introduced 400 restrictions on abortions. they have cut some women off from their only health care provider and on a national level. republicans in congress have been willing to shut down the entire federal government over planned parent hood funding. >> have you ever noticed that the same politicians that are against sex education, are also against policies that make it easy tore raise a child like paid family leave. they are for limited government

anywhere except when the choice was women's rights. well had, i am here today, to tell you we need to be just as determined as they are. we need to defend planned parent hood against partis an attacks. if right- wing politicians cared about protecting women's health as they say they would do, they would join me in calling for more federal funding for planned parent hood. we need to fight back gaents erosion of reproductive rights in the federal, state and local levels and ensure that patients and staff can walk in health centers without harrassment or violence.

[applause] so all of this includes tough new ethic's rules to restore dignity of the office of secretary of state, which it hasn't had for a while. among the worst deal maker. if you have seen the iran deal, it is one of the worst i have seen negotiated. we will protect the right of churches to speak their minds on political matters, free from intimidation. [applause] new immigration controls to come us safe from radical islamic terrorism. [applause]

here is what hillary clinton would do to our country. she will appoint radical judges that legislate from the bench and override congress, and the will of the people will mean nothing, nothing. her judges will abolish the second amendment and destroy the rule of law. she wants to a polish the second amendment and i will tell you, the national rifle association and the nra, two weeks endorsed donald trump. [applause] so i couldn't be happier. and i think it is the earliest endorsement that they have given to a presidential candidate. they are great people. great people. she will keep in obama care in place which puts medical decisions in the hands of government. not good. obama care we will repeal and

replace. [applause] she will restrict religious freedom with government mandates. she will push for federal funding of abortion on demand up until the moment of birth. which is where she is as you know. she will undermine the wages of working people with uncontrolled immigration, creating poverty and income insecurity. hillary clinton's wall street agenda will crush working families. she will put bureaucrats, not parents in charge of our lives and our children's education, can't have it. she will be trapping kids in failing schools. she will plunge our inner cities into deeper poverty if that is possible. hillary's agenda of taxation. she wants to raise your taxes big-league. get used to it, hear.

it she wants to raise your tax its tremendously. regulation. and bureaucracy and government control and open board ares have economically destroyed our are inner cities. her policys will be a crushing blow to all poor people in this country. her education policies, her economic policies and immigration policies and her trade policies will plunge our poor african-american, hispanic communities into turmoil and even worse despair. believe me, you look at what is going on. the democrat party has run the scoreboard and the police department and the city council and the mayor's offices in most of our inner cities. they have run congressional offices. they have horribly failed in almost every single community.

in fact, you could actually say in every community. i am going to turn things around. [applause] hillary clinton has jeopardized, totally jeopardized national security by the putting her e-mailses on a private server, all to hide her corrupt dealings. this is the reason she did it, folks, to hide corrupt dealings. she's under criminal investigation announced by the white house. i mean, it is criminal investigation. [applause] first time of a president of the united states endorsed somebody under criminal investigation. interesting. she even appointed to the national security board someone with no national security

experience instead, he was a donor, a recent donor to hillary clinton's campaign. and also gave as much as 250,$000 to his foundation. where did he come from? he made a contribution on 250,000. and he is all of the sudden on a vital and important board. this position dealt with nuclear weapons and top secret clearance. bill and hillary clinton made $150 million giving speeches to special interest groups since 2001. that is a lot of money. these donors own hillary clinton. they own her. and bernie sanders was right about that. i have to tell you. if you work, it is true.

[applause] and the bottom line, i will be working for you. i spent 55 million running on my money. and i don't know, not easy but i just 55 million of my in the primaries. other people spent many times that and didn't do so well. i work for you. i am working for you you andin am doing this i want to put back and give back to our country. together, friends, we will chart a new optimistic course for america. we will put america first. when you look at our deals, our military deals and trade deals. we don't put america first. i don't think anybody negotiating the deals knows what they are doing and i don't think they care about america being

first. i care and you care, and that's the way it is going to be. [applause] and that's a big, big part of why i am challenging hillary clinton today, to replace her support for increased refugee admissions, we have to do it and for a new job's program for the inner cities. we have to take care of the people that are here. [applause] we have to temporarily stop this hole thing with what is going on with refugees and we don't know where they come from but we have to take a rest and time out. and we have to use the money to take care of our poorest americans and work with them so they can come out of this horrible situation that they are in. the room as a security escorts them out. it was interesting. he was very subdued and seemed to be using's teleprompter which he is encouraged to do. he gets off message when he wing its off his head. and in the meantime, we have breaking news to bring you. we'll check in with shepherd smith. >> a serious situation unfolding in dallas, texas. this is love field, dallas love field. there has been a shooting and reports of an officer shot a man. this happened not inside of the airport but outside baggage claims. officers stopping anybody from going into the airport. this is dallas love field, the smaller of the two airports there and video of the incident

[gunshots] get down, get down. look at the original scene. and again for viewers just tuning in. this is it breaking news from dallas, texas at dallas love field. that video came to us from instagram from brian armstrong. and that sums up the pictures that we know from wfaan in dallas. they have shut the airport down and no one is allowed in or for that matter out. it is our understanding that the suspect of what we don't yet know, but the suspect was shot and is no longer able to cause the harm they feared and for now, massive interruptions in dallas love field. we have a dallas newsroom there

and our reporter is manning it this afternoon. stunning video to watch, what happened? >> reporter: it is incredible nowadays with iphones and smart phones, we can get dramatic video and it appears that is what happened here. there was a passenger that captured the shootout on camera. dallas love field not terribly far from downtown. and so we with are heading to the airport now. and working the phones and trying to talk to the city of dallas aviation spokesperson and in addition to the dallas police at any point and they are tight lipped. they are trying to get to the scene themselves before they release the information of what is happening and how it escalated and started this morning. it is it a friday afternoon, it is it that time of year when

school is letting out and a lot of people are no doubt heading to the airports on a friday afternoon to get away for the weekend. dallas love field, a smaller boutique airport. dfw airport is the main airport that serves north texas. but dallas love field is more of a boutique airport and only southwest airlines primarily is there. american does a few. it is a busy airport and you can see people running for their lives when shots rang out in the video, shepherd. >> indeed they were. i mentioned brian armstrong that shot the video and quoting him. i got off of the plane at dallas love field and this is what i came out to. and you can use this footage. the local cbs station, we were

stopped by passengers warns not to go inside. witnesses tell me dallas pd- officer shot someone outside. cars. no passengers going through tsa there. and somebody get the martin fen e-mail, my computers are frozen. i want to go back to this video. imagine if you can see what this is. this is the area where you come in before you go into the entry hall to do your luggage. now, watch. >> get back! get down! down! >> really --

according to local cbs station, there was one on a loud speaker, a law enforcement officer say ing and i quote, if you are a witness to this incident, please come down and talk to me. we're moving as quickly as possible. we're trying to take care of what we can. we'll get out of here and let you know as soon as possible. the situation now is dallas police have just informed was one person has been transported to a local hospital. we presume that's the suspect. the big question now, this person was suspected of doing what. we're confident there's a very good answer to that question, but this has happened so quickly, we just don't know what it is. whatever it was, it was outside the security corden, so, from every bit of information we have, no security was breached at love field today. you know, there are times when domestic arguments spill over to all parts of life. there's just no telling at this point what prescipitated this, but result is that the airport

is now shut down. we have no word of disruptions to air traffic. no word of disruptions to dallas international airport. but this love field, this smaller of the two airports there, it shut down for the forseeable future. local nbc is reporting what dallas fire confirmed to us, that one person is en route to the hospital. all of this is locked down and questions to be answered soon. we're confident. again, love field in dallas and the video, we get in video from sources all the time we never bring to you because so much of it turns out to be not of substance, consequence and not true chlg in some case, staged. this one not at all. one more look at this while we work to get new information from police.

>> get back! stay down! >> back inside. get down. >> so again, this is what we have for you this afternoon. we're wait frg a number of things from police and we're expecting to get them shortly. what precipitateded this, when will the airport be reopened. was anyone else hurt in clearly, people were disturbed today and we're now getting reports from police, at least nine shots could be heard on the video there and hundreds of people in the ticket area standing around inside now waiting for instructions. when we have new information, we'll come back to it immediately. for now, back to happening now. john scott. >> thank you. we are continuing to keep an eye on what happened there at love field. nine shots fired.

you recall what happened in brussels when there was a terror attack that took place outside the secure area. whether that is something of that nature was beginning on and police got wind of ilt and opened fire, we don't know. could have been deranged individual. again, not a lot of information about what transpired there. we know one person has been taken to the hospital. condition unknown at this time. >> instantly, we saw the video taken by somebody who happened to be standing nearby and turned their camera on to the action so you could see what happened. you heard how quickly those shots rang out, although we have no idea what the origin of this dispute was. we have no idea why authorities thought he was enough of a threat that something needed to be done, so sort of staggering to watch the people on the side kind of come out and look and wander around the scene to go back in rather than immediately ducking and taking cover.

again, we do know that one person has been taken to the hospital. so, apparently, he was in a condition to be able to try to get up after being hit by at least one shot. plifs ther. >> we have no idea what he did to get that attention. he was also telling people to go inside. you saw people wandering out to see what was going on, but the suspect on the ground, they're touds baggage claim area. we don't know where they had come before that or what they had been doing to get that attention, but that video immediately going out and going everywhere instantly. >> love field sits about six miles north of downtown dallas if you haven't been there. it was the main airport into dallas until about 1973 or so. when it was replaced by dallas ft. worth international, a massive complex in between those two cities. love field still open primarily serving as a hub for southwest

airlines. but it obviously is still a busy place and anytime you get this kind of police activity in such a crowded area as a baggage pick up location, it's obviously very unnerving. >> we've heard reports from the scene there was an announcement that if you had witnesses anything that had quoen on in this period of time and were a witness on the scene, to please come down and report what you had seen. they were trying to move things through as quickly as possible. recognizing that you know, while there's danger in the area, at the same time, there were a lot of people moving in and out and going this different directions, so thousand, they have now, they have a big job on their hands and to get the crowds moving through on this friday afternoon when you have to think there is more travel than usual and people come in and out ahead of the weekend. >> a chaotic scene there. almost looked as though the camera op rart of the particular

clip we showed you was maybe you know, greeting friends or something, then the shots ring out. he flynn shs with the camera. and nine gun shots in all are heard. just happened to be rolling. it would appear at the moment the shots are first fireded and then you hear people in the background wondering what transpi transpired. the guy in the cap just expressing abs of a flabbergasted expression of what just happened. >> you could see the name of the person using the camera there, brian armstrong on the top of the screen. shooting something else at the time. turned out to where he saw the action and continued to roll on it. in what is really a sign of the times. no matter what is going on, there's someone with with a camera rolling capturing it. you saw the man with the yellow shirt come out and see what was
