investigating the poverty and joblessness of the inner cities. just think about how much different things would be if the media in this country sent their cameras to our border to our closing factories, or to our failing schools. or if the media focused on what dark streets must be hidden in the 33,000 emails that hillary clinton illegally deleted. [chanting: lock her up]
5:01 pm
every story told from the perspective of the insider. it's the narrative of the people who rig the system, never the voice of the people it's been rigged against. believe me. so many people suffering for so long in silence. no cameras. no coverage, no outrage from the media class that seems to get outrage over just about everything else. so, again, it's not about me. it's never been about me. it's been about all the people in this country who don't have a voice. i am running to be your voice. [cheers and applause]
5:02 pm
[chanting: donald trump] >> thank you. i'm running to be the voice for every part of this country that has been waiting and hoping for a better future. i am glad that i make the powerful, and i mean very powerful a little uncomfortable now and again, including some of the powerful people, frankly, in my own party because it means that i'm fighting for real change, real change there is a reason hedge fund managers. the financial lobbyists, the wall street investors are throwing their money all over hillary clinton because they know she will make sure the system stays rigged in their favor.
5:03 pm
it's the powerful protecting the powerful the insiders fighting for the insiders. i am fighting for you. here is the change i propose. on terrorism, we are going to end the era of nation-building and, instead, focus on destroying, destroying, destroying isis and radical islamic terrorism. we will use military, cyber, and financial warfare and work with any partner in the world and the middle east shaeastthat shares our goal in defeating terrorism. >> i have a message for the

we will promote our american values, our american way of life, and our american system of government, which are all, all the best in the world my opponent on the other hand wants a 50% increase in syrian refugees even more than already pouring in to our country under president obama. her plan would bring in roughly 620,000 refugees from all refugee sending nations in her first term alone on top of all other immigration. think of that think of that what are we doing? hillary clinton is running

[cheers and applause] and likewise we are going to withdraw from transpacific partnership, another disaster. [cheers and applause] stand up to china on our terrible trade agreements and protect every last american job hillary clinton has supported all of the major trade deals that have stripped this country of its jobs and its wealth.
5:09 pm
we owe $20 trillion. on taxes, we are going to massively cut tax rates for workers and small businesses creating millions of new good paying jobs. we're going to get rid of regulations that send jobs overseas and we are going to make it easier for young americans to get the credit they need to start a small business and pursue their dream. on education, so important, we are going to give students choice and allow charter schools to thrive. we are going to end tenure
5:10 pm
policies that reward bad teachers and hurt our great, good teachers my opponent wants to deny student choice and opportunity, all to get a little bit more money from the education bureaucracy she doesn't care how many young dreams are dashed or destroyed and they are destroyed. young people are destroyed before they even start. we are going to work closely with african-american parents and children we are going to work with the parents' students. we are going to work with everybody in the african-american community, in the inner cities, and what a big difference that is going to make. it's one of the things i must look forward to doing.
5:11 pm
[cheers and applause] this means a lot to me and it's going to be a top priority in a trump administration. on healthcare, we are going to repeal and replace the disaster called obamacare. countless americans have been forced into part-time jobs, premiums are about to jump by double digits yet again and just this week etna announced it is pulling out of the exchanges all over but also in north carolina. we are going to replace this disaster with reforms that give you choice and freedom and control in healthcare at a much, much lower cost you will have much betterhealthcarer

5:14 pm
if african-americans voters give donald trump a chance by giving me their vote, the result for them will be amazing. look how badly things are going under decades of democratic leadership. look at the schoolings. look at the poverty. look at the 58% of young african-american americans not working. 58%. it is it is time for a change. what do you have to lose by trying something new? i will fix it watch, i will fix it.
5:15 pm
it is so bad. the inner cities are so bad, you have nothing to lose. they have been playing with you for 60, 70 years, many, many decades. you have nothing to lose. i will do a great job. [cheers and applause] this means so much to me. and i will work as hard as i can to bring new opportunity to places in our country which have not known it in a very, very long time hillary clinton and the democratic party have taken african-american votes totally for granted. because the votes have been automatically there for them, there has been no reason for democrats to produce, and they haven't. they haven't produced in decades and decades it's
5:16 pm
time to break with the failures of the past and to fight for every last american child in this country to have a better and a much, much brighter future. [cheers and applause] in my administration every american will be treated greatly. protected equally and honored equally. we will reject bigotry and hatred and oppression in all of its forms and seek a new future built on our common culture and values as one american people. 5:24 pm
boring. i know you personally, bill, are a big fan of synchronized swimming. >> i am. >> so i mean no disrespect. but, this is the only thing i find interesting about the olympics. >> so, the athletes, including mr. lochte said that they were assaulted in a cab had to get out of the calculate. lochte said a gun was pointed at his forehead in a robbery. now i guess video says that never happened. is that where we are on it? >> yes. it's starting to look like at least it didn't happen the way they initially said it did. and it may be that they were covering up for something they shouldn't have been doing, like drinking late at night. but, this story is not what it was purported to be and brazil has enough bad pr about crime to begin with. they didn't need this story. and if those guys are lying, i'm glad the brazillians
5:25 pm
found out about it. >> okay. so we will let the story play out but it's a shame because bhut jolokia lochte is a good athlete. but if he did lie about it, his career is going to be tainted. no question. now, george soros. you saw our initial report. that he had given an enormous amount of money to people who were trying to damage israel and trying to damage individual americans like cliff may and liz cheney who were very upfront about condemning the islamic jihadi and the democratic party has taken $13 million. hillary clinton's pack 7 million from soros. now, got very little coverage bloomberg covered it a little bit. new york covered it a little bit but nobody else covered it at all. is there a reason for that? >> even fox covered it only a very, very little bit. >> here is how i see this story.
5:26 pm
let's say a major emergency conservative backer of donald trump, somebody -- somebody who gave him millions and millions of dollars also supported groups that tried to delegitimize israel. not only oppressive but a racist country that would be page one story in the "new york times." >> all right. now, let me stop you there let me stop you there so i agree 100 percent. this is the best example outside of your book "biased" that proves the american media is, a, dishonest and, b, deeply in the tank for liberal causes. when even a villain, like george soros, who is a villain. he is trying to smear and tear down and destroy individual americans who have a differing opinion about the jihadi than he does. the media chooses to ignore the story when russian hackers get in and get all the material present it, all
5:27 pm
right, it's there, no two sides of it and they say we're not going to prove it. that proves the media is biased left. does it not? >> know they are biased in the left. i agree with you in the past bias to corruption. but, this is how i think they would see it they would say this is dog bites man story which i have no interest in. because a lot of liberal elites. liberal elites in the media. in politics. certainly in academia, they agree with george soros when it comes to israel that's not the press' duty. the press' dispute report information. like in cuba and like in russia, we have an information blackout in america. >> of course. >> if this program ever goes off the air, you never hear a word about it i have got to go.

apart, and is presidential polling accurate? with us here in new york city eric shawn and from washington shannon bream. fordham university has annualized the polling from the obama, romney election. what did they find out shannon. >> they looked at all the polls 28 different polls leadinged into the 2012 presidential election. they said all of them were off by some extent as you would expect. it's not exact science. by overall they everywhere off by 3 percentage points in favor of president obama. going into the election, the polls were showing that president obama had about a 1 percentage point advantage. it turned out that he won by more than 3%. so there was a break there. they found in 28 polls, 26 of them were overly favorable to mitt romney and had him doing better than obviously he wound up doing. >> which polls were most accurate? >> the most accurate were democracy core, pew research and the hearted ford current. those are the ones that got it closest to exactly how it turned out. the worse though, rasmussen, gallup, p.r. and ap.
5:33 pm
all of them had romney pulling off a win. >> gallup got out of the presidential polling business because their performance was so abysmal. rasmussen i think turned over management. a.p., that's a big interesting one. because polling not only is an indicator of who might be winning, but also is a psychological factor because if voters think their candidate is going to lose they stay home or whatever. final question, in some of the analysis of the polling there is a bias indicator, that has been studied. what is that? >> well, essentially they look at where the bias fans out. when you ask these polling questions, who tends to be favored. last time there was a bias in favor of republicans, by an assessment of looking at all the polls that is exactly what turned out to be the case. people were overly optimistic about romney, about republicans doing well. in the end it turned out that was just not factual. >> okay. that's interesting. because most people think it's bias left. this time bias in favor of
