tomorrow on lunch break pick up your phone or head to your computer 1 o'clock p.m. lunch with greta. i will be going life and answering questions that you
12:01 am
12:02 am
it was things you wouldn't say to a man and a colleague tells the times at trump tower he called me honey bunch. he is truly a monster.
12:03 am
dennis, you are shaking your head. can you believe donald trump likes bikinis? >> that invalidates his presidency of its own. it was 4,600 words and the most interesting thing uh said from how non-sensical. the comments are by the "new york times" readers over well mingly -- overwhelmingly mocking readers. i was stunned. when you come back i have another revelation. i have one big one. >> good. guy, look -- >> hang on. if there is a big revelation we should hear it. >> it is up to you. >> you know i will come back to him anyway. guy, what do you think? what are we saying? >> it is a hit piece. the problem is the woman has come out to say they have taken what i said out of context. they have spun it and excluded the things that were pleasant
12:04 am
stuff she had said about him. and the "new york times" reporters said, well, you know, we talked to so many people over so many weeks or days, 50 interviews. but you chose to lead with this woman and these examples and if you didn't do her justice and took her out of context or made it seem worse than it was, that's on you. especially if she comes out immediately and contridicts it. she said he was a gentleman and i loved donald trump. this is typical "new york times" hit piece on a republican. >> it really seems like a set up , ebony, but it seems like this is the kind of thing that trump can -- hillary is running. do you remember hillary has a husband who has problems in this arena? >> this is a win for donald trump. to den any's point i am a "new york times" subscriber and i laughed because i couldn't believe that was -- it took like 600 words for us to talk
12:05 am
about a woman voluntarily trying on a whim suit? swimsuit? i am confused. plus i have extensive pageant background and a lot of my friends competed and met donald trump at the miss usa pageant. there were like 51 wows. i really don't know -- to gay's point, not saying trump doesn't have bad issues, but none were clarified in that piece and it underminds the time's credibility. it was disappointing. >> if if you could tell women to try on -- this is a good question for you. >> i have never been invited to a pool party. i will never feel bad for anybody who has a complaint about what went on at a pool party which is something i was never invited to. i assume this is what people did is ask people to get a bathing suit. what is funny is if you look at what trump has done to
12:06 am
women, those are examples of the most appropriate things bill clinton has done to women. it would literally be calling me hon. the bees of bill cline -- the best of bill clinton is the worst of trump. >> if they invited you and they asked you to wear a specific bathing suit and they said wow. >> they would say wow. they absolutely would say wow. 100%. they would. they would say wow. the "new york times" would not care. >> what else did you discover from this? >> this is a totally serious point. the article actually shows that he has given women positions of power unparalleled to the real estate world industry. he has promoted them to the highest position of anyone in their industry, and thisy say that -- the father is -- >> no, the father when he hired this woman, are you sure you want to do that? >> yes, exactly.
12:07 am
i'm sorry, that's right. so the article is schizophrenic in that way. this is what occurred to me. the authors, because they probably went to graduate school and don't think clearly. i do think that's the case generally. they think if the man regards women in a sexual way and even as a sex object that men are incapable of respecting her intelligence. it is one or the other and it is not true. my proof by the way, gay men regard men as sexual objects. they don't hate men. the fact that you regard a group in a sexual way doesn't mean you hate them or think they are incapable of great things. >> that is so important what you are talking about. >> i have to talk about this as a woman from the south it is fantastic to receive compliments. when i first moved to new york i was at work and a gentleman goes you have on a pretty
12:08 am
dress. can i say that? i was like, my goodness. where are we in mark that a man cannot even compliment a woman on her appearance without the fear of being deemed a sexist, but it is all good. there is nothing wrong with that. >> how about you have a pretty dress on. can i sketch that? >> that is different. >> i like to draw. >> no, but it's true. i really think that we need to be very clear. sexual harassment is a real thing. i represented clients with those cases. that's serious and that is different than complimenting and acknowledging an attractive woman. >> and donald trump comes from another generation. he is almost 70. the fact that in 1993 he was calling women honey at trump tower, i am not a trump fan and i made that clear, and this is nothing. in the scheme of things it is meant to hurt trump and it helps him. >> when i grew up women were sex objects and -- remember.

12:24 am
>> but is this a message tailored to donald trump or the same guy obama has been attacking his entire political career. i believe we have a picture of him. that's it. this is the only man obama has ever really gone after, the strong man republican who refuses to see the common sense facts that are in front of his face. >> when our leader express a disdain for facts while actual experts are dismissed as they lead us, then we've got a problem. >> you do have a problem. your experts are elitist. they refuse to entertain the idea that regular people considered their policies rejected them. they insist they know better and they know how to treat us as opponents who are children who refuse to take our medicine. we don't want the medicine. we know the side effects. we know the side effects. >> can i comment on that?
12:25 am
>> first of all -- it is despicable what he said. this man has a disdain for fact that is infamous. he has exacerbated the lie of, quote, unquote, ferguson as if a white policeman killed a black , innocent young man because he was black. blacks did not indict the policeman because blacks, nationalist blacks understood that the policeman was in fact in jeopardy for his life in a struggle with a much bigger young man than he. every time the president says ferguson he shows disdain for facts. >> there it is. well, a guy, look, what good does -- so someone like dennis can bring up that, his disdain for fact. >> i would add obamacare and the iran deal. it is a long list. >> whatever you bring up for

12:36 am
>> thank you. >> wendal pierce arrested. he has been charged and not convicted. it is just allegations. are you saying the whole thing may be bumped. >> or it could be legit. i wasn't there. he may get convicted or he may have put his hand on that lady. >> i am a little shocked nobody else made it. tom, this all happened at 3:30 a.m. and you said they should have been at home watching "red eye" except it was 3:30 on saturday night/sunday morning. we are not on. >> he should have been around for the 2:00 airing of "red eye." >> it was 3:30. he probably watched from 2:00 to 3:00 and then got so angry and got into a fight. dennis you asked why rutgerss asked pierce to get a commencement address. he does a lot of charity work and does a lot of work in new orleans.
12:37 am
why does a commencement speaker need to be someone political some -- someone political? >> i didn't give anyone political. >> why does it have to be an actor? >> if the actor has a reputation of saying wise things it is a nonissue. i truly believe that. you know more. i wasn't reacting about him. i was reacting to the notion of getting famous people solely because they are famous. >> i guess i am reacting to the idea that the commencement speech has to be somehow important. >> i think it should be important. it is the final words and you want to leave people as they go to college. >> i think you underestimate the amount of drinking that goes on. >> i probably do. >> guy, you said it was a late night drunken situation that got out of hand. >> are you speaking from

experience? >> from time to time. it never comes to blows or it shouldn't. >> france is considering de programming radical muslims. you assume they are not brought together where they can throw grenades. it sound like it can be like having an open bar at the betty ford center. >> that's the danger obviously. what did i say and what did you agree with? it was a double negative. >> not without merit. >> look, it is the government running it and the french government running it. >> part of this includes sending citizens to the camps, citizens who have not been charged with a crime. >> that's a very interesting point. i was under the assumption that these were minors sent by their parent.
12:39 am
otherwise it is problematic. >> guy, you mentioned civil liberty concerns. would you accept this in america? >> i would have to look at more details on the program. if you have someone who is all of the red flags flying about this kid and maybe a propensity toward the jihadist problem began do on-line he -- jihadist propaganda and that is troubling. you can't put him in prison and you can't have him sent away to some sort of detention camp. especially if it is a u.s. citizen. what do you do, wait around and hope you can catch him before he hops on the plane to istanbul? >> these places, these re-education camps or whatever you call them, people are monitored day and night for 10 months while wiring special uniforms. >> not unlike the president in someways. you have to get some parental
