health care. despite promising to reduce health care premiums for the typical family by $2500 per year, premiums have increased by almost $4,000. government dependency, food stam pz s ps skyrocketed. and home ownership down. worst of all, the president has nearly doubled the u.s. national debt from $10 trillion when he took office to nearly $20 trillion. now, to be fair, this is not all the president's fault. there are many long-term economic factors that play a role. but, president obama had both houses of congress for the first two year and got everything he wanted to get done. and he made a lot of promises. >> generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide

care for the sick and good jobs for the jobless. this was the moment when the rise of the ocean began to slow and our planet began to heal. >> i don't think the planet is healing that much. the stock market has been, though. outstanding under president obama's two terms. probably mostly because of the cheap money policies. wall street has gotten richer, but main street has not. to the foreign policy front. even obama's biggest supporters say he has underperformed. the southern border is an absolute mess. the president pulled back the border patrol from the front lines and stopped constructing the border fence. there have been multiple domestic terror attacks on the homeland under the president's watch. not all his fault, to be fair, but there were many intelligence failures that led to massive loss of life. the the iranians, russians, chinese, all on the rise. and traditional allies like

israel, saudi arabia, and france no longer take american support for granted. and while the president deserves credit for killing bin laden, isis expanded throughout the middle east and into europe. the president underestimated the threat and has not pursued a winning strategy. bottom line, after almost eight years of president obama, the american people are less wealthy and less safe. hillary clinton will be president obama's third term. so if donald trump can tie hillary clinton to the president's policy record, not on a personal basis, but on policy, she will have a tough time defending this onslaught. coming up, donald trump the comeback. we will analyze. and later, we go back to medieval times. we were in a gere group. i wore lederhosen. so i just started poking around on ancestry.

i'm kelly wright in washington. here's what's happening. good news for people living near two major california wildfires. crews in the northern part of the state report that the six square mile arson fire in lower lake has now 95% contained but the toll is heavy. the flames destroyed 189 homes. in southern california, fire officials have lifted all evacuation orders for thousands of residents chased away by a wildfire in the mountains east of l.a. an early assessment reveals more than 100 homes were destroyed there. elsewhere, in the news tonight, another problem for folks living in the gulf states. the national institutes of health tell us that despite a massive eradication program under way, the mosquito born zika virus could be with us for a while perhaps for another year or two. i'm kelly wright, back to wat

watters world. ♪ welcome back. the conventional wisdom has been that donald trump had a pretty rough patch the last couple of weeks. but the media has been hiding many damaging stories about hillary clinton. her health. questions have been raised about her ability to perform at a high level. she's had help getting up the stairs. she's being propped up with pillows. she is 68 years old and she has a history of blood clots and fainting. and some of her behavior has been a little bizarre. for instance, the coughing. what is that about? and the barking. we all know the barking. and just general goofiness. i myself do not understand this. furthermore, hillary's schedule has been very, very light. she hasn't done a press

conference in over 260 days. and during the first two weeks of august, she took almost every other day off. is she tired? or is she hiding something? maybe she's hiding herself. on another note, the clinton foundation discovered to have been working extremely closely with hillary's state department. trafficking in favors for friends and donors. we didn't hear about that. and the justice department under the obama administration killed the fbi probe into the clinton foundation. but the clinton foundation allegedly had been hacked so we could see more of this in october. maybe a little surprise. other horrible headlines for hillary, the father of the orlando terrorist showed up at a rally. what was he doing there? also been slapped with a lawsuit from the families of the benghazi victims for defamation. and finally, i will let hillary clinton speak for herself. >> so i know what we can do
