weather potential. we will be tracking thunderstorms as we head into this afternoon and evening that could bring additional severe weather with large hail and damaging winds. the greatest threat is in illinois, missouri into iowa. another storm system rolling through producing more thunderstorms and again a risk for severe storms. north carolinas you have a risk of isolated severe weather. not much of a change for tomorrow. more ser storms possible over ohio river valley and interior portions of the northeast. isolated tornadoes will be a concern. a similar weather map here as far as the next couple days. we have had heat index values extending over the gulf coast part of the carolinas looking at eat advisories. the problem is the heat and humidity with the heat index values climbing into the triple digits. you can see philadelphia 94 degrees in the 90's in atlanta and out across the plains triple
