investigation of hillary clinton's deleted e-mails might go unanswered. the justice department gave immunitiy to the man who deleteed the backups. there is criticism that said officials failed to conduct a thorough investigation. it is plain that the fbi director james comey didn't plan to press charges. and comey and his investigators came cross five e-mails -- e-mails that showed sign was a possible pay for play between the clinton donors yet comey chose not to expand the e-mail investigation in to a probe of public corruption. >> we have chris, i know you see it differently than mr. spery

does. i will give you a first chance to dispute the contentions. >> i find it incredulous some republicans or critics are attacking director comey who is an republican and independent. and to suggest he has an agenda to make sure hillary clinton gets chargeded with nothing or president of the united states, it just doesn't pass the smell test. i don't see the logic or rationale why comey would play favorites. if you know his history, that's not who he is. i understand the republicans, some want to kind of find something to attack secretary clinton on, but there is nothing there on this one. >> given his background, it is tough to understand.

10:08 am
i don't understand the logic and this is where the american people are frustrated. is hillary clinton make a mistake, yes. did she apologize for it, yes. at the end of the day is her responsiblity to earn the trust of the american people. to question comey and career agents of the fbi is politics that the american people are tired of. there are so many pieces of her store tore that don't add up. initially said she used a black berry for convenience. turns out she had a couple of black berry and ipads and all other sorts of equipment that she used and most of which was dedestroyed or turned up lost. it boggles the mind and maybe
10:09 am
there is another explanation to what was going on here? >> and there may or may not have been. but the fbi investigated. it career fbi agents investigated it siing iscantly and there was no reason for charges. and again, it goes back to the same old question. why would director comey, a republican, work nothing a republican administration do favorites or do hillary clinton, a democrat a favor? why would he do that? the problem is, people are not happy with the conclusion. and this is the difficulty we have in american politics on both sides, we are so determined the other side, we create theories and evidence that does not exist. that is the reality of the political system we live in and not going to be move voters if
