>> look at abc news. they talked about trump scandals for nine minutes. wikileaks, hillary scandal 30 seconds. nbc 9 minutes on trump. no mention of wikileaks on nbc and cbs five minutes on trump, 26 seconds on wikileaks. donald trump says the mainstream media no longer conducts journalism. >> so many times the elections are decided on things happening in the world. so many things should be going his direction. remember when he talked about strong borders and it gave his campaign, essentially rocket fuel and rocketed past 16 other people. it turns out hillary clinton won't say it publicly, but she's flat out for open borders. remember talking about a muslim ban temporarily. france, that cultured country comes forward and says we have a huge muslim problem and the person who said welcome all refugees, said i made a huge mistake. these are some of the issues that have come back to donald trump's direction but is being smothered by what's happening with these women coming forward.

one point. check out this incredible video of the eyewall approaching. the storm now threatening to bring dangerous surf and rip current to the u.s. coast, including north carolina. so be careful down there, folks. the state, north carolina, that is, still dealing with flooding from hurricane matthew. the death toll climbing to 22. overseas, now, the tensions are reaching a boiling point in the red sea as iran deploys warships to the coast off of yemen. that move less than a day after the u.s. fired tomahawk missiles at targets in yemen in retaliation for two failed attacks on a u.s. navy destroyer. iran claims two of their ships were moved to protect them from privacy. a u.s. official telling fox news that one of the ships has missiles on board and the other has a helicopter. very serious stuff going on there. >> they probably used some of our pallets of cash to give them. coming up for the first time

chief of staff pulling at least one person from a crushed car moments before it burst into flames. two people were on the bus. they were hurt. but they are expected to recover. ainsley? >> thank you. controversy brewing at east carolina university. a marketing professor says that she wants to carry her gun on campus. even though it is illegal in the state of north carolina to bring a gun on a college campus. but she wants to do it to prove a point that all rights matter. it all started when 19 members of the marching band, they knelt down and refused to play during a performance of the national anthem at one of the football games. they were protesting police brutality. those students were not disciplined despite breaking the school rules. why the double standard? dr. tracy joins us with more on this. thanks for being with us. >> hi, ainsley. thank you for having me. >> why do you think it's important for you to carry the gun on campus based on what happened after the kids knelt during the national anthem?

>> a few years ago, i was stopped by an east carolina university student. it was at that time that i became trained to use the gun and able to protect myself. except i can't do that on campus because of that law that prevents. when the student broke the rules and the university said it was first amendment rights. i realized this was an opportunity to emphasize all of our sights ts rights and i should have my second amendment rights to carry on campus. >> what did the chancellor say when you said i need this gun an campus to protect myself? >> i have not had any response sfr the university. the chancellor is saying that's a -- this is a school rule. that the kids are not allowed to kneel during the national an the problem with the gun thing, that's a state law. how do you plan to get past that? have you talked to legislators there? >> i have. i met with senator bill cook

yesterday. i also have meetings next week with county commissioners. we're going to try to change this legislation. i'm going to work with them to be able to do that. one of the most important reasons, for me to protect myself against stalkers and other women to protect themselves, but it also will help with 911 issues. if there were to be a mass shooting at east carolina and teachers were allowed to conceal carry, trained people like myself, we would be able to respond much faster. >> are you planning to carry your gun on campus? >> i won't as long as it's against the law. i won't do anything that would cause me to lose my rights as a citizen. i am too eager to vote for mr. trump come november. what's the reaction from folks in north carolina, some of your friends and other professors on campus? >> in response to my second amendment rights or what the ban did? >> correct. do they think you should be allowed to carry a gun on

pennsylvania primary you went to a rally, a donald trump rally and keep in mind, folks watching right now, he's a lifelong democrat. what did you hear donald trump say that perked up your ears and said wait a minute, that's exactly what i'm looking for? >> well, donald trump hit everything on the nail for me. i saw my choices in the democratic party and i've been very unsatisfied with democrats. they like to raise taxes when they get in a problem. i work in my community, i serve my community and i'm also sworn in by the commonwealth of pennsylvania. and the thing is, donald trump hit everything on the nail that my community needs. as i see people losing their homes, i have people up the street from me that said they can't retire because they can't afford to pay the taxes anymore.
