12:15 am
>> if you squint your face up you can see a glimmer of hope for marco rubio or the anti--trump people. when rubio went ballistic against trump he closed the gap in virginia. >> it did work then. >> of course it did. there was an erosion a little bit. >> he did perform better than he was polling. >> there was a falloff before the selection of trump. he didn't do that great compared to five day, seven day before the election. >> now an even bigger story. it is time for. >> on wednesday ben carson told supporters he couldn't see a path forward to becoming the gop nominee. he will stick it out three to six more months. it seems this campaign is coming to an end. carson said he won't be attending the fox news debate and showing a different side. in a video he posted on-line
12:16 am
he started tearing into his haters. >> a message to the haters is this is america. the home of the brave. this is what we should be thinking about. sometimes you will face opposition. sometimes you are going to find people with whom you disagree. what good does it do to hate that person? >> i have never seen him that angry. >> did we add that music? >> no that was his music. >> joanne, what are we going to do without ben carson? >> so many things. >> where do you think his support is going to go? >> everybody says carson is out. i think trump has a lot of votes to pick up. >> i think so. i think a good amount may go to trump. i kind of understand his not
