is in a world of terrorist." >> the attack devastating the country still feeling the effect from last november attack that killed 130. this is at least the 10th terrorist attack in january 2014. over 200 killed under 18 months. i want to go to you first, robert. you are the person we depend on this. what do you do? >> well, i have been saying for years now, that we need to met american troops under ground and take them out. you need to do it. the west, more candlelight vigils but that does not kill the terrorist. we don't know if this guy is isis. they put it out there and al-qaida out there. run them down with cars. they're going to kill us
12:03 am
regardless. the only reasonable way is on the left of the us. >> exactly. >> just no trucks at the people of the fly list. >> it is interesting point when you bling out candlelight vigils and thoughts of prayers which you all hear about this and then it moves on. once it is on twitter, it replaces the action. >> solidarity with the french people, you cannot kill. you need to get rid of it. they're so frustrated over not doing anything. we know what it is and we know the problem and the responsibility. there is as ghoul in syria.

[ applause ] >> i noticed the press keeps saying a truck attacking the event. >> we are still kind of trapped in this weird world. >> we know who's doing it. there is a big elephant in the room. he's hearing a turbin, this is an ideology. al-qaida is the same and isis is the same and al shabaab is the same. they're all the same version of radicalized zuni islam. >> by the way, you slander elephants -- [ laughter ] >> i think you are one of the first people that's back in the old day, talk about the threat of islamism. what are your thoughts? >> i am horrified.
12:05 am
this is 15 years after 9/11. the ideas which have not yet discredited. the president talks a lot about taking the soldiers off the battlefield and joining militant islamic. now, we are finding that it is not just here at home in the west but it is the softest of targets, it is nightclubs and retirement parties and going out watching fire works displays. i feel we are all a target everywhere we go. >> it is interesting to bring up the fire works, club and places where there is already noise and rock concerts. i happen to think that part of it, too, if you hear gunshots, you assume it is fire crackers. if you are a band concert, you cannot hear them and they gunned around 20. >> those were instances where you are seeing it is the westernized culture and these people are celebrating which a lot of these militants don't
12:06 am
agree with. >> right. >> it is not just the opportunity is there for them, they're trying to diminish the sort of value that is we all share and celebrate. >> you know what's interesting to that, they don't target campuses or colleges which is the progressive activism and the idea of accusation islamic phobia. they attack place where i i don't know, where it is not there. >> i wish it was that conscious. you know this follows the same trajectory in israel, this incident of the night attack on tp streets and ramming random crowds of people. i wish it was more ideology target, i just think it is the west arch. >> what do you think jaime, you are a comedian, this is a rough time for a comedian coming on a show >> i feel that you sat us in the
12:07 am
order of which you thought we are able to contribute. >> i have a lot to contribute. >> speak for yourself. >> i honestly -- france is the target. i have three kids and it makes you realize that you are regular day can suddenly becoming not a regular day anymore and threats are out there. you just go along your day and you get your kids ready for school and you forget that threats are out there until something like this happens. how long will it be until it happens here. >> that's true. that's the kind of fear they want to in still in us that it can happen everywhere. >> what do you think of hillary clinton on thursday night saying that we have an intelligence problem, do you agree? >> but then sometimes with the intel not telling the truth
12:08 am
because i want that next promotion but i am not going to tell. >> definitely. >> our law enforcement, they're not sharing it for whatever reason. it is definitely an intellige intelligentmeintelligent. we need to watch people that's r radicalizi radicalizing. the criticisms towards law enforcement going into mosque under cover as if that's the kind of things they want to do. i cannot imagine of anything tedious of people praying five times a day. >> i never thought about it, absolutely. >> we don't want to go through but we are withere to protect muslims. >> we are not talking about a couple of guy in the back of the students. we need our people out there.
12:09 am
these guys are saying radical stuff, you may want to watch this. they bring a lot of these radicalized guys out. >> however, it is just this fear of offending muslims for protecting american self interests or lives. i mean we are talking about jihadists which are so brazen of attacking us. >> i am worried about getting blown up then offending somebody and i don't understand how more people are not thinking that way. getting blown up is more worse. >> it is offensive. >> the thing is, you have a risk of being perceived as a bigot than you are being blown up so everyday it is like if i say something, i cannot say islamism. i got to say islamism.
12:10 am
>> man, that drives me nuts and it is opened to everybody. when we talk about our retaliation which is in my view of justice, you get the phrase of we are better than that. why should we be better than that? [ applause ] as oppose to trump? >> yes. >> why can we be worse? i am not talking about taking innocent people, why can we be as frightening as they are. >> why not express their anger. is that the proper response, justice as you said? >> expressing anger is to rude? >> yeah, you have to apologize. you know this amy. tough apologize for many mithin. >> i do it all the time. >> that's also because you are also married. >> joe, i saw you are about to open your mouth. >> action, you did a lovely tweet recently, i cannot

>> thursday when i was watching this unfold, i feel that earth has this collective shrug. oh, here we go again almost as though terrorists is now such a fact of life that it is decriminalized. it is though, you know, that's what they do and we don't follow through >> that's correct. it is because the political elite again. they don't say this is the war. they refuse to use words like "enemy" or "evil." this is the in connotation of evil. it is the responsibilities of our leaders that we are in a catastrophic situation right now. your book of defeating jihad. if you suddenly make president, how would you win the war? >> i will have to change the

noticed after the attack. people were careful not to show the video of the carnage in certain acts of brutality with the police, there is never seem to be much resistance to show in that kind of activity, if that's okay -- should we be showing the graphic results of isis of al-qaeda and islamism because they are getting a past every time we don't show it, right? >> so glad you mention this. it started on 9/11. we have self censorship. how many of real images of even that 9/11 that we see. the man falling is that it. we need to see the reality. when you watch the video as i do of the full hour version coming out of isis, you see a man takes

seven minutes to sever another human being from the shoulder, then you get the idea and they'll never give up until we crush them, greg. >> i agree, i think there is a sense of maybe 2016, a large portion of the population cannot take it. they can cannot bare the truth,y look at that, it is more than just saying thoughts and prayers on twitter, you have to support the battlefield and believe that you eradicate evil. people are scared of saying that. >> doctor gorkol, it is great having you here, your book is fantastic, thank you very much. >> any time. all right, we'll take another break. the list of convention speakers is out. who'll make the most of the big stage, that's next?
