live from news headquarters, i'm patricia stark. five deaths are being blamed on a heat wave in the west. it is also spawning a dozen wildfires. more fires have, spaed in southern california -- sparked in southern california prompting evacuations in suburban, los angeles. the heat wave is not expected to let up for several day. in orlando police are wrapping up their investigation of a mass shooting at a nightclub where 49 people were killed. roads around a the nightclub have now been reopened. the police have yet to release the building back to the owner who pledges the club will re-open. boeing may have struck a deal with iran. iran looking to purchase 100 aircraft for the state airline in a $25 billion deal. sanctions between the u.s. and iran could still complicate any agreement. if finalized it would be the biggest business deal between the two since the 1979 u.s. embassy take over in iran.

a federal judge has ordered leonardo dicaprio to be deposed in a defamation lawsuit brought by a former executive from ""the wolf of wall street"." andrew green is suing for $50 million claiming he was defamed by the character named nicky "rug rat" koskof. they say it is a composite inspired by multiple people including green, but he insists the despicable character is him. dicaprio's lawyers say he didn't write the movie. he was merely the star. here is my favorite dicaprio scene from wolf of wall street. ♪
