particular story if what you found is accurate? >> again, we expected the colombia would be the biggest success story and the clinton foundation has been active there since 20 and hillary clinton and bill clinton have made repeated visits after big running in the capacity of the foundation, and hick as secretary of state, and they had great involvement with the leadership and colombia should be a shining example of everything they accomplished. instead, the create on the ground is very different. >> tell us quickly before we have to go about the major donor from canada we have heard about. for him, a great advantage it sounds like being involved in colombia because of his work in oil and gas? that is right, he is a canadian with stock market deals, who was co-founder of lion's gate and started a foundation that is oil exploration company. he has been giving money to the clinton foundation since at least 2005 and pledge over $100

eric, this is unusual in that it came from a private citizen's complaint and goes to one judge who then, now, takes it the next step and there arrest lot more steps to happen before there was potential indictment or conviction or jail time. this is just the beginning, right? that is the very beginning. a private citizen filed this and a judge authorized it to go forward. that could be a problem for christie. he has a couple of his officials in the cabinet who are already in trouble for this. it depends on what they say and what the subsequent charges are. what happens is, people start to talk. they get indicted, they start trying to make deals and hopefully for christie's sake, no one fingers him and said he is the guy he knew and we have proof because they have to proof it beyond a reasonable doubt. >> there is an interesting situation here and this normally would go to the prosecutor's office in the county but he was appointed by christie so this is the question of whether he should take this on and whether

there is the appearance of a conflict and then go to the state attorney general and there are other conflicts that christie worked with or appointed so how do you see this as that christy has with. >> and many times the conspiracy theory they have crazy complaints and this is well-pled and legal and the point he is trying to make is the reason why chris christie was not prosecuted because he's been appointed by people that would oversee him. the federal prosecutors in the case, if you look at the indictment and the listen to the testimony, chris christie knew this was going on and did it for political gain. >> there is an ongoing federal trial right now do you think that wraps up before the probable cause finding against governor chris christie goes anywhere? >> yes. because they never want to interfere with a federal trials. they are in the court, the highest court of the land. sow don't ever want to have a

prosecution that may interfere with that. because out of the forward ca-- case, you may have those that will implicate or testify against chris christie and when people start getting indicted, they start singing like canaries like at the opera house and let me tell you, chris christie is the one that did and i have proof. words are hard to prove but if they show e-mails or text messages or anything to bring him into this, he could be in trouble. >> and chip, i want to read the governor's office reaction saying this is a dishonorable complaint filed by a nope serial complaint ant and political activist with the history of abusing the judicial system and the simple fact is the governor had no knowledge while it was happened and it has been investigated by three separate investigations and it is being appealed immediately. chip, how would you defend him at this point? >> governor governor chris christie, i would do what they
