that blue ribbon accountability review board for less sons learned from benghazi. by the way, already learned from the co-bar towers review board, lessons now implemented by hillary. the same patrick kennedy who appointed the clinton house who then chose not to question hillary clinton the secretary of state about benghazi. kennedy knows ts urgency of destroying this particular e-mail as opposed to thousands of others. so he engages in what some say is an attempt to bribe, and others say, is a quid pro quo discussion. offering the fbi long-sought positions overseas in exchange for getting rid of top clinton e-mails. curious that our ambassador chris stevens personally and his staff requested security more than 600 times to protect their lives. yet kennedy can come up with

positions to cover hillary's career. fbi agent summaries known as 302s say that kennedy actually offered a quid pro quo. fbi positions to declassify and then mark with a code nine, which would then archive the e-mail in the basement of the department of state, never to be seen again. and the kwib agent, although he felt pressure, refused the offer. kennedy then makes the same offer to the fbi head of counterintelligence and when this offer is refused. kennedy, knowing the fbi criminal investigation is already under way, asks, will the fbi make a public statement? when told they will not, he knows the coast is clear. he'll deal with the fbi in the department of justice later. but for now, hillary can publicly lie to all of us.

>> i did not e-mail any classified material to anyone on my e-mail. there is no classified material. >> so now, kennedy, one of the darkest characters in the clinton playbook, and that's saying something, folks, skates. then the 302s are actually released, and congress says, wait a minute, that sound like bribery. obstruction of justice. contempt of converse. is it? the state department, the one that wouldn't even allow an inspector general oversight and the one that had no hillary clinton information available under the freedom of information's press, suggests the fbi is lying. really? both of the agents are lying. maybe they misunderstood. and by the way, since the state department is willing to say that the fbi got it wrong, let's

do the whole mownty, folks, how about the fbi director got it wrong when he said the head of the state department shouldn't be charged. others say, you know what, quid pro quo's horse trading, what they do in washington. we're just not used to watching them make the sausage. come on, not declassifying and destroying tax top secret information on the assassination under the killing of our benghazi ambassador which is under federal subpoena and pertained and preserved. a pathological liar who's actually running to be our commander in chief. others say, this is what they do in d.c. there's no crime. >> but from a criminal point of view, as long as there was no prevention to prevent congress from knowing that the orangeal

classification was to be classified, and then it was changed, if that would happen for public release for four years, that would not be a crime. >> you know, it's very easy to monitor crime. >> since when in the history of american criminal justice would once one to have to announce, here ye before he can be held to an account. if there was no intent to prevent congress from knowing, answer this, why didn't anyone tell congress. of at least the attempt to bribe a federal official or some want to call it a quid pro quo. the fbi didn't, which kind of makes me think that they knew right from the get go. they sure as hell didn't tell congress. and i actually spoke with one

beautiful family, but i digress. contract with america. your dad and gettysburg, saying what he's going to do in the first 100 days. tell us. >> well, listen, i think it was an amazing idea. it's something very different. i think if there's one thing that this election has shown us, people are sick of the same old same old in d.c. sick of the promises that no one ever delivers. the blatant lies that we're reading a lot more these days. and so i think it's something that cleans up thes me. our founding fathers were business people. they didn't envision a lifetime in government where people just get stagnant, they get rich off of the backs of hard working americans like we've seen in d.c. and so, this is a system which will eliminate so much of that. i especially love the part about imposing congressional term limits. people don't sit in a seat, all their friends give rich. give them out lobbying contracts, contracts and buddies are taken care of. those people that lobby for other countries abroad at the

expension of measuring. and putting on term limits, eliminating lobbyists ability to do that for other countries once they've served in government. i think these are the kind of things that the american people to want see. i don't think anyone and frankly i think this is a partisan problem. i don't think anyone on either side is thrilled with where washington has taken us. in terms of debt and everything. i think eliminating this, creating a way for there to be fresh blood coming into d.c. across the aisle. i think we'll do a lot of good for the country and we'll have government to adapt and evolve much more efficiently. >> it's amazing, donald. when people talk about term limits. you know, it's something that i think most americans are in favor of. but most i think spend a lot of time seriously talking about it. and you know, what we see is people going in, you know, we're kind of normal and salaries. and they come out multimillionaires.

>> how is that they possibly could do this? the stuff that congress exempts themselves from. you know, that's what not what this country is about. and i think everyone is in favor of it. and you do see this, people maybe go in with the best intentions, they caught up in d.c. and the free rides and all the special interests and all of the sudden, they grab that power and hold on to it and milk it. the people that suffered are the hard-working men and women of this country. the people that built this great nation, they suffer while everyone around d.c. has gotten rich. and the people are sick of it. again, i think that's a partisan problem. anyone on either side of the aisle thinks that their politicians in d.r. are doing great things for them. it's just not the case. we've seen it too many times. it's time as my father said, drain the swamp. the swamp that is d.c. because it's just not what our founding fathers envisioned.

this is this idea of -- some of the stuff he talks about, term limits, prevents them from lobbying and we all know that some of the legislation in congress that they're talking about, you know, when they say they're going to prevent insider trading isn't really real stuff that's going on. isn't this stuff that the american people are interested in? irrespective of politics. >> well, sure, judge, but the problem is that donald trump once again today stepped on his own message by saying things like unforced errors. talking about the first two things he would do is sue his accusers and the media. that's all you're hearing about tonight. so repeatedly throughout this campaign, donald trump whether it was in the debates or elsewhere says things that are unnecessary and frankly unpresidential. and it stepped all over any good message you would have. >> mary-ann, i wonder about whether or not that's true. donald trump can say a million things and the only thing that gets picked up in the women. man, i'll let you answer that. >> these reforms are

dramatically important. what he's talking about is changing washington. we've said this so many times together judge, which is people want to get the economy going. they want to defeat these terrorists and upend and change washington. he's got to stay on these messages and there's nothing, she is part of the problem. and he needs to stay. >> why? >> you look at all these polls. okay. i think there's a lot of voters that want to put donald trump in timeout from time to time. you know, they hear things they don't like, and they don't to want tell pollsters they're going to be for him. i think this race is going to get very tight at end. all demographers say that, he's got to put together a good 17, 18 days here. >> mary-ann, i want to ask you about something that i recently found out about. and that is a poll called the ibd, the investors business daily, which is some kind of intelligence tracking poll that apparently, you know, you've

heard of it, people cited it throughout the day today in particular because it shows trump in the lead and having accurately predicted the last three presidential elections. >> accurately predict the last three, come on, mary-ann, come on. >> but i think matt made my case for me frankly, but let's talk about the poll numbers for a moment. over the last three debates. this went from a very close race to hillary clinton picking up seven points. and there's a reason because in the debates, when you had 50, 60, 70, 80 million people watching, they rendered their judgment and dhint a very good job in those debates and donald trump had his moments, but then he hurt himself repeatedly. the last point is, i think what you see now is the clinton campaign's on offense as a result in building out more states, going to states like arizona you wouldn't expect, trying to bring senate races along with them. donald trump's still talking to his base and has to run the table on a very tight needle which is tough when he's behind in all but one --

in the race now. just over two weeks until election day. and it's been almost a week since the offensive to drive isis out of mosul and iraq. joining me now fox news military analyst and my friend colonel david hunt. all right. starting with mosul. so last week, all of the sudden there is this initiative, we're going into mosul, and you know, this is it, and so i say to myself, self, what just happened? why now? what have we been doing? does the election have anything to do with this? >> yeah, everything to do with it. the iraqi military was just about to expand the battlefield two years ago. left 50,000 pieces of equipment. we the americans. and they were not quite ready, but president made a decision and all wars are political, so it's timing. it's bad timing because iraqi military is not quite ready, and we've got 6,000 americans over there right now. 2,000 of which are a direct line

of combat. so it's a political decision. >> and we lost one yesterday. >> last week, yeah, thursday. >> all right. and you know, when you say they weren't -- two years ago, they were dropping their weapons and their pants and everything when isis came through. and i just remember reading, not that long ago, that all the money we had spent training them, there were like three people trained. and now -- >> we spent $17 billion -- >> billion? >> billion. it wasn't bad. maliki fired all of his officers. all the sunni officers and replaced them with shia. and that was a main reason they ran off the battlefield. it takes longer than two years to build that kind of an army back up to to take a city like mosul. now assume they take mosul. then what happens in iraq. is it the same thing as when we left before? i mean, isis is still going to be operating in neighboring syria, correct? >> yeah, but iraq's almost a

failed state. and iran's right in the middle of it. >> so what does that mean? >> it means it doesn't work well. i mean, iran has got all the taxis, all the telephones, all the business, they connected religionly. but the iraq itself does in the run well at all. the problem is isis is yes, we'll take mosul, probably take two weeks to a month, but they're going up into syria. problem going after them in syria is going to be the russians. until you get into raqqa and morrow, this taking mosul stops the caliphate, doesn't stop isis. >> stops the caliphate, but not isis. and we can't follow isis into syria because of russia. >> true. >> okay. now iran has always wanted iraq. i mean, they've always lusted for that country, correct? okay, so if we give up -- someone said to me, you know what, if iran is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world, the world's largest sponsor of terrorism and we give
