the rnc is publically pushing back against those allegations. >> clearly not. you know, look, all of the candidates have the rules of the game. there were no complaints about that system, at least in colorado. i have to respond, though, if the party of which i am the chairman of is getting attacked especially when it is not. this is going to blow over. i believe this is some frustration that has bubbled up. the rules are not being changed. >> don't even need to reach 1237 delegates to receive the nomination. >> if donald trump exceeds 1100 votes he will become the nominee even though he may not have 1237. if he gets less than 1,000 delegates, then i think we are looking at a contested convention that could go on for many, many days. >> the trump campaign also

thousands of trump supporters showed up for the event. waiting outside both before and after with more than 300 protestors and you can see things got heated. police lined up to keep the two sides apart. that's when several were pepper sprayed by some of the protestors. all of this as trump is carrying on a battle against his own party complaining about the delegate process saying it is rigged against them. >> when i went into the race, which was in the middle of june, after that they changed the whole thing in colorado. i would have won in colorado. instead they had the ar kay an system that nobody understands. my people, my delegates went there. they wouldn't put them on the list. >> one hinted he may need 1100 not 1237 and argued unfounded delegates would make up the difference. the rnc at the same time is
