rahani. 51 hours or there abouts since the explosions in new jersey went off. he was shot in the shoulder by police. he was found by a passerby sleeping in a vestibule of a local bar. a police officer showed up and started to question him and that is when there was a shootout that officers say involve more than 30 shots. >> he also did return fire at some point, the gentleman did not get up and he started walking down the street in a westerly direction. i'm hold he was holding a

weapon. i'm not sure who he was shooting at, but our officers returned fire. >> a number of police officers were injured as well. in new jersey, it has been one of real fear after explosions outside of a local railway station here. the thought is that ranhani may have dropped five separate bombs. the speculation from the mayor here is the last set of explosions didn't have sophisticated cell phones and electronics that the other ones did and he may have ditched those while on the run and realized he may have been a wanted man. >> where does the investigation go from here. we saw his mouth moving in some of the video.

the new york and new jersey bombing suspect is in custody, and now we're learning new information about the different types of explosives used at the different scenes. in the chelsea neighborhood, it was pressure cookers. similar to the type of devices that took the lives of three people at the boston marathon
