"the election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing crooked hillary. but also at the polls. saad." for the last few weeks, donald trump has been suggesting that the vote may be rigged.

he's been encouraging supporters that when they vote, hang around the polling places to make sure nothing is amiss. his running mate mike pence on the sunday shows styled back on the idea that the voting is going to be rigged saying we will accept the results of the election. they absolutely, what's rigged is the media bias in the election. listen to what pence said yesterday. >> the american people are very, very troubled. once again, here we are in an election of enormous magnitude in the life of this nation. and once again, the media is piling on with unsubstantiated claims as the headlines while they ignore an avalanche of hard evidence about corruption, pay to play, political favoritism emanating out of hillary clinton's years as secretary of state. >> donald trump spent almost all of yesterday in bedminster, new jersey. much of that involved in debate prep. he'll go over a little bit more of that today before heading to wisconsin where you'll remember

a couple of months ago he endorsed paul ryan, now he's literally at war with paul ryan tweeting out yesterday paul ryan, a man who doesn't know how to win, including failed run four years ago, must start focusing on the budget, et cetera. interview released by wikileaks should quid pro quo in crooked hillary e-mail probe. such dishonest person and paul ryan does zilch. trump will be back in green bay, which is where he endorsed paul ryan. the latest rcp average in polls shows hillary clinton up by seven points. we should point out that a republican has not taken wisconsin since 1984 when ronald reagan won it. some people questioning why he's going to wisconsin at all, he'd be better focusing on other battleground states like florida and ohio. >> it doesn't make any sense. >> he's been in all those states. he's just going all over. >> thank you. >> it's ridiculous.

protecting themselves? when the police don't show up because they can't, a bullet travels faster than a patrol car, what do you need? you need the ability to protect yourself. >> let's look at both of their plans. a lot of people are going to the polls. a lot of my friends down south. this is a big deal for them. let's look at hillary's plan next to donald trump's plan. look at his plan first. you want to go through this, david? >> focus on fixing the broken system. we can use technology and reporting and other means. we already have background checks. by the way, there is no gun show loophole. it goes through a licensed firearms dealer. if you buy a weapon, it goes to them. you have to show up and pass the check. hillary clinton, when you look at what she wants to do, she essentially is doing what we heard russ feingold say. we're going to impede your ability to not buy firearms. there's some that say we want to decide how many you can have. the constitution doesn't say you

get three and you get two. >> if you travel state to state, every state has a different law on this. donald trump does want it to be valid across stayed borders. >> the difference between open carry and concealed carry. people are playing the game of having to go to, say, michigan to get reciprocity in this many states, florida and virginia. it becomes a game and also a legal hassle if you're going from state to state as an american and you just want to transit to go -- whether it's long gun or hunting or the ability to carry a side arm versus going into the next day. we've seen that in new jersey and pennsylvania. >> just real quickly, hillary wants to ban assault weapons, increase inspections on licensed arm dealers, remove legal protection for gun manufacturers and expand background checks. donald trump focused on fixing the broken system as you were talking about. macon seal carry permits valid and improve mental health treatment. >> let's take one key point there. this whole use of the term

grounds. for the democrats, i would also give hillary clinton michigan. >> got to really push it. there you go. michigan and wisconsin where trump is actually compete -- campaigning today in wisconsin. and michigan and pennsylvania, i would say, are leaning democratic right now comfortably as well as virginia. >> let's talk about four key battleground states. talk about nevada, utah, ohio and florida. that really could help trump a lot. which way do you see nevada going? >> nevada has been competitive. but clinton has taken a lead now in nevada. that was a point of competitiveness for donald trump. but now after the debates and after a lot of different things, he's been falling behind there. >> sure. >> utah, where that third party guy is messing up trump. >> exactly. mcmullen is a utah native. of course, trump is not well --

is not popular among mormons in utah. the entire utah delegation has been against trump rescinded endorsements of him. it's becoming a very competitive state. this is really important because utah is reliably red. it's troublesome for trump. >> you want to paint it a color? >> it's still trending republican. you know, he has -- but the fact that it is competitive now shows how difficult this map is for trump. >> it's good. >> a couple other states that we need to -- florida and ohio are competitive. but clinton has started to take the lead in florida too in the averages. a couple weeks ago, that was a much closer race. ohio, too, had been trending for donald trump. he had been leading by wider margins in ohio. favorable demographics for him. always a competitive state. but this time it looked as if it
