severe weather. the entire storm system spreading across the great lakes to louisiana continues marching eastward. there's a lot of moisture with the storm system. another problem will be how much heavy rain we are expecting from the storm. keep in mind over the last couple of weeks the entire regionsy cross the gulf coast and the u.s. will be receiving heavy rain and dealing with flooding. we are looking at another storm system coming in yet again and bringing in the threat once again across states like mississippi and alabama. locally we could receive more than 6 inches of rainfall in some of the areas out here. that's why the threat for flash flooding is in place again. it won't be until later in the weekend when the storm eventually slides off the east coast. reports of severe weather yesterday across parts of the plains including the tornado across the tulsa area. temperatures are relatively mild. 60's already early this morning.
