct eight full honors funerals a day. on average about 40 a week, 1700 a year, sir. >> tell us about that horse you got right with you. >> this is clinger right here. he's one of our bigger guys. very lovable horse. a lot of personality. so as you can see, he's getting

there's a new report out now that shows the sad state of the american economy revealing throughout the obama administration, for every dollar we have added to the economy

we've also added $2.30 to our debt. and the forecast for the next couple of years doesn't look any better. let's break down the numbers with peter morici, economist and professor at the university of maryland. good morning to you. >> good morning. >> okay. i wasn't a math major. but that kind of math is going in the wrong direction. >> absolutely. you know the debt's going to start increasing as a share of gdp again. the big problem, america is not growing fast enough. so the government has to borrow to do the things we need. >> well, why isn't the economy growing? >> well, globalization has been kicking heck out of the u.s. economy. we haven't managed it well. we have this huge trade deficit. first we had it with japan. now we have it with china. n workers of demand for the products they make. and those manufacturers they could put out of business, they were big r&d factories. that's why productivity growth is down. >> professor we've got a graphic we're going to put up. since the 1960s on average, growth in the united states has been a little north of 3%.

3.1%. but since the obama administration, it's been at 1.8%. now, is that because of policies of barack obama? or is it just the way the world has changed? >> it's policies of barack obama, and frankly, before him, george w. bush. yes, because they haven't done much about china manipulating the currency and sending lots of exports here. and also, with obama, you know, these regulatory policies that he's imposed, you know, volumes and volumes of regulations, a good example, small banks can't make loans to small businesses. we're actually losing small businesses faster than we're getting new ones started. and you know, they're really dynamos of innovation in ways that are very difficult to measure and see at times. >> you know what professor? as we look at the political landscape right now, there are two candidates who've been talking a lot about trade deficit and how things are rigged. and of course that is bernie sanders and donald trump, right? >> absolutely. this is one of the big appeals

to donald trump. initially started with, you know, frankly white voters that were disenfranchised and angry at the changes in society. but it's broadened out. because a lot of different folks are hurt by this trade deficit. >> right. >> and you know, on sanders' side i'm surprised he didn't do better in south carolina with black voters simply because it's hurting them terribly, an awful lot. they haven't recovered from the financial crisis nearly as well as white americans. and the big trade deficit is depriving them of those manufacturing jobs that help them climb the ladder up, better educate their children and so forth. >> let's see how bernie does tomorrow. it looks like donald trump will do very well. >> yes. >> dr. peter morici joining us today from the university of maryland. sir, thank you very much. >> take care. >> interesting stuff. all right 7:30 -- rather 7:20 here in new york city. chris rock didn't waste any time. he brought up the oscar controversy immediately. >> i'm here at the academy awards.

i'm enjoying watching these very sanctimonious liberals suffer, i also know that it's not good for the country that we go through this. and chris rock, i got to tell you, it was probably the worst performance i've seen in the oscars, i haven't watched it in years but it was definitely one of the ones that i wish i had had a chance to miss. >> really? so you were not impressed with his open? you weren't impressed with that interstitial there with when i went over to compton to talk to people there about what they what movies they saw? >> yeah, you know, look, there are movies that -- many movies for years a lot of people don't watch. he could have gone to areas of missouri, and people would have said the same thing. it has nothing to do with that. these are people who are professionals in their industry that are watching these things. but i think it was more just the this idea of how he was treating hollywood as being so racist, because black people hadn't been nominated. and what was interesting about the oscars this year is they talked about who had won, how many awards they'd won or

hadn't -- had been snubbed like leonardo dicaprio had been nominated this many times. but i think what really got people going was when he did a lot of the things like whoop ki goldberg in the background with the white actress couldn't get her lines out while the black lady was trying to get into the scene. it was so over the top that hollywood was racist. even some of the comments he made about the, you know, the sorority girls and things like that. i think america's really quite sick of it. it was fun to watch the audience's reaction where they had a tepid response to clap. >> kevin, here's the thing, if hollywood didn't come off so condescending to the rest of the world, they know more about the environment, they know more about the planet, they know more about society and the rest of the world just can't catch up to them and then to see them being accused of this and the stats don't lie for the last two years, not one nominee, and you know, i am not a thespian nor do i teach acting classes down the street so i'm not going to be the judge whether they're right

genuine. it's a desperate move. >> a lot of people are saying that, it looks really desperate. >> you can't be mr. nice guy, mr. nice guy and all of a sudden i'm mr. attack guy because someone calls me weak and says you're not a tough guy. it doesn't play well in my opinion. i am my fear's son so i'm going to support him. it is sad to see this is where politics have gone. where you don't have a real record to talk about. rick santorum, i'm for rubio. he's great. what are his accomplishments? oh, i don't know. he hasn't done anything. this is a guy who's running for president. he's a half-term senator. we talk about barack obama that way. he had no experience and never did anything. cruz and rubio the same thing. it's sort of amazing. and i'm a conference saying this. >> your dad for the fact that he's not the establishment politician, they like the fact that he doesn't have any political experience. >> right. >> now when i drive around new york city i see your dad's name on so many different buildings. he's been very successful. he says he's not going to release his tax returns, at least not right now. now you've got some of these politicians like ted cruz who is saying maybe he's not releasing them because he's connected to the mob. what's your reaction? >> it's ridiculous. i mean, first of all, anybody

who knows anything about business realizes tax returns shows you nothing about somebody's net worth and what they've accomplished. i think that is the greatest testament to our father. you drive around new york and see some of the buiiggest buildings in new york. not just here but in nevada, chicago, all over california. what he's done over the course of his life is absolutely exceptional and he'll do that for the country. and listen, he's self-funding his campaign. i mentioned that above. he doesn't need to be running for commander in chief. this is his way of giving back to the country. this country has given him everything, don and i and ivanka and a great family. it's given him an amazing business. he's sick of seeing what's happening to our nation. >> your dad's doing really well. if you look at the map he is really on schedule to win a lot of these states tomorrow. he's probably if the polls are correct, going to go up against hillary clinton. look at the map here. i mean your dad's taking all of these red states right now. if he goes up against hillary this is what she was saying in south carolina over the weekend. i want to get your reaction. >> despite what you hear, we don't need to make america great

again, america has never stopped being great. we do need to make america whole again. instead of building walls, we need to be tearing down barriers. >> she says america is already great. >> well, listen, america is a great country. but it's going down the wrong path. we want to fix it. we want to make it better than ever before. i think the people that my father's reaching out to, they're real, hard-working american people. he's finally giving them a voice again. that's why this is a movement. this isn't a political thing. this is a movement. i mean people are supporting him because they haven't had a voice in such a long time. meaning hard-working americans. the people that built this country. he's giving them that voice. and that's what's so incredible about it. >> you're seeing that at the turnout in polls. in south carolina, they had an awful turnout hardly anybody showed out to the polls. if you look at all the republican states thus far, they've doubled, they've tripled their numbers. the excitement behind the gop right now is incredible. and that's largely due to him and his personality and what he's saying.

>> he's bringing new people into the race. that's the biggest thing. people who haven't voted in 30 years. people who have been totally disenfranchised. the people who historically voted democrats, big union guys. you think they're voting for hillary clinton or donald trump who actually built something. it's going to be historic turnout for the gop. >> now there are a lot of celebrities that don't agree with your dad, that don't think he's going to make america great. listen to this. >> i don't think that's america. i don't want it to be america. maybe it's time for me to move. >> if donald trump is the nominee, i'm open to support anyone while i'm also reserving my -- my ticket to get out of here if he wins. >> if any republican gets nominated i'm going to move to canada with my entire family. >> would you guys miss them if they leave? >> not at all. i'll buy them their airfare. i'll buy their airfare, it's already -- i'm more than happy to ship it. yes, please, throws endorsements

all right 14 minutes before the top of the hour. that woman right there erin andrews is expected to take the stand later today in her civil trial against a nashville marriott hotel, just days after the sportscaster left the courthouse in tears following testimony in her stalking case. >> yep, abby huntsman is here with the latest. >> you guys, the horrible story. a nightmare no one would want to relive. she'll be taking the stand just hours from now. erin andrews is expected to share her emotional and painful story on what it feels like to have your privacy violated. andrews is suing the owners of the national marriott hotel at vanderbilt university for $75 million. back in 2008 michael david barrett called the nashville marriott hotel, asked if andrews was staying there. barrett then booked a room next to hers, rigged the peep hole, secretly videotaped her in the nude and posted the video

online. an attorney says the hotel is mostly to blame for this and she joined us earlier on "fox & friends." here's what she had to say. >> at the end of the day we have to look at what the hotel did. the hotel owes a legal duty to its guests for reasonable protection from any criminal acts of a third party. and that means to maintain the information, the confidentiality, of its guest information and they didn't do that. >> barrett served 2 1/2 years in prison for his crime against andrews. but her father says that does not end the nightmare that she has been living with. and experts say more than 17 million people have watched the illegal nude videos of andrews on websites around the world. and her dad says she has not been the same ever since. guys, it's a horrible story. and obviously it's impacted erin andrews and her entire family. so it's going to be a rough day for her. >> indeed. abby, thank you. meanwhile, two military horses that honored our heroes are looking for a new home on this monday morning. find out how you could actually

platoon horses who have served in arlington national cemetery. they're being retired due to medical reasons. kennedy we have here to my right is a 15-year-old standard bred. he's got a lot of energy. he's a great horse. completely able to be ridden. more of the experienced riders. then we have quincy, to my left, who is very personable. and like i said, also served at arlington national cemetery. very honorable service and we're looking for the best possible home for these horses. >> and what are you looking for in a home? somebody obviously with horse experience able to house them. do you need any financial wherewithal to prove that you can afford it? >> yes, sir. we have a very thorough vetting process for the adoption package. it is currently a seven-page application that the adopters would fill out and then submit to the caisson platoon. each horse is adopted out individually. we're looking for a different -- we're looking for a different characteristics in each adopter. so for kennedy, the adopter would have plenty of riding

experience. he is a little bit temperamental so someone with riding experience, and/or horse training experience would be ideal. quincy on the other hand has disease which basically he's lame in his front teeth so anybody who has worked with the disease or works closely with aer iffier with experience would really be the ideal adopter for quincy. >> lieutenant, have they changed out of their work? is that why they're being adopted? >> no. so these horses are not -- haven't fulfilled their age requirement for caisson platoon. like i said, quincy is only 11 years old. he has a long life ahead of him. kennedy on the other hand is 15. so both pretty young horses who are still able to be trained. so, able to be ridden and worked with. >> and of course, he got the majesty of knowing what they've done and what they've already done for the country so you're going to have a special horse on your hands along with a great cause. thanks so much. >> that's right. >> thank you. where do we find out information

>> okay. the film "the spotlight" taking the biggest award of the night best picture the boston globe movie uncovering scandal in the catholic church. it won over the favorite "the revenant." another big winner brie larson took home best actress for her performance in "the room" and danish girl's alicia vikander won best supporting actress breaking into tears at the podium. you can't forget this supporting actor snub, mark rylance took the oscar over sylvester stallone who was expected to win. brian devastated this morning. >> the trial of the u.s. air force veteran accused of trying to join isis is expected to begin in new york city today. tyrod pew was stopped in an airport in turkey last year allegedly carrying 180 jihadist propaganda videos. prosecutors say they also found a letter on the new jersey man's computer telling his wife that he wanted to join isis. he has pleaded not guilty to the terrorism charges against him. and remember the cruise ship that was badly damaged in a storm earlier this month? well it was now forced to turn

a fox news alert. a pentagon staff sergeant accused of killing a virginia police officer on her very first day is just minutes away from facing a judge. >> prosecutors say ronald hamilton could face the death penalty. kristin fisher is live in washington with more. hey, kristin. >> hey, good morning. this active duty army staff sergeant was assigned to the pentagon could now be facing the death penalty. ronald hamilton is charged with first degree murder of his wife. the officer was on her very first shift. she was sworn in on friday and even welcomed to the department in this post on twitter with a warning, be safe. but the very next day officer guindon and two other officers were responding to a call about a domestic disturbance when they approached the front door, the suspect opened fire.
