headquarters i'm kelly wright. here's what's happening on this memorial day. iraqi forces have begun a direct assault to recapture the isis held city of fallujah. backed by paramilitary troops and support from the u.s. led coalition was first launched about a week ago. it's believed tens of thousands of civilians are still trapped in the city which has been in isis control for more than two years. fallujah is one of the terror groups last major strongholds in iraq. the white house placed on lockdown earlier today after someone threw an october over the fence. a hazardous materials response unit called to the scene. determined the item didn't pose a threat. the suspect was arrested and an all-clear has been given. it happened shortly after president obama returned from memorial day's observance at arlington national cemetery. i'm kelly wright now back to our "watters world" special. ♪ ♪ >> miller time.
