i want to show you videos of the crashing waves. any one that tries to get into the water they have been prompted not to do so because of the rip current and also very rough surf. beach erosion a big concern. high tied across many coastal areas and new jersey. i want to mention the royal caribbean anthem of the seas cruise ship found itself in the cross hairs of hermine. they were dealing with 30-foot tall waves. this cruise ship had to deal with another storm system with hurricane force winds out at sea earlier this year in february. we are talking about another storm yet again with the same cr cruise ship being out at sea. take a listen to what the passenger had to say about the experience. >> early morning the ship started swaying. 40 to 50 feet at one point

eating in the restaurant dishes going all over the place. >> tropical storm warnings remain in effect across eastern parts of long island extending to southern portions of new england where they could have tropical storm force winds across places like new jersey and new england will continue to deal with the threat for beach erosion and dangerous surf on this labor day. coastal flooding is a big concern as well as i mentioned high tide so a number of warnings are from effect for -- in effect for that. the storm system continues to intensify offshore. the storm did track further off to the east than anticipated. it will be across other areas like new jersey and it poses a threat on what would normally be a very busy labor day. so many businesses being

even though it is hot in most of the country today it is time to start thinking about fall deals. especially fall travel. airlines are thinking about how much money they are going to make for holiday travel. i recommend booking thanksgiving travel now especially on the expensive days which are the wednesday before november 23rd this year and the sunday after which is november 27th. you bet better deals if you fly the tuesday before or the friday after or the following tuesday after thanksgiving weekend. you should add an extra dollar a day to the ticket price september 1st for each day you don't book and delay. after thanksgiving at $4 a day for every day that you wait ladies the last minute deals if
