different and harder. the first thing hillary clinton has to do is get rid of bernie sanders. now she has to deal with her email problem. an inspector general concluded that she was way out of bounds and out of line when she used her private server for state department work and her changes and explanations are continuing to evolve. remember at first she set up the server because she didn't want to carry two devices. she didn't want government email to be put in with her personal email. now she's saying -- i was never comfortable using a computer, so she wasn't comfortable using a desktop email, only comfortable with blackberry computers. >> meanwhileny a deposition for judicial watch, it was revealed yesterday that apparently hillary clinton had a standalone computer in her office that did not have a password on it. that opens you up to hacking.

memorial for people who have died, for example, in suicides or from illness, and this is done by -- developed by combat veterans, all of them have 3, 5, 8 turns in iraq and afghanistan. they are now current cops and firemen. they put a memorial up in boston, massachusetts, the most expensive piece of property in the city all for families. this organization for seven years has done nothing but take care of families of the fallen. there's nothing like it in the country, steve, and the reason it works because of these great combat veterans who cared enough about families in massachusetts to do this. this memorial is being dedicated this morning and it's a week long ceremony for the families. it's spectacular. >> it's not just the memorial there. you touched on it. it's a program to help the vets and their families. help them with what? >> everything. when you lose -- so many guys, people are affected differently, if you are a mother, sister,

peak winds estimated to be 180 miles per hour and this is what that does to your home or your structures that get impacted wi that tornado. i want to share with you some of the belongings that we have been encountering. these are people's lives that have been completely destroyed by a tornado in a matter of seconds. here what we have is a bookshelf or storage item. farther into the debris. you can see a lamp thrown off. this structure was very sturdy. it was made out of concrete blocks. you have brick that was completely destroyed by the power of this tornado. also a chair farther off in the distance. so again just people's lives here thrown. and behind me, we have a house, i want to share with you because it really is a spectacular scene to see that a home was left completely intact by this tornado. it just missed it by inches, yet this structure right here was completely destroyed and that's a lot of what we have been seeing here as we have been

touring the path of destruction this tornado left behind. it's estimated to be on the ground for 26 miles. we have able to speak to the national weather service crews that were here yesterday surveying the damage. they explained how they were able to determine the strength of the tornado through engineering and determining how the home was built and these structures that were destroyed. today, we do have a risk for additional severe weather. it's not as high as it was yesterday, but i do want to mention that the threat, when this tornado ripped through, this ef 4 across portions of kansas, the threat wasn't even that high either. it takes one storm. we've had a lot of rain as well with all of the severe weather. we have standing water here, so insult to injury, people's belongings, they are left with clean-up and now dealing with flooding across this region. looking at the risk for not only damaging winds, large hail, more tornadoes across places like

over this. hey, john. >> reporter: brian, ainsley, steve, good morning to you. if you're saying minute, how did he get to 1,239 there hasn't been any primaries since tuesday in washington, a number of the unbound delegates we saw a bunch of those in north dakota decided to throw in with trump and pledged to support him during the first ballot at the convention in july. the fact that he's over 1,237 does not yet make him the official nominee by the way. it just means he'll probably get it on the first ballot. it doesn't become official until the convention. still five primaries to go here on june 7th including california. despite all that, donald trump making a full pivot to the general election in a press conference in bismarck, north dakota, taking aim at hillary clinton over the inspector general's report saying she did not follow the rules when its came to her e-mail server and pushing back hard against president obama who yesterday at the g7 conference in japan left behind the time honored tradition of politics ending at the waterer's edge, he was critical of trump saying that

world leaders were rattled by the prospect of him becoming president and that he was more concerned with tweets and headlines than what's right for the country. i asked mr. trump if he'd like to respond and he did. here's what he said. >> because he's the president who's done a horrible job. everybody understands that. he's a president who's allowed many of these countries to totally take advantage of him. and us unfortunately. and he's got to say something. it's unusual that every time he has a press conference he's talking about me. >> reporter: and yesterday on instagram donald trump posted a photograph saying that he was celebrating his win of 1,237 delegates having a little mcdonald's, french fries and a hamburger on his $100 million jet. and people are saying, oh, come on, that was staged. i flew from st. louis, missouri, to chicago with him earlier this year. he was actually eating a wendy's hamburger and french fries. so brian, ainsley, steve, he

does that all the time. >> he loves it. >> on the road. >> he likes fast planes and fast food. what can you do? drive through. >> i guess when you have that much money you have a mcdonald's on board? how do you get them to send money? >> usually fast food place near every airport. pretty handy. i think it was on monday night hillary clinton announced that she would not be debating bernie sanders on fox. even though she had promised to do that. and then the next morning on this program we talked about it would be a brilliant stroke of genius if donald trump were to offer up the opportunity to either debate hillary or bernie. well, now ever since then, you know what? it's starting to percolate. maybe donald will debate bernie. listen to this. >> i said i'd love to debate him, but i want a lot of money to be put up for charity. i understand the television business very well. i think it would get very high ratings. it should be in a big arena somewhere. bernie is not going to win, but i'd debate him anyway if they

wanted to put up money for charity. we'll see. we have had a couple of calls from the networks already. >> you made it possible for us to have a very interesting debate. >> that's right. >> about two guys who look at the world very, very differently. >> oh, boy, do you guys look it a differently. that would be some debate. i think it might be one of the most highest rated events in television history. >> i think the goal would have to have it in some big stadium here in california. >> right. jimmy kimmel brought it up -- he brought it up to donald trump and said, yeah, for the right money i'll do it. he urges bernie sanders to run as an independent. something else going on. the democrats are furious at bernie sanders for doing this. joe manchin said this is b.s. he didn't use the initials. he said i told you he was never even a democrat. another congressman said this is a huge distraction. he's hurting the party. >> because it makes hillary look bad.

she doesn't want to debate or be one for the people. >> right, she didn't want to debate bernie, but trump does. what does that say? >> right. >> she thinks it's a big joke. according to reuters, fox news has confirmed the network is trying to host a forum with trump and sanders. hope hicks with the trump campaign told reuters no formal plans for a debate, but jeff weaver with the sanders campaign says a few discussions between the campaigns have happened. and they say we hope that he, donald trump, will not chicken out. we hope that donald trump has the courage to get on stage now that he said he would. however, donald trump has made one caveat and that is he'd like to raise millions of dollars for a women's charity. >> let's move on and let's talk about something else that matters a lot -- hillary clinton's damn e-mails to quote bernie sanders who doesn't think it matters. she channeled her inner donald trump and tried to do a bunch of interviews saying i would do things differently, but i didn't

do anything illegal and i look forward to getting this behind me. while admitting she made a mistake in doing it. first she says -- setting up my server i didn't want to mix my personal with my work stuff. then she was saying, oh, i only wanted to carry around one device and now she's saying i'm not comfortable using a computer. that's why i wanted to use my black b blackberry which is unthinkable. i knew she'd get to i'm 68, i'm a grandmother, i don't know how to use the technology. >> well, her staff refused to talk to the inspector general who came out with the report a few days ago. hillary commented on what was found in that report and this is what she has to say. >> after this report came out last night, he kept saying this was not good. he called you crooked hillary repeatedly. what do you say to that? >> well, i think the report is consistent with what i have been saying. that the use of personal e-mail was a practice by other secretary of states and the

rules were not clarified until after i had left. as i have said many times if i could do it over again, i would have done it differently. but i think it's all out there. >> the rules were clarified before she became secretary of state. i mean, it was to the point where they told her, you know, you want to have a blackberry. that was the only way she could get her e-mails because she couldn't figure out how to run a computer, which did not have a pass word. they said if you want to use a blackberry, you can't use it in your suite of offices. they made arrangements, they found an office away from hers that she could do it. it was to the point where she really -- you know, she knew the rules going in. and as the i.g. report showed us all, she knew the rules, she broke them. had she asked for permission she would have been denied. >> even when her staff questioned it, they were told be quiet. his benefits were cut off so he called the v.a.

you were looking for your benefits, didn't come. you called them up and they said, hey, who are you? because we thought that guy was dead. >> yeah. it took about five minutes to convince them that i really wasn't. and we found out that -- actually, the person that died was in arizona. we had first and last names were the same, but other than that, there was nothing else similar. >> okay. so they were -- i know you did work through your congressman david jolly to restore the benefits. but then a couple of months later, they stopped again. they thought you were dead again. >> and i owed them $20,000 for back pay. the -- given, just the system failed. it -- whatever they're doing doesn't really work. that was supposed to be correct

and of course it wasn't. i have been assured it was corrected. >> let's hope it was. apparently they changed their protocol on figuring out whether somebody is dead. they send something -- a confirmation to the family and then somebody will be declared officially dead in the eyes of the v.a. but, you know, they weren't doing that before, right? >> that's supposed to be what they do. but their 30-day period there when they'll wait for a respo e response, and then they get -- then they get it back and they don't do anything within 30 days. i mean, things move at the speed of darkness at the v.a. and you just can't -- i don't see how that program is going the work. >> you know, there are probably a lot of people out there -- i mean, they declared -- stopped payments for over 4,000 people. there are probably a lot of people out there, mike, who simply don't know where to turn.

good morning. 43 minutes after the hour. a couple of news headlines to bring you right now. chilling new video of the shooting at the rapper concert. look at the time that the five shots were fired. the bullets sending more than 1,000 fans running for their lives. four people were shot including the gunman up. the bodyguard was the only one to die. this is what doctors feared. an antibiotic resistant superbug is here in the united states. a 49-year-old pennsylvania woman has been diagnosed with a rare form of e. coli disease of sorts. she is expected to be okay. doctors say they were able to catch it in time, but health officials warning this could be the end to antibiotics as we know them if this isn't contained. well, kanook the crow is striking once again. picking up the steak knife -- look at this right there after a

shooting. he was chased by police until he finally gave up that knife. he has a history of tampering with evidence and is identified by police where a bright orange tag on his leg. oh, my goodness, how funny. the bird had more than 13,000 followers on his facebook page. i'll see you back here in a little bit. >> a bird has a facebook page, crazy. meanwhile, we switch gears. now on to the fox news alert on a friday. a roof ripped off a house as a tornado tore through parts of texas. >> over in kansas, railroad tracks twisted. >> maria molina is live in abilene where we know the ef-4 tornado touched down there. good morning, maria. >> good morning. that's right. the ef-4 tornado had maximum peak winds of 180 miles per hour here north of abilene, kansas. it was on the ground for about 90 minutes and left 26 miles of destruction. here we have one of the homes

that was destroyed by the tornado. the only thing left standing is this concrete wall. that's pretty much all that's left. so the tornado so powerful it actually tore apart the wall, threw away that dresser over there and just caused a lot of devastation here. we have been surveying the damage as well. you can see other scenes like behind me we have a tree that was cut in half. and also some brick that was destroyed from this home. actually, a chimney. we can actually go ahead and pan to that. you can see the chimney that was also destroyed by the power of this tornado here. over here, we were analyzing this set because we're not really sure where it came from. it was just thrown over here by the tornado. left the power pole intact and you can see the shed on part of the road here. with saw a foundation further down the road, so possibly it came from there, but we're not sure again. so a lot of people are left now

to pick up the pieces across this area where so much destruction occurred in a matter of seconds. their lives were just changed forever by the force of this tornado. unfortunately, throughout the day today we do anticipate more severe weather out here across portions of kansas, oklahoma, even into texas. possibility of large hail and even more tornadoes. i want to point something else out because we have a lot of standing water out here mixed in with the debris. the reason for that is that yesterday we had another round of severe weather out here and it produced a lot of heavy rain. a big concern is flash flooding that could be ongoing throughout the day today as the storms continue to fire up. let's head over to you in new york. >> all right, maria, north of abilene as they pick up the pieces. coming up on a friday, he was killed in combat two days before christmas. three years later, his wife erin is still healing, but now his story and others will now live in a special way. her story in the -- and the new

door. the wife of sergeant daniel vasselian, erin. erin, when dan appeared at your door, what did he say? >> i don't think he said much at first. i have to be in an uncomfortable situation, going to someone's else. but he wanted me to know there was support there for me. you know, i was lost at that time. i didn't know where to turn or who to talk to and if there was anything out there that could support me. so he came in and told me all about massachusetts fallen heros and about the other gold star families and how it's just one big community, and you know, they offer so much support for us. it was great. he kind of swooped in and just when i needed him. >> erin, i know your husband's third deployment, he deployed to afghanistan and died two days before christmas. i can only imagine what that was like for you guys. how did this organization help you with the healing? >> the biggest thing for me was

being able to bond with other gold star families. having someone die for their country you have kind of a pool of pride and pain, so you kind of feel like you need someone who has been there, who has gone through the same thing because you're so proud of that person. but there's an underlying -- you know, pain and heartache. so you can't really -- you can't heal without talking to someone else, who knows what you have been through. >> so dan in addition to the memorial there in downtown boston, you also provide the services to folks like erin. what sort of services? >> absolutely. i mean, one of the biggest things is bringing the families and throughout the year we bring different parts of the families together, whether it's wives or siblings, mothers, fathers. that's important because, one,

it's creating this connection internally with the organization. but it's also -- it gives us an understanding of what they need, whatever pops up, whether it's legal or financial issues. for us to have the ability to be there 24/7 not only for our families but also our returning veterans it goes to show you the type of mission that we've really created. in having the memorial as the anchor point makes it more bittersweet. we're not only there to support them 24/7, but we'll honor and remember their sacrifices forever once this memorial gets dedicated at 11:00 a.m. today. >> you said that dan felt like this was going to be different, and sadly it was. he lost his life. what should we know about your husband? >> he loved serving his country. he loved being a marine above anything. he did say that he felt differently, but he also said that if anything was going to

could be fighting for your life. >> tell us about when you got out of the military. >> i sustained injuries in afghanistan. i was blown up by multiple ieds and i sustained traumatic brain injury. and i was no longer fit for duty. i thought that by moving home and being around family and people who knew me prior to my service that would be the most beneficial. -- beneficial step to make. >> what was that like? >> it was hard. i found cap star, i told myself if there was any shot at success for me in life, in the civilian world, this was going to be my chance. >> what did your parents or friends and family said to you about what this job has done for you? >> it's a complete 180. >> the thing about the service
