room. but there was also a sense of emotion. that came from the everyday americans. the mother of the benghazi, the one who lost her son in bengh i benghazi. marcus luttrell a navy seal. it brought people to tears at the convention? why? because it came from the heart. it wasn't necessarily incredibly scripted. i have to tell you the powerful speech of the night was rudy giuliani. he spoke about race relations and law enforcement and how they are there to help save people in the streets, and also talks about the message of one america. i think that's so important. that's the message donald trump is definitely pushing through this convention. we can't forget of course melania trump her story as an immigrant coming to america talking about hard work and kindness and compassion, talking about her husband as really being one who can do great

things for america. it was such a diverse group of speakers for the first night. it set the stage for what i think is going to be a very powerful and uplifting convention. >> really emotional night. i agree with that, such a powerful moment when he talked about the police officer, doesn't matter what religion or color they are, they go out and protect. >> not once has rudy giuliani spoken at a republican convention and not have people on their feet. he's a fantastic communicator. he knows what we need to do to keep america safe and he was an outstanding choice to have speak last night. i will say this as well. if you are looking for the one reason most people support donald trump, willie robertson said it, they are looking for someone to have their back. for too often the government has done more to be on people's backs in a harmful way. they are looking for someone to have their back to help lift them up. trump with his policies are going to do that, getting

that weren't there yet and after the selection of mike pence said they are there. i think coming out of this week you will see a lot of uniting of the republican party. >> with the beginning of the convention also began the protests. we were out among the pro pest testers yesterday. there was a sizable anti trump rally, but there was pro jump folks shooting them down. there were protestors protesting a number of things. moving forward, there has been a concern about ohio's open carry law. you are allowed to carry your firearm in the state of ohio without a license. it is a law here. there was an appeal to the police union the governor and police department trying to restrict that and suspend the open carry. the governor saying you can't do that. it's a second amendment right and it is within state law. you can carry and there are plenty of folks doing so around
