8:00 pm
we'll debate that tomorrow night. that is all the time we have left this evening. we'll see you back here tomorrow. i got this new pen with a light on it. tomorrow night. thanks for being with us.
8:01 pm
>> one of the worst recessions in the nation. eight years is more than enough time, though, the powers that be in washington get the country
8:02 pm
back on the fast track but it hasn't happened. no matter what propaganda you hear. >> by almost every economic method, america is better off than when i came here at the beginning of my presidency. that is the truth. >> not exactly. median income for american families up less than 1% on the president's watch. nearly 14 million americans have stopped looking for work. and the gross domestic product that measures the health of the american economy has risen less than 3% every year since 2009. if that holds true, this year, and it will, mr. obama will go down in history as the first modern president to not produce a gdp of more than 3% in any year of his administration. so that is the fact, jack.
8:03 pm
and no amount of sting will change it. americans understand it's tougher to prosper these days and it should be. >> i want to be sure we get small businesses starting and growing in america again. we have stalled out. i was surprised to see that when i began to dig into it. i turns out we're not producing as many small businesses as we used to and a recent world study said that we're 46 in the world in the difficulty to start a small business. >> that is all true. everything mrs. clinton said is true. the reason? high taxes on business and expensive regulations. yet, secretary clinton continues to say she'll carry on the policies of barack obama which mandated taxes and an avalanche
8:04 pm
of regulation. very puzzling. the president says he wants to cut the corporate tax rate. it is a little late. is it not? donald trump has the economic field pretty much all to himself. all polls say americans are not happy with the economic problem. the truth is that china may not be intimidated into a better trade deal with the usa. mexico is not going to pay for a $1 billion wall, which they believe is insulting. and bringing jobs back to america is achievable, it will require a big carrot as well as a big stick. but that is where donald trump will either live or die as a president candidate. the situation so complicated
8:05 pm
voters cannot predict they know what is in their bank account. president obama not helped out much. that is a in new york city. >> i think you're on the right track. here is the advice i'd give you. rather than trying to run as a person that will follow the policies of barack obama, i agree the president delivered a mediocre performance. don't go back to president obama. point to george bush as being the president presiding over the collapse. but you're right. go back to the 1990s and administration of husband, bill clinton. everyone agrees the president was in a prosperous idea. >> running on the no stol
8:06 pm
gentleman is right. and all the stuff that her husband did in trade agreements. it's going to be hard to do that. what do you say? >> i say give credit where credit is due. the economic expansion was started over ronald reagan. >> we care about trump versus hillary. >> bill clinton with massive economic poall he did was take reagan's -- >> no one cares about what happened 30 years ago. >> every voter cares about it. the median household income is down. >> that is what we just reported. >> median net worth is down. wages are flat. so things seem to be getting
8:07 pm
great for wall street. >> let's try to, after the blast from the past, oldies but goodies. >> this jacket was in the 90s. >> that looks like a salvation army thing. >> in miami. >> doesn't trump have an advantage? >> he has an advantage if he spells out a program that makes sense. you put in the protection trade policies that he's advocating? it will not help him. >> no. it's going to raise prices. why not this? they're giving away money. >> why not start your project
8:08 pm
now? why not rebuild highways and bridges? >> and what do you say about that? >> i say this is the worst because you're doing it on the backs of people. the reason why interest rates are 0 is because the feds -- >> what about -- >> and if geraldo riviera or bill o'reilly or someone's grandmother has a bond they're not getting paid anything. >> that is not going to change. interest rates are low. why not launch this big infrastructure campaign and hire people who are here legally? >> who is paying for it? >> the government. >> the government has been borrowing money. >> on top of $19 trillion what? another $19 trillion?
8:09 pm
>> yes. you do this also. as a republican, i get that but what you do is why not build bridges? >> you run a company. you build bridges. i will give you the right to build a bridge from here to saginaw. you can charge tolls and make money back. >> of course. >> now, who is on the highway? >> so private ties. >> yes. >> i'm on board with that. so you're saying is that trump has an advantage here. hillary clinton is locked into unions and obama legacy and democratic talking points. but trump can go anywhere he wants. >> he set up expectations about china and mexico. he's going to punish them. >> you know how he can change his mind. >> i hope he says i is more
8:10 pm
important things to build a wall, let me fix the bridge. >> maybe he can private ties the wall. >> there you go. >> interest. >> mexico pays for it. knock $0.50 off the barrel of oil. then, you pay them $0.50 less. 2 million a day. >> they're not going to sell you oil. >> they have to. >> stop. they're not paying for it. >> next on the run down, far left loons are saying violence is acceptable at trump rallies. then, later, wattters world. up ahead.

8:14 pm
held a rally that evolved into violence. >> he grabbed my trump sign and started following me. >> hey! >> what? >> there are allegations the police department did not do enough and the mayor of san jose was darrell yikt in his duties. >> the order to stand down is ridiculous. i don't have the authority to give a stand down order.
8:15 pm
and i would never give that order anyway. >> joining us now from louisville is john jonathan hunt. what is the update on at rest? >> three more arrests that brings a total to six in san jose saying they're still looking for others and 16 years old, that doesn't reflect what we we saw. and a lot of those causing violence, a lot of those involved in the attacks on trump supporters were not out of high school, bill. >> now, we saw a bunch of mexican flags and it looks like
8:16 pm
what they had in common is that they're all under 20 years old. is that correct? >> yes. the vast majority were under 20. many of them under 18. and it's similar to what we've seen in other violent protests in albuquerque, new mexico and costa mesa. >> what about the cops? did they just let the crowd run wild? was it similar in san jose? >> well, look. from what i saw is that cops were in that 200 yard area. as some left the rally, some were headed to the hotel.
8:17 pm
musts mrooes put a line between the protestors. what sea saw is that is where the police stop. outside of the marriott. hundreds went around to a different street where others were trying to get back to the garages and that is where the violence took place. >> i see. >> i can't be sure, but i would say it was at least ten, perhaps 15 minutes we saw fights on the streets, people being attacked and not a single police officer for i would say ten minutes. >> the chief acknowledges he didn't have enough officers to control the violence.
8:18 pm
250 should be enough. it doesn't look like a conspiracy. would you say that is reasonable? >> we have to take them at their word there was no conspiracy. they were outnumbered and decided to draw a line in one place. they can't simply send officers out. >> it should have more, though. >> absolutely. >> thank you very much. directly ared, ccnn distorting my analysis and stacy dash says she's been punished in the marketplace because she's conservative. reports after these messages. the truth about my analysis of the trump judge controversy. monday, i've said this. >> he's a tough guy. a mexico sin drug cartel, how far, the judge belongs to a group called san diego la raza work. it's not associated with radical group, but confusion is understandable. because of that, mr. trump believes the judge may be biassed against him. the candidate has taken a strong stance against illegal immigration.
8:23 pm
summing up the case is political to some extent. >> that is the main point. that is civil litigation crossed into the presidential campaign. therefore, all involved in this case must be considerate of that. joining us our fox news correspondents. i was brought up in their discussion in the morning. what is the point of that? >> the point is that they said this is unwarranted attack on an independent judiciary. and you said this is a political case with a political component because of a law firm. you've been pointing at that law firm because they've reportedly donated $675,000 to the clintons for three speeches. two for bill clinton.
8:24 pm
we have found top lawyers in this case have given thousands of dollars to hillary's campaign. >> here is what -- >> there is no evidence of major donations. >> chris cuomo used to work here at fox. here is what he said with david gregory. >> in an interview, you can say i think the judge should step down because of the perception of future ruling. that is based on a racist attitude. so african american judges can't deal with the united states? there is no merit on its case. >> that is all they wanted to talk about. did they bring in the political aspect? >> not really. they're talking about the fact that --
8:25 pm
>> did they mention the judge is or was a member of this la razza attorney's association? >> they have in the past. >> so this is all about their beliefs and they use me to say i'm asking the judge to recuse himself on the base of race. but i'm not -- >> what does the law firm have to do with the judge? in terms of anything? >> it doesn't have anything to do. look. the judge is under no mandate to recuse himself. he hasn't done anything wrong. it's not about race for me. it's about this is now evolved into a presidential campaign. there has to be all doubt has to be removed. that is my opinion.
8:26 pm
they left out the political component. >> they did. >> let's go to washington. we asked shannon to look at the chinese provocations. china is provoking the usa and has been since when? >> well, we've got an incident. there was a jet that closed in on a u.s. recognizance plane there flying over international waters, somewhere in that u.s. planes are allowed to fly. this still -- never got close to 100 feet. >> 100 feet? that is darned close. >> i know. i wouldn't want to see that. but it happened in may. >> that is what they call buzzing. so the chinese planes buzzed the merp planes. there has been a series of these things. >> this has been going on for a long time. in may there were two jets
8:27 pm
flying recognizance, the u.s. says there is no contested space there. and there were two of them involving ships and jets and building islands that don't exist and we know russians are doing the same thing because they know that the usa is allowing that stuff. >> thank you. plenty more ahead. stacy dash says her career has been harmed because she is a conservative. also, jesse waters and sanders. >> stay tuned for those reports.
