>> yes, absolutely. >> do you want to apologize for that? >> also ahead, jesse watters on words that offend some college students. >> whoa, whoa,ñs watch your mouth. >> caution, you are about to enter the no spin zone. the factor begins right now. ♪ ♪ >> i'm bill o'reilly. thank for watching us tonight. new york values. that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. first off, brand new monmouth poll about the new york primary on april 19th right now hometown boy donald trump leads with 52%. john kasich 25%. senator ted cruz 17%. that holds up, mr. trump will get most of the new york delegates and he will once again have momentum. this disadvantage for mr. cruz is the new york values debate. you will remember that in january the senator said

this. >> everyone understands that the values in new york city are socially liberal or proabortion or pro-gay marriage. focus around money and the media. now, donald trump is using that statement toirs5ñ hammer td cruz. >> do you remember during the debate when he started lecturing me on new york values, like we're no good. [crowd booing] >> and i have got this guy standing over there looking at me, talking about new york values with scorn in his face. >> now, the truth is cruz is right. new york city values are very left wing. the rest of the state lines unfairly conservative although not at the level of senator cruz. however, as in many state, new yorkers are sensitive: folks. look at me. so the senator has to overcome his initial new york values comments, valid or not. now i, your humble

correspondent, many a born and raised new yorker i have lived all over the country. denver, dallas, boston and miami. new york is a special kind of a place. especially because there are 20 million people in the big apple metropolitan area. with that many folks you have to be more aggressive even to get a hot dog. some around the country consider that aggressiveness to be rude. on the political front, the democratic party firmly in control of new york state very similar to california. even though donald trump is likely to win the republican primary here, he will have a very tough time in new york state up against hillary clinton in the general election. if he gets there. as talking points reported last night, new york is a machine state. and the democrat machine dominates. as for ted cruz. he is a conservative texan who now]vn jaded new yorkers that he is not denigrating them simply pointing out donald trump's past history of giving donations to people lick hillary clinton and governor andrew cuomo. but as we pointed out, mr. trump did that as a real

estate guy and in the city business people have to spread the money around if they want to get anything done. talking points believes that donald trump is now a conservative, although not nearly as right wing as mr. cruz is.p bottom line, if ted cruz wants to keep donald trump below 50% in new york, he has got a lot of hard work to do. and that's the memo. now for the top story senator ted cruz already on the job, he joins us from brooklyn. so, am i making any mistakes in my analysis, senator? >> well, bill, you know, i think people across new york and across the country know exactly what new york values means and those are the values of liberal democratic politicians who have been hammering this state. i have been campaigning across new york and people are stopping me literally every day and safe i know exactly what you meant, and liberal democrats are doing to us, the people of new york. they are the ones suffering for it. and as you noted, donald trump has been funding it year after year after year.

>> not as a politician. i give trump some advice when he comes on here although i guess he is mad at me now. i'm not sure. i will give you advice. do you know what you should do hold a press conference in penn station. take a look at what's happened to that place under the liberal mayor bill de blasio. but, the perception of new yorkers and almost 10,000 people showed up to hear trump speak at bethpage on long island. perception is you are a texas guy, you are a bible belt guy, you don't understand us up here. you know, that's what is going around. >> let me tell you. yesterday i was in the bronx and i had a meetin hispanic and african-american pastors who were -- it was a tremendous gathering and it was interesting. it was hosted by a democratic state senator named reuben diaz. elected democrat representing the bronx and the new york state senate. he brought up new york values. he said you know what? i know exactly what you meant by

he brought up that andrew cuomo, the governor said if you are pro-levee, if you support traditional marriage, if you believe in the second amendment, there is no place for you in new york state. and senator diaz, a democrat, he said i'm a democrat but my democratic governor said there is no place for me as a pastor. that's the sort of liberal intolerance. >> right. but trump doesn't subscribe to any of that. >> of course he does, he funded it. >> you can have two lives. >> no, bill, bill. >> yeah. >> he wrote two checks to hillary clinton's presidential campaign. he didn't have to do that to build -- to do any real'e estate. he did that -- >> -- know how to play the game here. >> no, that's not true. i know lots of businessmen who have never given a check to hillary clinton. >> you are more conservative than trump. >> bill, it's actually -- bill, it's actually not a question of being more conservative or not. if you are fed up with the corruption of washington. >> yeah. >> donald trump and hillary clinton are flip sides of the same coin.

truth serum segment tonights as we reported two weeks ago the union saying that agents have been ordered by washington not to hold illegal aliens after they catch them coming over the border. the department of homeland security denies that, says it's untrue. so we sent fox news correspondent eric shawn down to nogalis, arizona to find out wheat really going on. >> thousands cross the border from mexico in nogalis, arizona, legally every day. those here say some illegal immigrants are being allow to do stay. >> it's very frustrating because we are out here doing our job. >> a veteran border patrol agent in arizona and vice president of the agent's union, the national border patrol council. he and his union charge the

obama administration has s. blatantly freeing illegal immigrants, thousands of them, instead of kicking them out of the country. the union, which backs donald trump, claims agents are under orders from the agency headquarters in washington to release illegals by not giving them what's called notice to appear summonses that should send them straight to a deportation judge. >> what happens now when they do not get an nta. >> what's worse he says those could include criminals because agents only have to rely only on their word that they have lived here for at least two years and have never been convicted. >> we don't know who we are releasing and we don't know what they're capable of. >> you can't find out if they have committed crimes in mexico? >> you can ask them but no one is going to tell. >> you if they murdered somebody in mexico? >> you can't find out murdered. you can't find out if they have molested minors. you can't find out if they have raped. >> they shouldn't be releasing anyone.

that's what commissioner told congress and the department of homeland security has called the i quote: inaccurate and belied by the facts. there is no catch and release policy in the opposite is true. the agency says arrests are up 25% this year and more than 150,000 illegals have been deported to mexico and central america in the last six months. but activists on the ground tell us the border patrol is releasing the undocumented but it is not known to what extent. this border patrol memo from a high ranking official obtained by the national review bluntly lays it out. quoted, there will be limited instances where we will issue an nta and it goes on to tell agents if the suspect is not a threat to u.s. security, quote: the subject is deemed to be a nonpriority. >> did you know about a notice to appear. >> no. >> at the border in nogales, most people didn't want to talk about it? >> no. >> illegals live in the shadows like miguel. he told me has been here for more than a decade.
