10 points in the latest polls by the fox business network. and if cruz sweeps all of wisconsin's 42 delegates, trump's path to securing the nomination outright will become much more difficult. last night on "the o'reilly factor" cruz said trump's recent string of attacks and controversies show he isf not ready to be commander and chief. >> it just shows that donald is desperate and scared. that's the pattern donald follows over and over again. that when he is in trouble, he starts yelling. he starts screaming. he starts insulting. he starts cursing. >> and trump is still dealing with the controversies of this last week over abortion and he said this on twitter. he said i will be in wisconsin until the election. jobs, trade, and immigration will be big factors. i will bring jobs back home, make great deals. on the democratic side though, hillary clinton has been wanting to get the primary race over with for months now, but bernie sanders continues to make that a challenge. in wisconsin, he is currently beating clinton by

5 points in the latest fox business network polls. and if he wins the badger state on# tuesday he will have beaten clinton in six of the last seven democratic contest and ensured that that primary isn't going to be over any time soon. back to y'all. >> disengaged this week landing at the airport with the family. and i pick up the newspaper, the daily news headlines, walk through the airport. there was cnn on the airport. it was doomsday for donald trump. it was as if this was the end of his candidacy. >> how many times have we seen this? remember when he made the comments about john mccain i don't like people who don't get caught. remember when he made the comment about mexicans and muslim ban all this and that he has been teflon trump. is this going to be any different. >> i actually think trump had a really bad week. a series of bad performances. i think it's his fault. on the other hand, the coverage of it is so gleefully nasty. is there anybody who is covering this race objectively or even trying? i mean, i have never seen a

candidate hated by the press like trump is hit6 haded. they really hate him and they hate him because they think he is a moral criminal of some kind. >> don't you think also that you are starting to see more scrutiny because the field is winnowing and it is starting to focus more on policy? >> for sure. i think it's totally legitimate to ask people policy questions and i don't think trump did a good job answering them. i'm not flacking for trump. reporters in this race hate trump and they're not even trying to cloak that they are totally out in the open about it. >> we have seen this before as you mentioned. all through the summer. we saw everything with john mccain and all through the fall we you saw all of these things. newt gingrich said look, don't write him ofú we have seen this all before and you sort of right him off at your own peril. listen. >> none of us have gotten him right all year. i mean, the number of times people, including me have said boy, that was really-now that one is going to stop him and he rolled right on. i want to suggest to you the

welcome back. german authorities are on alert following isis's claim, their call to arms for extremist muslims there to carry out a brussels style attack. this comes as belgium police claim there are dozens of isis sympathizers working at brussels airport. joining us is distinguished chair of military theory marine corps university and our friend dr. sebastian nice to see you this morning. what did you make of this claim out of the brussels airport? >> well, it's very, very disturbing but surprise us. so, this is what the jihadis are going to want to do. we have reports in the united states that more than 70 people working for tsa

>> you would think we would learn our lesson after each controversy he only benefited from it i think this time is a little bit different though. we are starting to see him have a base of support but a ceiling to that base. in wisconsin, his support has stayed pretty flat over the past month and ted cruz and john kasich have gained. so i think this, you know,úñ comes ahead of wisconsin, all this controversy and it also comes as the delegate count is on. i mean, the delegate hunt, i should say. ted cruz is going to be in north dakota this weekend trying to scoop up delegates. they are all in this race. it's very competitive. >> john, i'm sure you saw what newt gingrich said yeah, it's bad, but we have called thent race over before and we were wrong. is this different this moment? >> no. i think the speaker is right. that granted he was off message this weekend. think about it. you had brussels. had you things going on where the president was in cuba doing the wave while americans were being killed in brussels and the candidate who should have been talking about that should have been trump and he was off message. he was too busy attacking

cruz. if he gets back to his themes of making america great again and strengthening us on the economy and defense and security, he will go up again in the polls. he has a lot support for that reason. proves one thing we wrote for national review online this week the one guy who could beat trump is trump when he is off message. that's his vulnerability. >> he is his own crep continue cryptonite. he has a lot of support relatively speaking. doesn't that point out the resonance of his message if you aim your message at the middle class which he is doing it kind of works? >> yeah. agree with what you are saying, carson. what it continues to show here is wisconsin, a state that was designed for him to do well in, and he does, you know, he alienates then voters by going after scott walker, a very popular governor there. he is completely unaware of

two conservative radio hosts that he gets on who are part of the not donald trump, you know, movement. >> never trump. >> never trump, right. it just continues. i think the problem that he has is that he is just tone deaf when it comes to politics. i have worked on political campaigns for almost 13 years, 15 years. the thing that we would never do is allow as a staffh' allow our candidate to go into a state and not understand the politics. >> that's true. because the campaigns you worked on had staffers. caitlin, you saw the former first lady -- former secretary of state hillary clinton at an event recently and she was asked by a self-described activist about taking money from the fossil fuel industry, whatever that is here was her response. >>

>> boo who, poor me. i'm a victim. they are being mean to me. is this a good posture for her. >> clinton very much wants this race to be over and for understandable reasons. look at what is happening on the republican side. the last thing that democrats want right now is to have this division of their own. sanders is not going to leave the race and doesn't have a reason to. he just pulled in $44 million in the past month. is he going to stay in this race. this issue in particular is something important to his constituency. is he going to keep on. >>hwso $44 million, that's unbelievable you do kind of feel for hillary. it's a coronation. she deserves it it's her turn. she is going to be the first female president and how dare this elderly guy who believes things get in her way. >> she is talking about the women vote and talking about trump. we did that national poll she has 58% unfavorable with women voters. i mean, 90% of republican women don't like her. two thirds of independent

fox business polling has him 10 points behind senator ted cruz there. >> that's right. and so what's behind the dip for the donald? and what will it take to win over midwesterners here to discuss is political analyst scott rasmussen. he is the answer of stark.com. thanks for being with us. >> thanks for having me here. >> take a look at the numbers. g.o.p. primary. cruz has 42%. trump at 32%. kasich at 19%. what do you make of this? why? >> look, this is the first primary since marco rubio and everybody else dropped out. in arizona they were technically out but there was so much early voting that noncandidates got 18% of the vote. what we are see is donald trump has a solid base of support. but it's not growing. there is a couple of other things neex unique to wisconsin, perhaps, governor scott walker and talk radio host in the state have been very supportive of ted cruz. very opposed to donald trump. so, we have an anti-trump rally. and it's going to really interesting on tuesday. >> trump's in trouble in wisconsin. ask this an anomaly or the

beginning of a trend? >> that's the big question. if it's the beginning of a trend and ted cruz will try and claim there is a lot of momentum behind him. there are delegates being selected this week in north dakota. is he likely to pick up a lot of those before new york votes we have final delegate selection in wyoming and colorado. ted cruz should do well there. if ted cruz can say this is the new normal. then he has a real shot at stopping donald trump and becoming the republican nominee. big questiong though, will other republican leaders do what scott walker has done and be so strongly supportive of ted cruz? >> and how much will it matter? it appears to be really helping him in wisconsin. do you think nikki hagel marco rubio in south carolina how much did that help them? >> in south carolina that was earlier in the process that was a lot more noise. a lot more candidates. remember, wisconsin is a state that's having its election all by itself. nothing else for two weeks ahead of time and only three candidates left. so people have been hearing from the individual candidates more. they have heard from scott

walker more. because there has not been this other noise around the entire process. >> because this process has been so close and so bitterly contested, we are learning a lot about it. is there -- how direct is the link between the number of votes a person gets and the number of delegates he gets? >> how democratic is this process? >> it's a little bit like that line from the pirates of the caribbean. the votes are really not setting rules. they are more guidelines. that's a rough approximation. unfortunately we have a politicalá process that is not designed the way james madison envisioned it to refine and enlarge public opinion. we have a series of rules and gimmicks that can be manipulated by political leaders. right now there is a problem. if trump does not get to 1237, what we're likely to see is another fight at the convention, a different level between ted cruz forces who say hey i'm the outsider who has done best. i have won all these votes and establishment republicans who are saying no.

since then, this is been discredited. this doctor has in fact lost his medical license because some of the data of fraudulent. still, this exists like an urban legend, that theory continues on. there's also been studies that show that children who have had the vaccine who have not have the vaccine have similar rates of autism. as a parent, if my child does have autism, i'd want to the know what the cause is, but i cannot make up facts and not sit there and say, science is wrong based upon a testimony. >> what about the argument of rolling back the clock? it's happening, we stopped measles and now we're seeing the outbreaks again. >> not that we've stopped measles, again, let's take a look at the outbreak of measles that got so much attention last year in disneyland. just like in nevada county, at disneyland it was a philippine strain of measles, the american vaccine does not protect against

that strikes me as an ominous sign, doesn't mean he'll get the nomination, but he shouldn't be, iing this late in the game. >> swe saw clinton respond to the fact that sanders has won several states over the past several weeks. he's staying in this race, just raised $44 million, this is a huge haul. he's not going anywhere. any time soon. and we saw the clinton campaign become frustrated with the fact that sanders is not only staying in the race, but really holding her feet to the fire on the issues that his voters care about. so this is going to be a more prolonged race than they had anticipated for. clinton, of course, is still leading in the delegate count, super delegates are concerned on the democratic side. they argue that bernie sanders is winning space, but not delegates. >> of course it's totally rigged. how offensive is this that bernie sanders dare run against her when she's, you know, got a coronation under way and she's a woman, it's her turn and how dare you get voters involved in this pros. i can see why she's offended.
