up to assert his role. but the house of representatives needs to go to the judge and order him to show. if he violates that, then the judge will hold him in contempt and he could face jail time. the whole process is not very long and can be done in a couple weeks. but there's simply no legal basis or in my opinion even rational for him not showing up. >> well, and this just feeds into the narrative and to why this oversight committee is even having these hearings. the critics would say look, we have already made our decision. she has not been charged for this. so why are we still questioning the folks. >> because the evidence said mrs. clinton's failure to safeguard state secrets that were given to her in her job

responsibility as secretary of state is overwhelming. there's evidence that she lied about this under oath is overwhelming. and the fact that several destroyed her mobile devices and irretrievable records. give us your vehicle is what started this. on the senate side we have a similar event going on. >> what are the questions they want to ask at this point? if they did show up for the hearings, what do they want to know at this point? >> what is the evidence of you

all companies, right. i wouldn't care. so unfortunate compared to what i'm doing right now. i've spent my money to run, you know, tens of millions of dollars i've spent -- unlike other people where they raise money, i raised money for the party and we have great small donors coming in and just, you know, really spending a lot of money on that and i think we took in $28 million one month. $28 million at $61 a head. that's money i love so much because these are people investing, but they are investing in the campaign, but i would absolutely sever. i would nothing to do with my company. >> knowing that you made these companies, if sanctions went on a country that would hurt your company or your hotels, would you hesitate? >> oh, i would absolutely get out in some form, if its ownership would have to sell. i will get out of those countries.

i wouldn't be able to be involved and i don't think we have too many of those countries, frankly. very interesting question. i would get out. ford has announced it moving all of its small car production to mexico where they say they are going to build $1.6 billion plan and create jobs there. this is something that you called for, correct? >> i've been calling this for six years, five years, talking about it. that's why i'm doing well in michigan and ohio. hillary started talking about it two days ago and she knows nothing about it. this is why i'm leading so big in so many of the states, i think. states that make cars, they like donald trump. i've been saying for five years this is going to happen. i can't believe the brazenness. i think they maybe announced it today because they think i'm going to win and i'm going to

they were both giving speeches at the same event a few months back and she could barely climb the podium steps. obviously, these are emails he didn't think would get out but how he really feels about the situation. what is your response to that? >> look, we wish hillary clinton well. we're glad to see her headed back out on the campaign trail today. we prayed for her recovery and i'm sure colin powell is embarrassed about some of the things he said about both candidates. >> what is your reaction to calling donald trump a national disgrace? >> it's unfortunate, i have a lot of respect for secretary powell didn't calls agree -- always agree with me. >> will you reach out? >> i will sit down and have a conversation. he's entitled to his opinion about hillary clinton and donald trump and there's so much focus candidly on what people in the

establishment and elites have to say about either one of these. >> you consider colin powell that? >> what's extraordinary about this campaign is that millions and millions of everyday americans, from every walk of life, more and more every day are being drawn to the compelling vision of donald trump. >> a lot of what you speak is the opposite of what many have heard from the establishment for many years. >> i gave a speech at the ronald reagan library in california and i talk about how the establishment dealt with ronald reagan. he was no favorite of the establishment. they cast him aside. they said reagan was just someone out of the entertainment world who tried to enter politics late. i looked at his library and said doesn't that sound familiar. the truth is donald trump is giving voice to the frustrations and the aspirations of the american people like no one in my lifetime since ronald reagan

>> i think they do. there's tremendous enthusiasm for donald trump's vision for this country. >> what do you say about their concerns they have about donald trump? >> they know the policies. they know he's laying out a common sense, conservative agenda to get the economy moving again, rebuild the military. his economic plan actually borrowed from speaker paul ryan's plan to lower our marginal tax rates for lower rates for working families and small businesses. they know the policies. i talked a lot about the man. i talked a lot about the time that our families have spent together, and i just looked them all in the eye. a lot of people i served with a lot of years, let me tell you something, this is a man who loves his family and this country, he's going to be a great president. >> i want to ask you about the clinton foundation. the president of the clinton foundation and worked for bill clinton as secretary of hhs. she said on an interview in msnbc yesterday, no question there was phone calls made to

get appointments for people. it looks to so many if you wanted to get something done for yourself give some money to the foundation, doors open. >> it not only looks that way, but the president of the foundation admitted that. it's breath taking now here we have a confirmation that major foreign contributors to the clinton foundation were given special access to the secretary of state and the state department during her service to the united states. your viewers would do well to be reminded. foreign corporations cannot donate to american people politics. they cannot have access point that the american citizen. >> they do it now. >> it's breath taking. more than half the meetings that she granted while secretary of state, the associated press reported, this is the pay-to-play politics that american people are sick of.

usually the due diligence period is ten days. if some people have been more blessed and buying a luxurious home, a lot of times that due diligence is a much longer period of time simply because we want to know, this is a big home, a big expense, are there any problems, living on the west coast, the only time we know our roof leaks is when it rains, and as you know we've been on a drought. that's a big problem on the west coast. throughout the country, they check for termites, any type of problems, repairs, and when you buy a home, it's the seller's responsibility to disclose any problems. that disclosure, guys, is as honest as a seller that's basically selling you the house. >> yeah, but they could just say, hey, yeah, i didn't realize there was black mold in all of the walls. >> that's why i'm in business, guys, unfortunately.

wants to change. like a flowing river, you can analyze all the minutia all day long, but the electorate is like a river, it's flowing and wants change and donald trump fits the movement of the electorate and hillary clinton doesn't. but when you have a new candidate who has never run for office, it takes time for the electorate to be convinced over time that this big change is something that they are comfortable with, and donald trump has had an incredible four weeks. he's been on message. he has been disciplined. he's talking about serious policies at every single stop, whether it's a rally or a school or church. people are getting comfortable and just like in 1980 when the electorate wanted to change, it took time for the electorate to get comfortable. the other thing is look at the polls, he's over 45, 46, 47%, something that all the supposed experts said would never happen.

well, it's happening. >> it is. we've talked to you at times, maybe the candidacy looked hopeless. a lot of republicans were not on board. you kept saying stay the ship. it turns out you're right. paul manafort was trying to get donald trump to read off the prompter and not ad-lib off the stage and he was unsuccessful. why has kelly ann can conway successful where paul wasn't. >> i think the sustained discipline when you bring in someone new and that person is also disciplined and really a polling and messaging expert and someone that he really listens to and respects, i think that tus just seeing the effects of the discipline that she's been able to bring to the table and to the team, and then the results of that discipline is being seen in the polling.

we all know donald trump likes the polls, at least he listens to the polling. he reviews them. we all know that. now the polls are affirming something that the team is saying is important to the campaign. it's also, i think, donald trump's comfortable with it. one thing to keep in mind this is because donald trump wants to be a policy driven and giving these speeches. not because someone is pounding away in his ear. that doesn't work that way with donald trump. he's doing it on his own. >> he's doing an economic policy speech later on today. of course, later on today, i'm sure you are going to be tubeside to watch dr. phil -- >> dr. oz. dr. phil was jonbenet ramsey. >> dr. oz. he's going to be releasing information about his blood pressure and stuff like that and hillary clinton released more information about what's going on in her life over the last year or so.

why are medical records suddenly something that everybody has got to know more about? >> because hillary clinton had an incredible episode on sunday. i mean, my guess is that if that didn't happen, you probably -- you and i wouldn't be talking had something occur that i think gave people a lot of pause and concern, both for her and her candidacy, and there are things leading up to that episode on sunday, and people are worried about not just her health, but just what's going on, and the problem that she has, of course, it's sort of compounded by the fact that the campaign couldn't be honest about it, so the folks that have already been concerned about whether she was healthy or not are sort of not quite sure what to believe because they lied about the initial incident as to what happened in new york, so look, it's a little bit of a mess for their campaign. we don't want the illness part
