hello, welcome to justice, and thanks for joining us tonight. there is an insurretion coming. mitt romney just confirmed it. he will be remembered as the one who put us over the enl and awoke a sleeping giant, the silent majority, the american people. the establishment is panicked. it called for a broker's convention where the republican nominee will be selected by party activists and delegates.
9:01 pm
irrespective of the state's choice. the call, to vote for whomever has the best chance of beating donald trump. do you want to broker convention? a primer? whatever we have, one we lose. do we infor to merge to lose the general election, but why? because party leaders want to stop us from falling into the abyss? mitt, most of us working 2 and 3 jobs think we're already in the abyss. the obama abyss. and most of us cared about our safety and security. and you want to prevent us from falling into a recession? we don't believe any of you. that is why outsiders are so strong in both parties and insiders take a brokered

even though we're all, you know insiders in terms of politics and what is going on, campaigns, you know, strategists, i have done it. the public is really into it this time. why? look at the numbers, judge, donald trump animating millions of more, on the democrat side you have a compelling candidacy of bernie sanders, engaging young voters in a way that people didn't think of barack obama to do. is the candidate one of us? or one of them? donald trump is one of us to many people in this country. that is why he's gaining support and people don't hold him to the same standard of consistency. that is why he can be flexible and not get hurt by it and mitt romney is one of them. >> his father ran for president in the 60s. there is nobody more splishment than hillary clinton, mitt

9:12 pm
donald trump need to do to get to 1237 delegates? >> that is the key question. the reality is that there will be no brokered or open convention if donald trump is able to do this. he's building a movement. it's populist and nationalist. but he has to remember the essence of the republican party is built around conservatism and ideas and principles. he cannot alienate that base. so when he skips events like cpac. when insulting president bush's intervention in iraq, it undermines this idea he can be an effective part of the republican conservative movement while effectively expanding it. >> but tony, they need him as much as he needs them. >> that is what he believes. >> the reality is that he has all of the chips right now, right? to move forward, the republican
9:13 pm
party has to unify around a candidate that has that populist state. otherwise, those voters are not going to turn out in the general election. >> do you agree that donald trump is the one who reaches across the aisle, you know, and gets independents, moderates and blue dog democrats? >> they're reagan democrats. i think hillary clinton talks about the african american vote. she has it, but can't win without the blue dog democrats. she wants to think about moving forward. donald trump is the one, bernie sanders is turning up. >> yes. terrible enthusiasm problems. judge, i have tremendous respect for governor romney. he made a big respect. >> i don't respect the man. >> he says donald trump cannot beat hillary clinton.

his wins in nebraska and kansas, hillary clinton took louisiana. with me now, mary anne marsh. good evening, okay. the race is different. there was movement last week, everybody thought hillary was on her way. bernie, where is he coming from? >> he still is. that is the fascinating thing to me tonight. hillary clinton wins louisiana tonight, bernie sanders picked up more states but she now has a 204 delegate lead. if you had in super delegates, there is 6426789 i have to add on the republican side for everything i've heard, ted cruz only cut into donald trump's delegate count by five. so ted cruz and bernie sanders in the same spot that both sides of this can't catch. trump or clinton. it's a huge -- >> listening to you talk you have been convinced that donald trump is going to be the

nominee. so, any movement by ted cruz doesn't impress you at all? >> he has to hit a grand slam, ted cruz has to hit a grand slam for every contest left to catch donald trump. that is not going to happen. >> all right. who would you, democrats, i'm speaking to yous a democrat, who would you face, cruz or donald trump? >> personally, cruz, his views are way outside of the main stream. i think the more the country got to know him, the less they'd like him. donald trump, crossover appeal with blue collar voters, low education voters and low income voters and hillary clinton would have to offset that by picking up independent women, republican women, republican moderate women
9:22 pm
and millennials as well. so you change the face of both part eyes in that respect. >> hillary clinton has been changing her message to try to make it about us, now. to try to get the millennials and young women who aren't connected to her feminist views, her gloria steinham and you know, ryan tagliano, i predicted they had him by short hairs and going to pull. and immunity. i don't give anyone immunity unless they're going to tell me something that is relevant to a criminal investigation. what say you? >> if you were his defense attorney you'd tell him to get the immunity. no matter what. >> i would. >> the issue here, judge, is the political damage system. what is unfortunate is all of the leaks about this.

almost every kind, but never elected a woman. >> see, that is the problem. you don't vote for someone because of their gender. >> no one is, in this case. it added benefit, but most women realize they're the minority in this country when it comes to politics, when it comes to elected office and ceos sitting on boards. you name the measurement, women are still the minority, unfortunately, though we're the majority of the population. and i think most people get that. >> finally, decline in the number of democrats coming out to vote in the primaries. real bad compared to the opposite, especially in kansas tonight, or saturday night with the republicans. how do you get the energy back? >> well, it is a concern. but i think when you come to general election and have a choice between two candidates and given how everybody feels about this and how engaged people are, people are going to
9:25 pm
turn out, period, end of sentence. so it's the job of both candidates to get those voters to vote for them. i think when you have the choice between a republican and democrat, you're going to see everybody turn out in droves. i'm not worried about the democratic turnout. i will say if i it is a trump-clinton race, very, very close. very. >> mary anne marsh, thank you for being with us. >> thank you, judge, nice to see you. >> next up, conservative radio host larry elder weighs in on today's election news and results. stay with us.

romney, jeb bush. the public are sick of it. > there was a time when the american public was in awe of the kennedys, you know? and the bushes and clintons. all of a sudden, we've had it. do you know what i think it is? i think we're hurting and scared. i think we have money problems and i think it's the deficit. there is something happening. >> i think part of it has to do within the 70s big business entered politics and did nothing for the common man. it did great for the big businessmen in bed with the politicians. that is why donald trump's message is resonating with the populist voters. right now, they don't see a big difference between jeb bush and hillary clinton. >> what happened in the 90s? bill clinton saw a big trend with big business so he became one of them, you had the center of the right and left merge together, create what we now deem as the establishment. special interests and everyone

10:12 pm
donald trump need to do to get to 1237 delegates? >> that is the key question. the reality is that there will be no brokered or open convention if donald trump is able to do this. he's building a movement. it's populist and nationalist. but he has to remember the essence of the republican party is built around conservatism and ideas and principles. he cannot alienate that base. so when he skips events like cpac. when insulting president bush's intervention in iraq, it undermines this idea he can be an effective part of the republican conservative movement while effectively expanding it. >> but tony, they need him as much as he needs them. >> that is what he believes. >> the reality is that he has all of the chips right now, right? to move forward, the republican
10:13 pm
party has to unify around a candidate that has that populist state. otherwise, those voters are not going to turn out in the general election. >> do you agree that donald trump is the one who reaches across the aisle, you know, and gets independents, moderates and blue dog democrats? >> they're reagan democrats. i think hillary clinton talks about the african american vote. she has it, but can't win without the blue dog democrats. she wants to think about moving forward. donald trump is the one, bernie sanders is turning up. >> yes. terrible enthusiasm problems. judge, i have tremendous respect for governor romney. he made a big respect. >> i don't respect the man. >> he says donald trump cannot beat hillary clinton.

>> looks like the victories we have won so far, we hope early in double digit victories which means we've won in new hampshire, in oklahoma, in colorado, in minnesota, in vermont, and today, we hope, it will be in kansas, and nebraska. and that tells me that the people of this country are tired of establishment politics and establishment economics. >> bernie sanders speaking after
10:20 pm
his wins in nebraska and kansas, hillary clinton took louisiana. with me now, mary anne marsh. good evening, okay. the race is different. there was movement last week, everybody thought hillary was on her way. bernie, where is he coming from? >> he still is. that is the fascinating thing to me tonight. hillary clinton wins louisiana tonight, bernie sanders picked up more states but she now has a 204 delegate lead. if you had in super delegates, there is 6426789 i have to add on the republican side for everything i've heard, ted cruz only cut into donald trump's delegate count by five. so ted cruz and bernie sanders in the same spot that both sides of this can't catch. trump or clinton. it's a huge -- >> listening to you talk you have been convinced that donald trump is going to be the

nominee. so, any movement by ted cruz doesn't impress you at all? >> he has to hit a grand slam, ted cruz has to hit a grand slam for every contest left to catch donald trump. that is not going to happen. >> all right. who would you, democrats, i'm speaking to yous a democrat, who would you face, cruz or donald trump? >> personally, cruz, his views are way outside of the main stream. i think the more the country got to know him, the less they'd like him. donald trump, crossover appeal with blue collar voters, low education voters and low income voters and hillary clinton would have to offset that by picking up independent women, republican women, republican moderate women and millennials as well.
10:22 pm
so you change the face of both part eyes in that respect. >> hillary clinton has been changing her message to try to make it about us, now. to try to get the millennials and young women who aren't connected to her feminist views, her gloria steinham and you know, ryan tagliano, i predicted they had him by short hairs and going to pull. and immunity. i don't give anyone immunity unless they're going to tell me something that is relevant to a criminal investigation. what say you? >> if you were his defense attorney you'd tell him to get the immunity. no matter what. >> i would. >> the issue here, judge, is the political damage system. what is unfortunate is all of the leaks about this.
10:23 pm
so it has hurt hillary clinton politically. at the end of this, i don't think there is any indictment or criminal wrong doing. were mistakes made, sure? but i don't think there was anymore more than. >> do you know what i think? it seems to me a plea deal might be worked out. once i heard this thing with immunity and brian tagliano, there are a lot of smart people here, but going forward we know what the electorate is infuriated with run of the mill politicians and you see ted cruz has not an outsider but one of the politicians. isn't hillary that? >> if you're a woman running for office, you know that is like, you were the first woman to win that position in westchester county. and it's hard. we've elected most forms of men,
10:24 pm
almost every kind, but never elected a woman. >> see, that is the problem. you don't vote for someone because of their gender. >> no one is, in this case. it added benefit, but most women realize they're the minority in this country when it comes to politics, when it comes to elected office and ceos sitting on boards. you name the measurement, women are still the minority, unfortunately, though we're the majority of the population. and i think most people get that. >> finally, decline in the number of democrats coming out to vote in the primaries. real bad compared to the opposite, especially in kansas tonight, or saturday night with the republicans. how do you get the energy back? >> well, it is a concern. but i think when you come to general election and have a choice between two candidates and given how everybody feels about this and how engaged people are, people are going to
10:25 pm
turn out, period, end of sentence. so it's the job of both candidates to get those voters to vote for them. i think when you have the choice between a republican and democrat, you're going to see everybody turn out in droves. i'm not worried about the democratic turnout. i will say if i it is a trump-clinton race, very, very close. very. >> mary anne marsh, thank you for being with us. >> thank you, judge, nice to see you. >> next up, conservative radio host larry elder weighs in on today's election news and results. stay with us. .
