this comes on the heaels of thre other incidents. a 10-year-old boy died on sunday riding the tallest water slide in the world. the same day two riders injured after a cable detached on a ride in ohio. three young girls sent plummeting 50 feet off of a ferris wheel in tennessee. three of the girls are recovering at home. the youngest victim is 6-year-old girl is in critical condition after suffering a traumatic brain injury. there are more than 100 parks attracting 330 million individuals tors every year. it is up to the states for the regulation. >> i am sure it there will be parents thinking twice now. >> cheryl casone from fox

taking a look at the future forecast, you could pick up as much as six inches of rain, locally even heavier amounts still to come. because of that we have a number of flash flood watches not only for louisiana or across mississippi but extending into parts of the southwestern florida panhandle. it will be very hot. not only will it be very muggy out there but we are expecting a high temperature at 100 degrees. 103 for dallas. east coast and new york city it will be a warm day as well. 90 degrees for a high. factor in the humidity and heat index values will be much warmer than the monitor reads. forecast heat index values across portions of the plains. in dallas could feel like 111 to 109 degrees. in houston more of the same as well. >> you step outside and you are just dripping wet.

combined live action and hand drawn am nation. this time you have robert redford directed by a guy named david lowery. it is a wonderful story about a orphan. his name is pete. he finds and becomes friends with a dragon named elliott in the forest where he's living by himself. then robert redford gets involved in his life. it's a beautiful story with great messages. it's shot in new zealand. it's beautiful to look at. i love how they did the fur on the dragon. it resembles a dog in the way it moves and it sounds. i think anybody who owns to a pet will relate to the relationship between pete and elliott. i think it's a wonderfully well made film. great messages. solid disney movie. i gave it 4 out of 5. i'm a big cinema fan. i got a chance to sit down with robert redford which is a huge deal. he made some of the biggest and

flies. the scenes with the kid and the dragon. here's something cool. they were telling me when they were filming the scenes to get the eye lines correct with the dragon and the people they had a 25 foot inflatable dragon that they blew up so they could look up at the eyes of the dragon so their eye lines were correct. very, very cool how they pulled it off. this next movie we're going to talk about, i was reading the summary of it. kind of like "robin hood," correct? stealing from the rich and giving to the poor? >> well, it's interesting. so "hell or high water" is the idea of two brothers who are about to lose their family's land and there's -- the bank is going to take the land. these guys decide to rob the banks who's asking for the money for the land. they're going to pay the bank back with the bank's money. chris pine and ben foster. jeff bridges is the texas ranger trying to stop them.

it is incredibly intense, very in your face. i love the way the film was shot. it looks incredible. it reminded me of a roger deaconesque film. jeff bridges is better than ever. one of the best things he's ever done. i would reserve that for "big labounty" and "the dude." chris pine, one of the best things he's ever done in his career. ben foster is incredible in the movie. i gave it 4 1/2 out of 5, it's a sleeper hit in the summer. i didn't know much about it. i sat down and watched it, it blew my mind. i loved it. i gave it a 4 1/2 out of 5. >> thank you so much, kevin. >> thank you, heather. >> love having you with us. the time now is 6 minutes until the top of the hour, and wolverine gone wrong.

time now for the good, the bad, the ugly. up first, the good. he goes above and beyond to save a cat stuck in a sewer cover. crews in broward county attempted to free the cat's paw using hand tools and they were successful. the feline was taken to an animal hospital to sedate it. the cat only had a wound around his little paw. >> i love that. the bad. this dog, a chihuahua, arrested by officers in california after running on a busy road. causing a traffic jam. we're all caught up with him and booked this little guy in the back of his squad car. cute. >> finally, the ugly. what is going on with hugh jackman, the wolverine looking dramatically older, some say, in a new instagram post.
