grown at all. she hasn't had any increase in her popularity. trump has been hammered by the jj saying a lot of republicans are working for the hillary campaign, even though they claim to be republicans. that has taken some toll. on the question of favorability, honesty, trustworthiness, hillary clinton is a known commodity and people don't like her. people now, when trump gives his speech next week, they will learn more about how he will handle her in this election and that will be fascinating to watch. >> the more important polls, let's be honest, it has to be the electoral votes that matter. i know it is not a big lead but trump leads in florida. dead even in pennsylvania. other states that normally would be blowout states, democrats beating republicans seem to be in play, like connecticut, new jersey. >> massachusetts. >> exactly. i think it's too early to tell.

i don't think anyone can make a prediction with certainty. >> these are fun snapshots. it's fun to dig in to this question. one of the questions that was funny is when the candidate comes on tv, do you turn up the volume or turn down the volume? turns out that most people turn down the volume for hillary, sean. i know that is a shocker. they turn up the volume, more turn up the volume for trump. i like those questions. you are right. in the end, this is a campaign about status quo versus reform and trump said i'm going to reform washington. i'm going to turn the table upside down on trade and immigration spending. i think that frightens republicans who are in the establishment. they are really frightened, sean, they are not frightened he will lose. they are frightened he's going to win and their influence is diminished. >> it is interesting. she never got to the magic

based on what does the american people think of the two people, hillary clinton actually polls higher with approval than disapproval compared to donald trump. he doesn't have an e-mail server issue or an investigation. >> the inspector general of the state department says she's lying. if you look at her words and compare it to what they say, they are saying she's lying. >> so are we saying the american public would not vote for any politician that may have not been 100% honest or are we concerned there was is a criminal issue, an issue of negligence or recklessness, poor judgment or an actual investigation that would looed to an indictment? i don't think so. >> should i answer that? >> yes, please. >> it's all of those issues and negligence is part of the criminal statute. there's an understanding that hillary clinton created this mini legal community to defend

welcome back to "hannity." following vooilt protests outside of a donald trump rally in san jose last week, shocking video emerged of trump supporters getting harassed and threaten and assaulted by left wing agitators. one particularly disturbing clip shows a young boy, watch him

there, being chased by an aeningry mob of protesters through the streets of san jose, eventually tackled and thrown to the ground. that's not all. another egregious video. this shows a female trump supporters getting pelted with eggs and other projectiles outside of a rally. of course you can see the angry mob with mexican flags they are waving. joining us is the father of the boy you saw chased and the attorney for the woman who got pelted with the eggs and a trump delegate. welcome both of you. let me talk about your son. how old is your son? >> he's 14. >> you were with him at the rally. you were being harassed yourself. i'm watching your son now. he's running what appears like for his life away from an angry mob. they are pursuing. high pursuit. he runs and tries to talk to the fire department. then the crosses the street.

he's being chased by all of these guys. he's running very fast. i give him a lot of credit and he is tackled on the grass by this thug and other people try to hit him there and apparently got cold cocked by a couple of these mob people. tell us from your perspective what happened here and where were the police and why didn't the fire department help him? i would think they would want to? >> i don't know where the police were. they were pushing people off in a different direction. my son and i were walking to the car after the rally and they stole his hat and i tried to get the hat back and when i had my back turned one individual hit my son in the back of the head and my son walked away and they chased him. and meanwhile, i'm accosted and having trump signs ripped out of my hands and spit on and everything else. >> it's got to have been a scary thing. your son got hit how many times? >> he got hit twice in the back

of his head. he had two big lumps on his head at the end of the night. >> i have to give him credit. you can't fightening a angry mob. i train in martial arts and wouldn't fight a mob that big. you are going to get killed. >> after he got tackled here and got tackled pretty hard and some guy hit him with an orange thing, was he safe after that, where were the police? >> he was half way to the police line and ran to the police line. after he crossed the police line they asked if he was okay and that was it. the police had other things to worry about, i don't know. i seen him go through the police line. i tried to get to the police line and check on his well being and they wouldn't let me through. i said that's my son and the guy said get back, get back. >> the police saw the mob was chasing him. why didn't they break ranks? do you think they were told to stand down?

that's what i have heard from numerous people, even people who are police officers, they were told to let the protesters protest. these weren't protesters. these were people looking for a fight. there was no one chasing my son trying to exercise his first amendment rights. >> what did the fire department do to him? >> he tried to jump on the truck as you can see him on the videos. they rolled up the window and drove off. >> wow. >> i don't know where they were headed or what they were doing. >> this is chilling. to see how big the mob is chasing your son is scary. if i can go to miss dylan, we saw the video over and over again. your client is surrounded by a mob. you can see mexican flags waved in her face. looks like somebody walks up at point-blank range and hits her with an egg. is that all that happened. >> i was at the event and i can tell you what craig described is accurate.

there are 250 police officers lined up there. they stayed in formation and didn't do a thing to help the people being attacked. she had trump jersey on. i think that is one of the things that caught the attention of this mob of criminals. they pursued her. they chased her. they chased her to the doors of the marriott. >> did she get punched as well, hit. >> she got shoved and several things thrown at her. the egg is one thing. she was frightened for her life. she tried to get in to me marriott and they shut the doors from the inside, too. >> i i want to give you an opportunity to debunk this. one piece said she was taunting the mob. i don't see that at all. did that happen? >> not in that video. they started it and she probably talked back like saying, hey, go away. she did interact with them before the egg was thrown. >> what did you make -- her opinion is that the san jose mayor, who blamed trump for this which is insane but you believe

the police were told to stand down and told not to protect the people being attacked? >> i do believe that. that's what i witnessed with my own two eyes. i was with my husband at the event an i'm shocked at his comments and finally the police are beginning to investigate it but they haven't, to my knowledge, gotten to the ring leaders which is why we have a lawyer involved in that now. >> is it more than that. would you feel the city failed in their job to protect the citizens by not being in that location when they knew something was happening? >> it is worse than that. they actually directed the victims in to the line of the mob and towards danger. that is clearly a civil rights violation under the civil rights act. the civil right in question is our right to assembly and free speech. everybody in that crowd was a victim of a civil rights violation and then on top of that -- >> your client wants this mae orr to resign and be out of office, correct?

>> she signed one of those petitions for that as well as many other people in the group. i think there are also organizers of this mob that should be held legally liable for what happened there. >> craig, are you going to follow up on any of the issues? you feel the police didn't come to the defense of your son? do you believe you are aware of what was happening? what is your plan of action. >> the police chief and mayor need to be held accountable for their actions. what they did is unconscionable. we were directed through the mob. that's the worst part. one thing to let people protest but to make others go through the protest. force them to. we weren't allowed to go away from the protest. >> every cop i know goes against their instincts. they see something like that happening, their instinct is to help. the only reason for them not doing that is if they were told not to do so. i don't have any evidence to suggest that. do either of you have any evidence. >> i have heard from people who

made $21.6 million just from giving speeches in just under two years between 2013 and 2015. her husband made even more than that. over the past several years, hillary and bill have reportedly spent thousands of dollars on, well, pa lashal summer rentals in new york. the house they stayed in rents at $50,000 a week. lifestyles of the rich and famous. joining us with reaction, we have fox news contributor mercedes and penny lee democratic strategist. this does not sound like a person who's in touch with average everyday americans, they fly around on their private jet, they don't -- she hasn't driven a car in 20 years. nice life. >> very nice life. especially after hillary clinton tried to be relatable, sean, when she said they were dead
