we need them for certain things like the environment. our regulations are taking over our companies. we can't compete anymore. we are going to be terminating, repealing and replacing obamacare. we are going to be saving our second amendment. there are a lot of things, sean, i think it's going to be very special. >> and new this morning, a reuters poll that shows trump's talk about the election being rigged about t. against him may be meaningful. half of republican also not accept hillary clinton as their president and 70% say if hillary wins it would be because election laws were broken. late last night trump tweeted the quote the media refuses to talk about three new national polls that have me in first place. biggest crowds ever. watch what happens. and there are a handful of national tracking polls that put trump on top. the ground he needs to make up though is in swing states and pennsylvania appears to be at the top of his to do list. clinton leads by 6 points in the real clear politics average of polls here. but trump came to pennsylvania for two rallies yesterday. and he is coming back to

you can believe it? we are 17 days now until the election. and donald trump says while the polls may not be in his favor, the odds are. he says just look at what happened in the u.k. a few months ago. >> the level of excitement and the people coming out, i think we're going to have beyond the brexit. i think we will go beyond brexit. you know about brexit. >> yes. we had the polls telling us that the brexit wasn't going to happen and the vote would be overwhelmingly in favor and would win the day. and the betting odds slightly reflected that this far out as we are now from the polling day in the u.s. election. this far out on the brexit vote. we were looking 2 to 9. that was about an 82% chance that it remain or 3 to 1 against that it would be leave. however, the -- if you analyze the way the betting has been going, it told a different story. 75% of the actual betting money was for remain but some 70% of the actual bets themselves, individual bets were for leave. now, of course, when you had 100,000 pounds or remain as one of our clients had or one point on leave as another had, those two people only had one vote each. the more significant of the two factors was the number

of individual bets. and now we are seeing much the same phenomenon in our betting on the u.s. election. at the moment we are 1 for 6 for a clinton win and 4 to 1 against, which is only a 20% chance for donald trump. having said that again, we're seeing overwhelmingly the individual big bets are for hillary but the vast majority of the smaller individual wages are for trump. you were just mentions before the break the phenomenon whereby some people know they are going to vote for trump are not prepared to say that in public. we saw exactly that in terms of people who supported brexit but said i'm not going to tell anybody because i don't want to get into a rile. the parallels are there. it doesn't necessarily mean that the same thing will happen. and indeed we have had some clients who have had massive bet on hillary clinton. some had 550500 pounds last week. >> graham, i remember covering the story for fox overnight.

we thought it was going to be a slow night and all the alla sudden brexit wins and everyone was sort of shocked by that and david cameron, of course, steps down we showed the percentage earlier 70% from your polling predicted this to happen. 65 donald trump. here we are listening to the polls, how surprised were you when this happened over in the u.k.? >> personally, i wasn't oversurprised. a lot of people were. and the media was taken completely by surprise. we were betting overnight all night long and it was about 5 to 2 in the morning that all of a sudden brexit became the favorite from. that point on it just snow balled and all those people who had gone to bed convinced that they knew what the result was going to be had to revise their opinion when they woke up the next morning. >> woke up with a different story. >> indeed. thank you very much for enlightening the whole brexit conversation. we will be tracking those bets in realtime. >> thank you. >> you got it. all right.

microphone stuck in their face they don't want their cars vandalized and don't want their houses egged. that's what is happening to people who support trump. they get called zen know phones, homophobes, some kind of phobe. i do think there is momentum for the trump campaign. it's not just because of his rallies. i travel all the time. and whether it's a hotel lobby, an airplane, an airport, a restaurant, i have people all the time come to me. they look around and then they lean down and whisper i'm with trump: it's just amazing. i don't hear anybody coming up to me and confronting me and saying i can't understand that you are for trump because i'm for hillary. one person past few days say i'm going to vote for hillary. they weren't excited about it the intensity for the voters for trump is stunning. >> governor, that's right. i get the same experience speaking to conservative groups. there is that sense that the

the next 18, 17 days? >> well, he has got to -- there are few states in particular, north carolina is one where he -- he was just there yesterday. having an vent there. he has got to keep that. that's the one state that in 20. he has got to keep that state in republican hands. florida is another one that he can't get to 270 without winning florida. ohio is another one where no republican has won the white house without ohio. trump is barely ahead there. that has been one of his strongest states. nevada is another state where he is fighting and is he going to need nevada to be in his column to get to 270. his path is pretty narrow at this point. >> obviously, each of these states, the voters are wanting different things. you have "to focus on them individually. florida as you said is so incredibly important in every election but especially this typically around. what does he need to focus on in florida? >> he has got to make sure that he runs up his score, his numbers in the northern part of this the state, right, in the panhandle. that is going to be crucial. then he has got to win the i-4 corridor.

tampa, hillsborough in that area. to yowf set what hillary is going to do in the super part of the state. that's why trump is invest ago lot of time and energy there because he has got to especially that area around tampa, he has got to be able to beat her in that area to overcome his deficit in the southern part of the state. >> you can always tell where the candidates are a little bit nervous based on where they are putting their offices and spending their money in advertising. hillary clinton you can tell she is doing a lot of that in north carolina. that's a big one for trump to win. what does he have to focus on there? >> north carolina, he has got to do well in the rural areas in north carolina. but he has also got to fight in those suburbs. a lot of these states, it is in the suburbs where this race is going to be won and lost. trump was leading in north carolina just a few weeks ago by a slim margin. he has now fallen behind there by 2.5 points in our average. he has got to recover in suburbs moderate and undecided voter might be left out there. >> pennsylvania is obviously a big one. he has his bigotsburg

>> i think he is 100 percent correct. it's not over until it's over. the only poll i care about that i care about and american people care about is the polls on election day. showing bias now more than ever before. look at the debate on webs they called hillary basically the winner before she ever walked on stage. that's what they are doing in regards to november 8th. >> we have seen in this cycle multiple times throughout the course of 17 days polls went from 6 to closing that gap. what does donald trump have to do? >> well, look, it's so erratic at this point. i think he just have to keep cooking what he is doing. hillary is going to keep doing what she is doing. the american people have already -- we know who these individuals are and i think that this is why there is such an effort on the left with the democrats to suppress the vote. to keep people feeling that this is already a done deal. and that's the only way they can because they can't persuade. donald trump is going to do that today though when it comes to getting more people out. first 100 days, speech in gettysburg about the economy and about national security. onto the issues and people -- that's what people want to hear. that's what they care about

self-reported when they tried to renew their drivers license. so, also that did not even include the counties outside of the major metropolitan cities. these are in outlying areas. this is just 1,000 cases of people that reported themselves. imagine how many other cases there are of people not reporting. look at what is happening in colorado. a woman died in 2009. then she voted in 2011 and 2012. so there is actually quite a few cases of this happening. and the broader scale, pew research did a study in 2012 in which they found that one out of 8 voter registrations was inaccurate or invalid. amounts to 18 voter registrations in this country. almost 2 million dead people still on the roles. a really big issue. >> i agree with historical liberals on this bad people lose faith in the system. why wouldn't they spend their time trying to restore faith in the system rather than denouncing trump? >> this brings up a good question. people always asking you are the republicans doing this or democrats doing this? look who is fighting against it the most? >> exactly. unfortunately we are out of

foundation. so much good work why was huma abedin talking about an event the foundation saying she created a mess. i thought everything that was going on at the foundation was really, really awesome? what was going on there, why it was a mess, was that hillary clinton, according to huma abedin, not according to a critic on the outside solicited a 12-million-dollar contribution from the king of morocco. number one when hillary clinton was secretary of state her department put out a statement about human rights problems in morocco but now they will take $12 million number two in exchange she was saying in addition to that getting $12 million was hosting a clinton global initiative event in morocco in may of 2015. what was the problems, john podesta and robby mook were rightly saying you cannot go to morocco and collect a 12-million-dollar check in may of 2015 when she had just launched her campaign for president. >> that's what craziest of all she had already launched her petition for presidency. how are they concerned are

they about it. over 20,000 emails looked through. this is one of the problems that have arisen from this. are they concerned? >> i think what they're worried about is the unknown, right? so, wikileaks has already put out 25,000 emails. yesterday, they said we have got 25,000 more. and we're putting them out by the way before the election. 16, 17 days await a minute every day they are goings to be pounding these out. who knows what's in there on the other hand, you have got to say despite all of the revelations, hillary clinton is winning. so they are not that worried. unless there is some bombshell tha we simply don't know about right now. they think they have weathered the storm. >> one point i don't think i have made enough. we have spent a lot of time on the clinton foundation. the clinton family personally has taken tens of millions of dollars human rights records abused women and guys. flat out payment for speeches. >> you make a good point. another wikileaks email we went through this week and reported on all week walls

a professor with a remarkable record of predicting election outcomes. and despite what recent polls say and what everyone in washington and on television is saying, this real clear politics poll, including this one, this man is sticking by his prediction of a trump victory. here to explain is stoney brook university professor. procedure, it's great to see you. >> good morning. thanks very much for having me. >> you are almost alone. >> yes. >> among academics predicting a trump win not because you are coming out for trump but because you have a model that you believe leads to the conclusion is he going to win. tell us about this model. how you have arrived to this conclusion? >> two things. the model is called the primary model so i take in account primary elections,

real elections how the candidates are performing. and i can track primaries for about 100 years since 1912. it's quite a set of elections. >> yes. >> it usually turns out that the candidate that does better in his party's primary or her party primaries beats the other guy who does less well. so, in this election, the primaries that i'm relying on is only new hampshire and south carolina. >> yes. >> donald trump came out on top. better than hillary clinton. and the democratic race. >> that seems like a fair measure. and what's the other one? >> the other one is what i call the swing of the spend lump the tendency after, let's say, two terms of white house party being in office. >> yes. >> there is a change. and i can track that actually for a longer period of time for almost 200 years. and that also gives a prediction that republicans are favored this year. >> a lot of us in the tv business make pricks and then we say we believe it do we really believe it? >> um-huh. >> do we believe it enough to bet on it? do you believe your prediction enough to put

voters. >> but energize people initially did i hear your first part of the election basically concede the election, you think it's over? >> i do. >> let me put it this way, if trump were to win given the polls that i see now that have hillary up by six-plus, it would be the biggest political upset in modern history, not just american history but modern history. it's not like brexit. it's a much bigger gap. >> he's saying it's like brexit. and i covered brexit, the results when they came in overnight here at fox. and the mainstream media the polls were all saying there's no way this is actually going to happen. and everyone woke up that next morning totally in shock saying this was so surprising on so many levels. he's saying the same thing could happen here in the u.s. and we aren't seeing it in the polls and mainstream media. >> i agree. but remember brexit was a two, three point spread. and there's a lot of, you know, disbelief on the remains that it would ever go, that people would ever do something so bold. and some say so self-destructive. this is different. these polls have not really

changed very much. hillary has almost always -- 95% of the time been in the lead. this would be bigger than truman/dewy. remember that famous headline. this is even bigger, bigger marge into overcome. and he's not going to get the women. he's just not. >> you may be right about that. it's clearly a big gap to close. but on the other hand is there a boomerang effect because of the press coverage? when i watch other channels it does seem like to be totally blunt a bunch of entitled rich kids sneering at america's middle class. i wonder if there aren't a lot of voters saying i'm mixed about trump, i'm not into that at all and i want to send a message to those people. >> let me just paint a more vivid alternate vision. a woman who has been yelled at by her husband or some man in her life or who has been undervalued or has been left to take care of the kids when the

husband runs off with this or that, think of all of the resentments, all of the subtle resentments that women have endured and have gone on and have coped and now it's election day, now donald trump represents every misfeasance that every man ever committed against any woman. i think it's going to be a huge margin. the main line in philadelphia, for example, is going to go hillary all the way. >> yeah. >> i just really think this will be women electing the first woman in a historic wave election. i think the senate is -- hangs precariously as a republican i see the senate hanging precariously in the balance. the house the republicans will keep with single digits, but i think this will be a wave election. >> but the numbers have also shown us jobs and the economy matter. so if that husband doesn't have a job, there could be a scenario where that changes also. go to bill clinton and get your commentary -- >> can i comment on.

>> sure. >> just one second. >> remember, this is going to be a huge christmas hire. you're going to have hundreds of thousands of temporary people going to work right at the right time from the democrats' point of view. i think unemployment we're virtually going to be a fully employed society. >> i'm sorry, let me call silly on that. working for a month in an l.l. bean call center is not an answer to unemployment problem. >> it's about your vibe, tucker. it's about how i feel about myself. now i get six weeks -- eight weeks of a full wallet. >> but we're watching people take a knee during the national anthem. we're watching our cops be attacked. that's the vibe i see from the american people as opposed do i have a one-month job or not. we had mike huckabee on earlier, he talked about the hidden vote. i think that's the question. how many people they may not love every aspect of what donald trump has said, but the anxiety is deep about their country. couldn't it be higher or greater than people think? >> i disagree.

i was horrified when i saw that person singing the star spangled banner, anthem on a knee. but when you see the ratings of the nfl, for instance, plummeting because people absolute determination not to witness something like that. i didn't watch this football game to see sister soldier. i watched this football game to see a touchdown. i think what you'll see -- my counterargument is an upswell in patriotism even though they've determined in this country that hillary clinton is the secon un first most unpopular person is donald trump. and i think history will regard the "access hollywood tape" as being a pivotal moment in contemporary 21st century. >> but how sad is that? i think you are similar to a lot of people who are still like i don't know who i want to vote for yet. because as you mentioned both candidates have maybe the highest unfavorables we've ever seen. we just witnessed the last debate where they didn't even give each other a handshake.

i mean, when did everything just start to fall apart? chris wallace said this well yesterday, events like the al smith dinner are like the glue that should hold this country together in times when we do feel so far apart. he said i worry that that glue is falling apart. and here we sit with people not happy with either choice in a time we need someone to step up and lead more than ever, geraldo. so what's going to change your vote? what will make you decide one way or the other? >> abby, i agree with your sentiment about the al smith dinner and the dysfunction it revealed. but the only reason i'm undecided has nothing to do with the issues. really has nothing to do with the issues. on the issues there's no doubt i would vote for hillary clinton -- not half a second thought about it, but it's just donald trump has been so good to me and my family with real affection and respect and friendship that it's very difficult to say to your friend, like i like you, i really like you. i think you're amazing talent, tucker. but you and i don't agree on almost anything.

republicans to use him -- >> i'm not saying that, it's there are bigger issues. >> but when you look at the issues, say you just happen to be a latino person, and for half a century one of the most prominent at least notorious hispanics in this country, here is my friend donald trump saying he's going to build a wall, here he's going to have a deportation force, he has done things and said things -- let's say you're disabled and, you know, that the developmentally disabled has been such a big part and he's making fun of disabled reporter. let's say you're a muslim, i have so many muslim friends and he's going to exclude muslims. there's so many things that he says that are so unnecessary -- >> that's shallow. >> that's not shallow. >> what if you want the rule of law? what if you don't want people in a time of war crossing your border unimpeded? it's not just one side. we have a clip of bill clinton who's slamming old white people who oppose immigration. >> all those gray haired white

people. >> these people who are spreading all this division and bad mouthing america and bad mouthing our future, they're against immigration reform when the only thing that we got keeping us young right now are our first generation americans. how are all these folks -- all these guys like me, all these old gray haired white guys how do they think our -- >> takes one to know one, right? old gray haired white guy. >> when is it okay to attack people on base of race? i want to know rules. >> i'll give you 15 seconds. russia has an aging, shrinking population because there's no immigration. the united states has a vibrant growing population with these young brown backs going to support social security going forward. >> it's how you talk about it though. it's how you talk about it.

a lot about this. what should he say, do you think, in his speech in gettysburg today? >> well, i mean, i think that trump has to basically come across as more authoritative and level headed. i don't know if that word covers it, but after the al smith dinner and other things that he has to come across as a guy who is a serious person who's looking out for the folks rather than himself. gettysburg obviously is very emotional to the americans who understand their country. and he has an opportunity there to explain maybe some race relations. that's probably where i would use it. and he has an opportunity to make a good policy speech. >> yeah. that's what he's hoping for. so, bill, you've written about so many incredibly important moments in this country's history. if you were to write a book say 15, 20 years from now about this election cycle, about what has

played out, how do you think we're going to be writing about it? how are we going to be talking about this in years to come? >> it depends who wins the election. that's obviously going to put things into perspective. what's happened here, abby, is that you have had a mi mini revolution among voters. that's how trump won the nomination. and that's why he's put together a base that's loyal to him still after all that has happened. so they're tired of the way the country's being run. that's without a doubt a fact in stone. tired of it, what they call a change agent, that's a cliche, but want somebody to blow it up and start again. now, that's about 40%, i think, of the electorate. that's a lot. but it's not enough to win. now, on the other side you have secretary clinton who has a huge opportunity at the al smith dinner and blew it.

you have her who's basically going to run government the way it's run, been run the last 16 years. not going to change very much, but has gone very, very left. and that upsets a lot of people. that's why she hasn't pulled away. >> bill, months ago, you know, mainstream media almost universally condemned donald trump because they said he was inciting violence at his rallies. we now know those agitators were paid to be there in retrospect, but vice president joe biden was on the trail yesterday and used some similar language. i'm going to play that sound and get you to react to it. >> the press always asks me, don't i wish i were debating him? no, i wish we were in high school, i could take him behind the gym. that's what i wish. >> bill, will they take him literally and condemn him as well? >> no. but, i mean, i don't think that comment is -- look, you're looking at a situation where the

democratic establishment is trying to defect, right? they're trying to deflect away from the wikileaks stuff, they don't want to talk about it so they want to always come back to donald trump. i mean, that's what anybody would do in a political campaign. so that biden knows that comment's going to get a lot of attention, but it's not going to be attention on biden. it's going to be attention on how bad trump is. so that's why they do it. >> so you now have over 20,000 of these e-mails leaked out from wikileaks. i know you have searched through all of these. bill, what is most kconcerning o you when you look at all these things that have come out in hillary clinton's campaign and the people she's surrounded by? >> well, nothing's come out about hillary clinton, that's what you need to understand. if you want to cover this race fairly, you have to be accurate. so there's no e-mails from hillary clinton. none. it's all podesta, john podesta.

and he's the campaign chief and her -- podesta's a nasty guy, he is, everybody knows that. podesta knows he's a nasty guy. so you're getting a view into what the clinton administration will be if she wins because podesta will be running the white house. so he's nasty. and voters got to say, well, it's not her but it's something she's comfortable with. that's the story. >> right. so i want to ask quickly about something you said a minute ago. you said if hillary wins, she'll run government as it's been run for the past 16 years. you're including the bush administration in that. >> right. >> do you see common themes between the bush and obama administration? >> one common theme, that they were not willing to come out of the establishment to be creative and solve problems. they were not willing to do that. so if you look back, president

bush, the younger, the big accomplishment is protecting us after 9/11. and he did that. he did that. there's no doubt about it. he protected this country and he was a patriot in doing what he thought was necessary. did he make mistakes? yes, he did. okay. but he was successful. president obama big establishment is obamacare, which is falling apart right now. and it's not going to be around much longer. but both accomplishments came within the establishment. they didn't go out of the establishment. they didn't say, hey, you know, we need to get race relations, for example, that's the best one. we need to improve that. we need to improve the plight of the people living in the poor precincts. what happened? it got worse. it's worse now than it was 16 years ago. that's what i'm talking about. >> it's really unfortunate thing for sure. bill, we've got to ask you,

you've had so many successful best selling books, you have a new one out right now called "killing the rising sun." tell us about it. >> this looks fabulous. >> well, we sold about 700,000 copies in the first six weeks out, so it's been a monster success. and it is a book that was written for people who really want to know the true nature of the country, all right. what america the essence is, because we hear so many bad things about us now. when you understand after reading "rising sun" that the marines and the naval people, they were 18, 19 and 20, these guys, that invaded e e ed iwo wouldn't surrender and committing atrocities all day long, these were kids, and then the book pivots into the atom bomb and why it was dropped and the unbelievable destruction we put you right on the ground when that bomb drops in hiroshima.

it's harrowing. i tell everybody don't read the book if you have a weak stomach. it's really a tough read. but it's so necessary to understand what happened. and they don't teach it in school. >> no, they don't. >> that is the sad thing. luckily we've got you for that, bill. it's such an important moment in our country's history and an important book to write. thank you for doing it. >> look, the value of this book is that you learn but it's fun to read. it's entertaining to read. you know the tune. there's a lot of great stuff in that book. we hope everybody checks it out. >> thank you for bringing history alive for the next generation of americans who need to remember it. thank you, bill o'reilly. >> good to talk to you. >> thank you, bill. >> okay, guys. >> thanks for getting up so early. we have other headlines to get to this morning starting with this panic at hillary clinton's campaign office after a suspicious substance is found inside of a letter. interns finding the white powder in a letter at clinton's manhattan based office before taking to brooklyn headquarters,

exposing two other people. emergency crews then evacuated the entire floor. police officials say the substance was tested overnight and is not considered dangerous. clinton was not at the office at the time. and now turning to some headlines in russia, they were denied a front row seat to the u.s. election process. three states, oklahoma, texas and louisiana have all turned down requests from the kremlin to send diplomats to monitor polling stations on election day. and this of course after russia is accused of hacking the dnc and providing wikileaks with e-mails in order to influence the election outcome. and listen to this, athletes are not the only ones kneeling during the national anthem. more singers are now joining in on the protest. ♪ whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous ♪ >> kneeling before the miami heat game even wearing a black lives t-shirt. the heat saying we were unaware of it ahead of time. this is not the first time it's
