feyes page. if you have not liked my page do it now so you can pattern pate tomorrow and share did t. with your friends. bill o'reilly is up next. good night from washington. supply hello, earn. i am tom shillue. let's check in with andy levey. >> thanks, tom. coming up on the big show. what is the latest on brexit. he gives me his two cents. it is a microaggression to say you speak english really well. finally barnes and nobel will start to sell alcohol at the bookstores. now i know why joe anne bought a nook. back to you, tom. >> thank you, andy. there's no i in team, but there are two in kristen.
12:01 am
it is the new book called government gone wild. she is business in the front and extra business in the back. >> his favorite cologne is gravy. and she has performed in more casinos than an elvis impersonator. bonnie mcfarland author of "you are better than me" million war. memoir. >> let's start the show. >> britain voted to exit the european union. the elite were sure surprised. certain poity heads in this country are trying to convince us the brexit vote has agents bearing on politics. it was about people taking control of their own country and their borders. it was about average citizens versus the global elite and it
12:02 am
was about unapologetic nationalism. the elites in this country, just as in europe have little interest in the citizens interests. their solutions call them racist. do a search and they can see how the mainstream media explains issue. the american idiot's guide to brexit. they summed up the leave argument this way. the short answer is that the eu is a hot mess right now. british people are not crazy about polish immigrants. if you are for anything short of surrendering to a group of faceless bureaucrats you are a dumb biggot. keep it up, guys. it didn't work in europe and it won't work here. you may be as surprised as they were. >> wow, that was such a good monologue. i don't even know where we can go with this. >> well, i did a little
12:03 am
research and i think a lot of people may not know much about brexit, but i will explain it. >> you can explain it? >> i can. brexit is the word britain and exsew 10 shallism and they put them together. >> why didn't they call it brit-exostentialism. >> it is hard for people to say. >> what do you know about brexit? >> i don't know about economics. i am a torig from my 90210 days. i know about people and they will take any opportunity to call people a racist. they love it and it is their passion. >> they are doing it in europe and they are doing it here. dozens of stories, british newspapers, american newspapers about the wave of intolerance that has been sweeping england after the vote. there is no real proof for it. >> i mean i hate polish
12:04 am
people. i do it quietly. i love there were leaflets. it is funny that they were passing leaflets out and they called them leaf polish vermin. i'm irish. if i saw a leaflet that said irish vermin, it would ruin my day. they are suffering from no sense of humor. >> you know what is funny? they were not handing them out on the streets, but they were depositing them in mailboxes which makes me think the people behind them were the -- >> polish! yes. >> they are busy calling the brexit people racist. they stuck these phony things in there. i don't think there was any racist behind them. >> i think it is the easy argument to say somebody is a racist. if somebody disagrees with you the leftists in this country feel like they are trying to kill you. >> that is such a bigoted
12:05 am
thing to say. >> look, this is -- i think that they are in denial. they are saying it is a british thing. it has nothing to do with american politics. >> all i have heard is this is a mute knee against the -- mutiny against the elite. >> it is a mutiny against conservatives. it is a mutiny against migrants. who is left? this is a very simple story of people who felt they were left out of the economic explosion or implosion as it were and they weren't getting pulled in and along for the ride. so we understand how they feel. it is the will of the people and it is no longer a unit coulder factual. you can't say what if we were to breakaway. now they have and now we'll see. we're watching. >> who do you think is next? the next countries in line, do you think france? >> there is now a frexit, there is czech out, the czech republic. there is aut-stria.
12:06 am
how about it-aleave. >> i feel like it is like "sister wives" when one wanted to go. who gets what? >> look, kristen, i think you agree with my money monologue, don't you? >> the working class are telling them to accept open borders. the migrants that are flooding europe and britain are unvetted and causing crime rates to spike and they are a drag on the economy. it is not racist to be stabbed or mugged by a migrants and it is mott racist to have your tax dollars to support a nonworking foreigner. >> it is not racist to not want to be stabbed by a colored. it is not. >> they are white.
12:07 am
they hate another white group. everyone should get behind that. >> why were they ever behind the idea that they shouldn't be in control of their own borders. >> they are not behind the idea. it is easy for the elite, the beautiful people in london who control -- >> there are no beautiful people. >> they are more privileged people to look down their nose at the peasants. the ruling class are surrounded by armed guards. they are so out of touch. >> is it fascinating to think fleet street, the big banks didn't win this one. they would like the ability to have this cross continental parade and all of this business. they didn't win this one. this was truly the will of the people and we'll see how it goes. >> you know what else is similar between the brexit and this country? can we show this picture? you know boris. >> boris johnson. >> yes. look at those. omg.
12:08 am
>> are we going to have two yellow haired rulers. >> that looks like darrell hammond doing done thald trum -- doing donald trump. >> and he may be the next prime minister. who knows? >> the next story, disagree with the democrats on global warming? prepare to be investigated. the new platform of the democratic national committee thought police -- o, i read it wrong. the new democratic thought police called for the department of justice to investigate alleged corporate fraud on the fault of fuel companies who misled shareholders and the public on climate change. currently three states attorney general are looking into exxon and they demanded on conservative think tanks and scientists that are skeptical of the climate alarm. republicans call it an attack on free speech and if it is
12:09 am
possible to minimize the risk of climate change, then the same goes for the exaggeration. if minimization is fraud exaggeration is fraud. >> you can't lie to shareholders, period. there is some belief that some of the bigger oil companies misrepresented things so they didn't lose shareholders knowing that there may be certain effects of climate change. just like with enron who tried to act like everything was fine and everything wasn't fine? or they were making so much money and they weren't, you can't lie to shareholders. now if you can prove it that's a different story. right now to actually -- you are making a little twist here that is a hard left or a right turn. >> did they mislead? they say the world is getting warmer. >> it is a matter of opinion right now. >> how can you prove it? >> there are certain indications that are coming off the warmest year in the
12:10 am
history of the north american continent. you read that. >> i have. but i am wondering how would you prove they lied about it? >> i do own a share of exxon. >> i am a shareholder. what worries me, tom is that we have a political witch hunt targeting certain scientists that have not embraced whatever the democratic party put forward as the facts of climate change. they are an accredited scientist and they have the research to back it up, then not that i agree with the democrats, but why they should be able to prove why their point is valid as well. >> there you go. >> do we have a contest on who will vote what? >> yes, a contest. i of course don't believe it
12:11 am
all. no, i thought about it a lot. my earpiece is coming out. >> they are not saying anything to you. >> they don't care will. >> they talk to me through the whole show. do they talk to you guys ? >> no, never. i don't know why i have it. >> in case they have to tell you to stop talking or something. go on. >> there was a little bit of stuff when i said colored. >> they stop you briefly. >> i thought about it so much and i just don't know what we can do -- i was in the shower for two hours. i don't know that there is anything. it is a moot point. who is right and who is wrong? if you will make it illegal to exaggerate, it is just crazy. we will all be dead tomorrow anyway. >> look, remember al gore with that film where he said manhattan would be flooded? i say we charge him, right?
12:12 am
>> we should not be investigating the climate change skeptics. if anything we should be investigating the mayors in the cities with gun free zones. there is a lot of evidence showing the gun free zones don't work. look at chicago. you have 300 murders from the guns there and that's the biggest gun free zone in america. what really bothers me about this is liberals love to say they are so tolerant of diversity. but this is another example of how they have zero tolerance for descending opinions. they want to investigate any opinions that don't align directly with the obama administration. >> that's fantastic. you went after democrats and brought in the second amendment. that's an award-winning answer for our show. >> second amendment deniers. how is that? that's a term we can coin on the show. the supreme court ruled suspected it drunk drivers can refuse blood alcohol tests.
12:13 am
warrants for blood tests must be obtained. breath tests however are tent. unlike breath tests it does not pierce the skin or leave a biological sample in the possession. judge samuel ilito look -- likened the breath test to using a straw for beverages. it is not like drinking through a straw at all. they are forcing you to -- they are testing your breath. i think that's the same as a blood test. >> it shocks people that are are looking at me, but i have never taken a breathalyzer. >> you have had things in your mouth. >> i have had a lot of stuff in my mouth and from cops too. >> cops. >> i am an irish guy from:00 island so this is our -- from long island and this is our
12:14 am
brexit. >> are you happy about the breathalyzer decision? >> you refuse it and go to the station and wait it out and you take it and the level is lower. you refuse it and then you get in the car and bs with the cops and start being friendly and start talking with them about how you understand how it is easy an innocent person and i totally get it it and black lives matter what are they doing and maybe they give it to you an hour later. >> that's it. you butter up the cops. >> you are sitting in close confines of a car breathing at the cops and they are not gonna smell that? >> wow. >> i want -- i don't want to go to jail. well i do maybe. i don't know. >> to me that's a fine line. between the blood -- it is an arbitrary place, isn't it? they shouldn't be allowed to force you to breathe into that machine. >> whose side are you on? >> i think the punishment should be more harsh, but i
12:15 am
think -- i don't know. >> you know how many people have a second, third and fourth dui? >> one and it is over. >> by the way, you definitely want to maintain the no illegal search and seizure. that is a constitutional issue. you don't want to over reach when it comes to that, but breathalyzers, big deal. >> what about where they stop you? i don't think they should stop me ever. i don't drink and drive. i get stuck in the traffic stops and they pull everybody over. they should pull over the people driving crazy. >> i'm a white man. >> let kristen agree with me before you disagree. >> those stops are super annoying. but i have no problem with a cop making them do a breathalyzer if they truly think that person is drunk. if you want to sit in your house and drink yourself blind, more power to you.
12:16 am
if you are making the decision to get in the car and go on the road your decision and actions are putting others at risk potentially. i don't have a problem with the breathalyzers, but they will have just cause for pulling people over. you can't pull them over for something like grace. you can't pull people over because they are irish. >> or in an irish neighborhood. i like where they made you walk along a line and touch your nose. >> first of all full disclosure, i love drinking and driving and and -- but you don't need a test. is the guy eating a burrito? is he with somebody less attractive than him? there are signs and you don't need to go through all that. >> does that happen to you with your husband? >> that is mean. >> coming up, is complimenting
12:20 am
live from america's news headquarters, i'm kelly wright. here is what is happening. news appear less jittery on global markets after sliding in the wake of last week's referendum to lead the european union. the european stocks are opening higher this morning and most asian markets saw smaller losses or even slight gains as well. the dow jones futures are also up. british prime minister david cameron who announced his resignation after the vote is scheduled to meet with eu leaders in bus sells. he is expected to reject calls
12:21 am
to immediately trigger the formal process for britain to leave the eu insisting that it is a matter for his successor. more rain falling last night in flood-ravaged west virginia. flooding that began late last week is already blamed on 23 deaths in the state. earl ray tomlin says while the destruction is unknown thousands of homes are considered a complete loss and thousands need extensive repairs. volkswagen has reached what could be the largest settlement in u.s. history stemming from the emissions cheating scandal. according to the associated press a source briefed on the matter says the $14.7 billion settlement would be used to fix or buy back vehicles, compensate owners and pay fines. the agreement is expected to be filed in court on tuesday. a high flying honor for astronaut john glenn. the senator will be on hand as
12:22 am
the port columbus international airport in ohio will be renamed the john glenn columbus international airport. glenn, can ohio native, was the first american to orbit the earth in 1962. congratulations to john glenn. i'm kelly wright. we take you back to "red eye world trade." >> what is a microaggression? better question, what isn't it? the guide called understanding microaggressions, many everyday words can be perceived as slight to very sensitive people. here is an example. when i look at you i don't see color. the message minimizing denying a person of color's racial or ethnic experiences. i love your shoes when said to a woman during leadership, the message, notice how you look.
12:23 am
i notice how you look and dress in addition to your intellectual contributions. please stand and be recognized. the message assumes that everyone is able in this way and ignores the diversity of ability in this space. sorry i forgot to send the e-mail. i get adhd sometimes. it minimizes the message with mental health issues. you are not american and do not belong to this community. i think i should have our staff retreat at the country club. let's plan a round of golf. the message assumes employees have the financial resources and the exposure to a fairly expensive and inaccessible sport. lots of microaggressions there, right? is golf a microaggression? >> i don't know what a microaggression is. i was on my block and somebody looked at me and said you look like uncle buck. and then they kept walking. >> that's a macro aggression. >> i thought that was a very
12:24 am
aggressive statement, but said in a fun way. i don't care how you say things. it is the context and the way you -- don't go up to a woman after she gives a speech and compliment her shoes. we know that. you don't have to term it like a microaggression. if a successful woman gives a great speech and the idiot says your shoes are great and they won't laugh it off. this is not a major civil rights thing. >> i go to the shoes after the speech. >> eggs special she if we -- especially if we spend enough. i read what the you have the of north carolina call microuh groud zeros. if you walk up to somebody and say can i touch your hair? if anybody came up with can i touch your hair, ew, get away. >> don't ask. i run them from the front. >> and then there was the other one that said funny you don't look and then insert ethnic identity here. i worked in columbus, ohio for
12:25 am
the first three years of my on erika -- on air career on channel 6. they said you don't look jewish. you look irish. meantime, he is the irish guy. >> you don't look jewish. >> who cares? >> did they have that accent? where were you? >> rio grand, ohio. not rio. that's where they said honey you don't look, insert ethnic identity here. >> what isn't a microaggression thousand especially on today's campuses? >> everything is a microaggression. it makes me want to vomit. liberals think we shouldn't say anything because everything can be a microaggression. if i turn to you, tom and said i think you look really great tonight. that's a microaggression because there may be somebody on the table who doesn't feel they look great. or if you do something cool and i say congrats, i'm going to drink to that, that will be a microaggression because they could have a drinking problem.
12:26 am
these college kids are woosies. they need to put all things considered and get the heck out of everyone's business. >> first of all a great call for people to listen to public radio. >> can i say you have amazing cleavage. >> thank you. >> and i also want to point out that -- >> that's not a microaggression. >> it's not? it is just an up and up compliment? >> yes. >> i am so aware of microaggression. i am very, very careful. i used to get standing ovations in my stand up act all the time. i said, no, sit down. it is not nice to people who are disabled. they are unable to stand. i used to be known is a the gal who got standing ovations every night, but not anymore. >> you don't president what to do that to -- don't want to do that to people. >> this microaggression stuff is creeping in and it is why comedians can't perform for
12:27 am
young people because they have no sense of humor. >> get up and compliment them. you look great. >> you must deal with that. >> i let them get warmth. they get one hug and we do that an hour and then i leave. >> listen, you have a unexpected -- you're gay, right? you are libertarians in your beliefs. a fairly edgy political -- you are offending a lot of people a lot of the time. >> wait a second, you are a libertarian? >> yes. you know, you try to be as funny as you can. you ignore the crazy kids. it is like the loser that gets to go out and say 24 is the way it is supposed to be. if you are trying to be funny and you are not trying to hurt
12:28 am
people and not trying to be hateful. that's in your heart and you know that. and then ignore the people that are being ridiculous. >> haters gonna hate. >> i used to use it all the time. not around my dads. >> i am not offended bywords. i don't think it is a huge deal. >> i think it is going to bounce back. if you stop me in a nightclub, then i get offended. this is offensive. >> or even hit you. it is time to take a break. what has blue eyes and a dark suit and intolerance for stupidity? it is andy levey, and he is with us next with "half time." the "red eye" pod cast is back. subscribe on itunes or fox news.com.
12:32 am
welcome back. time to find out what we got wrong and what we missed from tv's andy levey. let's start with brexit, shall we? we have to gost important question first. how are people pronouncing this? brexit or brexit. >> i think brexit because we don't say exit. we say exit. >> i think you are right. i believe that's the most important question about it. >> it sounds like cereal. bonnie you said young people will take any opportunity to call people racist.
12:33 am
has your daughter started doing that to you? >> all the time. we get in arguments and she says you can't say the word crap. i said that's such bull -- that's stupid i said. >> tim, i want to be clear on this. you think the polish people should have laughed at other people saying leave polish vermin? >> yes. >> i just want to be clear. >> you said this is a mute knee against -- muty against liberals and conservatives. are none of those true? >> i think it is. the brexit issue is definitely pushing back against elites as you want to call them. if you look at the demographics -- sorry i am using that word -- but it looks like the people who voted for this were the older
12:34 am
generation who feel they were left behind. 18 to 34 voted to stay in the european union. >> and you mentioned frexit well shouldn't it be fradou? >> ask miss thing over here. she is a french canadian know it all. >> i don't care. >> you just don't care enough. >> you said it is easy for the beautiful people in london to look down their noses at the masses. you said there are no beautiful people in london. what about elizabeth hurley? >> she is a solid five. >> really? >> wow. >> she is no bonnie mcfarland. >> she was pro-exit. >> really? >> now i am pro-exit. >> i do not have a strong feeling about this. a lot of people who don't know the difference between the
12:35 am
united kingdom we have a strong opinion on brexit and that's wrong to me. >> they didn't have an opinion until they had an opinion what it should be. the democratic platform calls for global warming deniers. i support this, but because i want you to go to prison. tim you said there is a witch hunt against people who don't believe in climate change. that's offensive to wiccans. >> use another phrase. >> kristen you said we shouldn't be investigating climate change because the science is fuzzy. do you think if a corporation had information and withheld it the way as tom brought up the cigarette companies did, should they be prosecuted for fraud? >> this show is on at 3:00 a.m., right?
12:36 am
>> no, i don't think they should be investigated. again, the science is fuzzy. if there were definite signs and definite facts and the companies were twisting the facts or lying about the facts, yeah, maybe they should be investigated, but that's not the case. >> just for the record the correct answer was this show is on at 3:00 a.m. suspected it drunk drivers can't be refused for blood tests. you said you are an irish guy. >> i am from long island and all of the guys are the cops now. >> good point. it is a good day for them. >> i am gonna get letters. >> tom, you said they shouldn't be able to force you to take a breathalyzer either. look at you agreeing with the scrus tises.
12:37 am
>> -- the justices. >> to me it is not in:00 us with. >> you sound like one of them liberal elites. >> i long said it should be harder to prove drunk driving, but when they do they should take your license away for life. >> i had a long and boring explanation about what this means, but i am not going do it. >> >> the university of north carolina and their microaggressions. during the break between blocks i went to the unc web page where the list was and it is now gone. >> wow. >> "read --" red eye" guest results. you talked about this and i know you are not supposed to say i love your shoes because it minute mys their brain. >> if you spend the money, heck, why not 1234 i need the
12:38 am
compliment having justified spending the money. >> what if you sketch their expheuz mail them a picture? >> that's -- >> then you don't have to say anything. >> you will have to say something, but to the judge. >> very similar to your running up and touching their hair. >> you brought up that microaggression where somebody says can i touch your hair. >> don't touch the hair. >> you said you would be fine with that. >> that's bonnie. no i would not be fine with somebody wanting to touch my hair. >> that is meant for people of color. >> i am wearing a wig. >> if you told tom you look great that's a microaggression. >> he look great. >> lastly bonnie when you said you have nice cleavage were
12:39 am
you talking to tom? >> i was looking that way. >> hard to tell? >> i am done. >> edward snowden is the row bow cop of whistleblowers. first here is what's happening on the next "kennedy." >> hello, "red eye" run aways. i will poach andy levey from your show and force him to talk about ebony williams and raid quo head. and judge napolitano joins me with news from the supreme court. we'll throw freedom all over your face.
12:43 am
live from america's news headquarters i'm kelly wright. good morning. here's what is happening. new financial worries for the uk this morning following the vote to leave the european union. fitch ratings has down graded the top credit grade from double a plus to just double a. and standard and pours and dropping the sovereign rating rating from triple-a to double-a. the down grades could add further turmoil to the already shaky markets including wall street and both agencies warn further down grades with still possible. abortion activists say it could take years for some of the 20 plus clinics shutdown by restrictions in texas to reopen. texas had 41 abortion facilities in 2013 when the republican-controlled legislature approved the law.
12:44 am
it only has 19 today. the high court ruled yesterday the law created an undue burden. and they cannot cite their own religious beliefs to keep from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. the ruling means the state can't enforce part of a religious objections bill that was supposed to become law this friday. attorneys are waiting on rulings in two other lawsuits that seek to block all of the law including provisions that could affect school bathroom policies for transgender students. and an apology from the american red cross. it stems from a pool safety poster that some think had a racist message. the cartoon poster labeled nearly all of the white children's activities a is cool and the children of cool were depicted in unsafe ways and labeled not cool. a red cross spokesman said the posters were removed and more
12:45 am
appropriate material is in the works. that's a look at this hour of i'm kelly wright. now back to "red eye." >> edward snowden is back in the united states. he is in robot form. he is not here to face justice, but to give speeches and participate in ted talks. he can control the snow bot as it has been dubbed gliding around and making eye contact with people. with the machine they were able to meet you the astro physicist. i am not sure if the last one is correct. snowden admits it is not the same as actually being here. >> one thing i have learned embodying a robot.
12:46 am
the thing in the up riding are stairs, doors. >> nothing can stop robot snowden except stairs and doors. now den's lawyer says they are stepping up the obama administration for a presidential par -- pardon. this is one of the rare cases for which the pardon power exists. it is not for somebody didn't break the law. it is for when they did and their reasons not enforcing the law against the person. interesting, but kristen do you think obama would pardon snowden? >> first of all since when is leaking national security secrets a crime? hillary clinton do that with an unsecure e-mail server, but no one cares about that. >> a couple of conservatives care about it. i have con flicked it views on the whole snowden thing. on one happened he is a hero
12:47 am
because he released critical information that the public deserve to know. but on the other hand he should not be pardoned because if they pardon him it will send a message to those working for the cia that you can release secrets that are treasured and used by our national security experts and there will be no consequences. it is a dangerous decision to pardon him. >> i don't think obama would do it, do you, liz? >> no way. >> should he or shouldn't he? >> he should not. in fact, you sign a contract and you go to work for somebody at fox, you don't reveal stuff because you don't agree with it. especially considering we don't know the trauma he has actually caused for people whose secrets he revealed. so much was revealed here and you can't go out and do that. it is a law and he signed the contract so stick with it. >> why is he a hero with so many people 1234. >> he is stuck in that robotic
12:48 am
thing that looks totally lame. what is that? >> he doesn't look cool at all in that. when he first came out maybe, but this looks dorky to me. >> hillary clinton is already a robot. you can't do much because she is already a bought. >> what do you think of show den? >> history will be kinder to him . i think the security state is something the american people are ignorant about and should know more about. the way he did is it was probably wrong but when we look back we will say it was an issue of freedom. >> wow, people are all over the map on this. what is your answer, bonnie? >> i will say my daughter wants a snow bot, but i think
12:49 am
she thinks it is from "frozen." i know it is an old wrens. i used to know where i stood on snowden, but i forgot. i hated him for leaking classified information or a hero. i don't remember. >> would you like to use one of these devices? >> i wish that was my husband. wouldn't that be so great? you turn to face the wall. >> you would like if he was exiled to another country? >> i am going up the stairs. >> i think they are the future of corporate america. erve will be sitting in bed skypeing while robots are going to the meeting. you send a kristen bot and an andy bought from bed will. >> i can do it from home if you put me on a screen. does it help being right here with me that much? >> they do that with radio now. you can actually -- you know people do radio in their own homes. but you're right.
12:50 am
they are already doing this for people who want to work out of their homes, but actually want to be present at meetings. it has been around awhile. >> it will save so many problems, traffic, pollution, et cetera, right? >> sold, tom. beer and books have finally been brought together. i'll explain it in tonight's bedtime boozey story. they brought this on themselves.
12:53 am

coming up tomorrow on the next "red eye" anthony l fisher and joe devito and madison malloy and trish regan. barnes and nobel is planning to sell beer and wine so you can browse and booze. the chain is opening four stores in the next year that will feature restaurants with full waiter service in the hopes of attracting new shoppers. no word on if the menu will include "green eggs eggs and ham." meanwhile others -- [applause]. thank you. other struggling businesses are coming up with gimmicks to stay afloat. at radioshack with every purchase of double a batteries you can get a ticket to the petting zoo. and buy three suit jackets and
12:55 am
get a handful of skittles. where is the applause on that one? >> it didn't deserve it. >> and sears has installed a lazy river in the appliance section of select stores. how about that one? >> nice!
