he would probably pick up north carolina lana, maybe florida. there may be tossup states. >> he is still behind but by less than romney was. >> like a 50 to 48 loss or 49 to 47. >> still a loss hillary clinton has enough electoral college votes. >> if donald trump has a big night and takes the 7 point margin and brings it to a toss-up we a tossup in the electoral college. in this case trump would have 250 preelectoral votes clinton 243. ohio would flip into trump's category. pennsylvania, virginia and colorado. they will be tossups they will decide the president and you and i will be staying up late to see what happens. >> we will stay up late regardless. do you think these will be a tossup? >> if the popular vote is a tie.

there's other possible combinations but these are very likely decisive states in an electoral popular vote tie. look, just to finish this off. if donald trump has -- if it's a grand slam two outs in the bottom of the 9th he comes back and wins the popular vote big swing from where he is now he would win the electoral college. we so 295 and 217. the two tossup states move into his column. >> it could happen. we have seen crazy things happen in this election. it is possible. >> there are lots of crazy things that have happened in this season. the point for people watching if you are watching the debate that message moves somebody in ohio or somebody in pennsylvania that's not the way to see it. can donald trump move the national polls? can he get to the point where he can win the popular vote? that's what's going to make all of the difference. >> the popular vote the battle

at the same time on the campaign trail he has been suggesting that the entire political system is rigged against him and to some degree the voting is rigged on election day. listen to what trump said yesterday at the xaiven vent in colorado. >> they even want to try to lri the election at the polling booths where so many cities are corrupt and voter fraud is all too common. then they say there's no voter fraud if nothing else people will be watching on november 8th. watch philadelphia. watch st. louis. watch chicago. >> studies from the pugh center and an investigation by the "washington post" said there is voter fraud that exists in the country. it is a small scale but the "washington post" says if it is a close race it will make a difference. you have the precincts that are close it will change things around. one thing donald trump needs to do is highlight the difference between him as an advocate of change and he says hillary

or foreign entities giving money to the clinton foundation. should he bring those up? >> i think he will. i think he has to bring some of those up because obviously people curious and secretary clinton needs to answer to that. what i think she sheeds to be very careful. with certain things, if he attacks the clinton foundation, she could attack the trump foundation. it goes back and forth in personal attacks and the voters for november 8th aren't getting the answers they want on the economy, on homeland security, on jobs, on foreign policy. i think he's going to bring that up and this is where donald trump gets into trouble. then he becomes defensive if she were to say, well, what about the trump foundation and that side of things. >> i didn't have a husband who was president. robert. what do you think? >> i think you get to the point, any leaders, people want to trust the person that they
