you see bernie is fading. took a big, big beating in south carolina. interesting about south carolina. party is getting bigger. i'm just talking to the people in the party. they're confused. top people and senators. a lot of them know me. i'm in politics for a listening time. >> seven month's i no, no. but i don't mean that. behind the scenes. i used to be establishment. write big checks all the time. i was anti-establishment and not taking money and i'm a self funder. doing my own funding which -- i'm going my own. i don't need a big, big portion of people to make the living off politics. i'm working for you in the true sense. we'll make great deals for our country.

it's possibly worse and political campaign contributions and the lobbyists and the special interests control everything. with me, there are no lobbyists or special interests. i do what's right. if we have to -- right? sean, if we have to bid out pharmaceuticals, we are going. saving billions and billions and billions of dollars. we have no bidding on drugs. you know, we're the largest drug purchaser in the world by far. we don't competitively bid. we would save billions. it's simple. the drug companies have all the senators and all the -- everybody's paid off. >> i know a guy that runs a medical practice and people join in wichita, kansas. buy drugs in mass directly from the pharmaceuticals at discounted rates and pay next to nothing. >> the government pays much more. >> tn times. crazy, right? >> honestly, very sad.

the night of the third debate i used every expletive used screaming at the campaign. how would you let him debate that sfwha totally let down the guard. lost the election that night. i knew that. >> the third debate was a total disaster. >> what bothers me about this, sounds like some people, see your success. you are leading in the polls going into tomorrow that they're going to pout, pick up the toys and support hillary. that angers me as a conservative saying, wait a minute. we have been asked to support bob dole and john mccain. they weren't conservative. >> we know sports very well. i know the boxing world very well and had so many boxers and so many matches. when they go in, a champion into the unfriendly territory getting a bigger purse and some other guy's hometown and an unfriendly judge and you know the expression? knock him out. nobody can judge against you. we don't have to worry about conventions or anything else if

i get enough delegates. now, now, what was interesting, because i'm not a fan of karl rove. i think he's terrible. if i win new hampshire by a land slide, nevada by a landslide, we killed everybody as you know including we won the evangelicals, everything, in south carolina, so incredible, i'm watching this guy. almost like -- i jokingly called up a friend of yours at fox. i said, gee, i'm watching fox. do you think i won? won by a landslide. >> you weren't watching my show. >> yours is great. i called up karl rove. just a friend. i'm watching karl rove. he says, donald trump needs 300 points. i said, that sounds reasonable. a friend said that's impossible. here's what's going to happen. 240 or 250 or 260 and everybody thrilled at, he'll say, donald trump had a bad night. somebody said it's impossible for 300. look, you got some bad people on fox and great people and bad people. and you're going to have -- >> wait a minute.

her whole theme and you have lot of hats out there saying it, make america great again. that's a positive statement, not a negative. some people say it's negative. it's totally positive and more positive than when i first came up with it, frankly. i have traveled all over. i mean, i was today in -- i'm going to georgia. all over the place. >> alabama yesterday. >> i was in alabama. we had 35,000 people in alabama. it was the most incredible crowd. biggest crowd of the season. for anybody. far bigger than the bernie crowds. i mean, frankly, getting 60,000 and 70,000 to take a stadium. i don't know if it's necessary. we went t and going to do greater. it's closer one in arkansas but every place we go, we have something special. i'm so impressed with the people of this country. we have unbelievable people. like these people. but we have -- no matter where we go, whether we go to dallas, i went to dallas. mark cuban gave us the arena. no nice.

this decision follows a california judge's ruling ordering apple to create software to hack the iphone used by one of the san bernardino terrorists. i'm robert gray. now back to "hannity." welcome back to "hannity" continuing with 2016 presidential republican front-runner donald trump with us. at valdosta state university. having a good time? i had an argument years ago with vincente fox as president of mexico. he would not recognize illegal immigrant term. he called you a nazi. joe biden apologized for you saying we have to protect the country from drugs and crime. what is your reaction to both of them? >> i watched. he also threw out the f-bomb. if you or i would have done it, it would have been the end of your job. i won't lose my job but would have gone through a big problem.

you understand that. he threw out that word. it was so disgusting. looking at what he was doing, he was indignant that somebody told him -- he's not even the president anymore. but that somebody would tell mexico that you have to start coming along. i get along with mexicans and everything to do with mexico but they have ripped off our country so badly and china and india and japan and vietnam and any other country that you want to talk about. we'll make such great deals. we are going to change those deals. rip those deals up and real trade deals done by carl icahn and smart people in business. >> i've been down to the border for the fox news channel and from the rio grande to san diego. i was in a drug warehouse bigger than this. an office building in san diego, a tunnel from mexico. i was hon horseback, boats,

helicopters. so dangerous. 600,000 crimes in texas alone. why don't people ever tell that side of the story? >> we'll have a real border, build a wall and going to be a serious wall. and it's going to be -- just remember that. you remember i said it. remember this also. mexico, saun, will pay for the wall. these politicians come up. you don't mean mexico's going to pay. i have done unbelievable deals. talk about this deal, that deal. i have done hundreds of deals. no one wants to talk about the great deals. unbelievable -- i filed my financials with the -- nobody believes how good they are. the federal elections. and, you know, i'm very proud of it. you can have -- we will have mexico pay for that wall. and you know what? if i'm wrong about this, you can all come back, another meeting and apologize to you. okay? mexico, a serious, real wall. not a wall they climb up and you see what they do.

star state according to the real clear politics average texas senator is leading donald trump by almost double digits. cruz has 36.2% of the vote. trump with 26.6%. marco rubio 19.2%. joining us with reaction is 2016 republican presidential candidate texas senator ted cruz. senator, good to see you. very important day. you talked a lot leading up to this about the primary. here's my question. you're leading in your home state. senator marco rubio is down by 20. he may come out of tomorrow with no states at all and that the only two people to have won states is you and donald trump. does that mean if a person can't win their own state they have to get out of the race? >> that's a very likely outcome. tomorrow super tuesday is most important day of the entire primary. we are doing very well in texas and running neck and neck in

states across super tuesday. traveling across. oklahoma, arkansas, georgia, alabama. we're seeing very competitive races for super tuesday. i think the likely outcome on wednesday morning is donald trump has a chunk of delegates. we will have a big chunk of delegates ena huge dropoff for everybody else. and, you know, if you look at republican primary voters, 65% of the republican primary voters recognize that donald trump is not the best candidate to go head to head with hillary. donald loses to hillary. if donald is the nominee, not only lose the white house but probably the senate and clobbered up and down the ticket. what we are seeing is conservatives consolidating and uniting behind the campaign and let me say to folks at home f. you're one of the 65% who don't think that donald trump is the best nominee for the general, i ask you to join with us on super tuesday. we are the only campaign that

has beaten donald trump and that beat donald trump on super tuesday f. you don't want him to be the nominee, we have to stand together. splintered, that's how we lose the country and election to hillary. >> i've been -- i asked you this question together last week. i hear your arguments about trump but he leads in the polls. so why is he doing so well? because is it in your view a five-man race or because he's popular? >> listen. i think people are angry, furious with washington. he's a loud voice and a vessel for the anger but the truth is that trump embodies everything you're angry about. he's a deal maker. spent his life cutting deals and we are furious with the deals of washington. the problem of deals in washington isn't they're unwilling to make deals with the democrats but republicans make deals with the democrats every day. and donald trump is promising more of the same. you know, take an issue like

amnesty. when i was leading the opposition to the rubio-summer amnesty bill with millions of americans against amnesty, donald trump was funding the gang of eight rubio-schumer amnesty group. of the eight members, donald supported five of them, gave them over $50,000. you don't get to support pro-amnesty democrats for 40 years and then suddenly wake up and decide you're for securing the border. and so when it comes to what people are angry about -- >> yeah? donald represents the same deal making. >> okay. let me go back to tuesday. i will say in fairness to you you have been a critic of trump for a listening time an you have gone back and forth and i think people understand there's differences between the two of you. but we saw something else with marco rubio at the debate the other night and all weekend long it seems that's all the media wanted to show. marco rubio. how do you interpret, a, what happened at the debate, and b,

is he now flailing? is that a sign of desperation he joined the fight against donald trump? how do you interpret it? >> well, listen. i welcome marco to the fight. i was glad to see it the last debate he finally was willing to take on donald. as you noted, i'm taking him on for a long, long time. and i think we're at a key decision point. super tuesday if you want to stop donald trump, it's got to be super tuesday. and, you know, we saw in the debate, one of the reasons why it's so important, when i was asked a question about religious liberty and the supreme court, donald responded to me, ted, i have known a lot more politicians than you have. he's right. he's been supporting and liberal politicians, democratic politicians for 40 years. he said you have to be willing to compromise, compromise on religious liberty, got to be willing to cut a deal on the supreme court. well, sean, let's tell everyone at home right now. i will not compromise away your

religious liberty. i will not compromise away your second amendment right to keep and bear arms and donald in that debate promised that's exactly what he'd do. he intends to cut a deal with harry reid and chuck schumer on the replacement for justice scalia. if that happens, our basic rights are going away and i would note my two leading competitors, sean, both supporting banning guns. donald trump supported bill clinton's nationwide ban on some of the most popular firearms in america. and marco rubio when he was on the city council in west miami voted to ban guns in city parks. i disagree. i will never support banning guns because i have fought for the second amendment my whole life and i believe in the bill of rights and i don't think americans want another washington deal maker to give in to the lobbyists and take away our liberties and keep

bankrupting our country. >> let's talk about process a little bit more. after super tuesday, now, a lot of states will have taken place. i know that everyone keeps asking the other candidates that haven't won a state, is it your opinion after super tuesday, if you've not won a tate to get out of the race? >> well, listen. each candidate is going to have to make that decision for themselves. i'll tell you. this needs to get to a two-man race and a two-man race, we beat donald trump and handily, by 16 points in the polling. 56-40. i think donald has got a fairly high floor of 20% to 25% that he gets no matter what as he puts it. he could walk out on 5th avenue and shoot someone and that 20% or 25% sticks with him and a low keeling of 35% to 40% and coming out of super tuesday, if you don't have a path to get any delegates, i think each delegate has to ask what am i doing in

this race? let me say to everyone in super tuesday states right now, if you're thinkinging of supporting another candidate, listen, there are good people in this race. people i like and respect but the only chance with a chance of beating donald trump is us and if you want to stop donald, i would ask you stand with us. unite and come together as a party and say, we are not going to nominate a new york city liberal who has supported liberal policies, agrees with hillary clinton on issue after issue after issue. whether it's supporting planned parenthood, whether it is staying neutral between israel and the palestinians or whether it is supporting obama's bailout of wall street, the t.a.r.p. bail yut. on all of those issues, donald trump and hillary clinton agree and all of those i disagree. i think we need a conservative president who stands with the working men and women of this country, not another deal maker to -- there is a reason, sean, that harry reid says donald

pass an impl flat tax abolish the irs and that will unleash small butzs for millions of high paying jobs. pull the epa back, pull the government regulators back. that's going to raise wages. and the other thing we're going to do is secure the border. we're going to end illegal immigration, cut off taxpayer funds for sanctuary cities. end welfare for people here illegally and the effect of that will expand jobs for american citizens and raise pages. we'll have young people coming out of school with two, three, four, five job offers. that's what we can do and we've done it before. we need a president who understands the principles how you allow small businesses to create jobs. and we need a president with the strength to follow through who has a record of following through on his commitments, on liberty. we are going to defend the bill of rights and the constitution. yeah? >> how long does that take?

of religious liberty ends that day. we have seen obama abuse thatçó power. the fourth thing is rip to shreds this iranian nuclear deal. a nuclear iran is the greatest national security threat facing america and a strong commander in chief will change with the way american deal was the world and the fifth thing, the process of moving the american embassy in israel to jerusalem. i will instruct the department of education, common core ends today. that can happen instantly. the next step is pulling back regulations, the epa and pulling back the cfpb, all government regulators. a president can do that immediately. what takes longer is passing legislation in two big legislative initiatives are

repealing every word of obama care and passing a simple flat tax and abolishing the irs. that is where my energy and time is going to be devoted, taking that case to the people and coming out of the general election with a mandate. if we do that, if we repeel obamacare, the economy will explode. if we pass a flat tax, we'll see millions and millions of high paying jobs. get the federal government off the backs of small businesses. we'll see economic growth go through the roof. >> one last foreign policy question. do you see isis as a life long fight radical islamic trim in some form, hezbollah, hamas, you know, is this a life long fight with them? can it be won? how long does that fight take? that is my last question.
