president obama getting drawn deeper into the e-mail scandal. >> march of 2015. the e-mail controversy just exploded at that point. aids are telling mills that the president just did an interview claiming he learned about her personal e-mail server from the news. mills was the chief of staff from the state department, she knew better, that it was not completely true. so she wrote he needs to clean this up, he has e-mails from her that do not say state.gov meaning they were from her personal e-mail. the president was asked specifically about the server and gave what could be interpreted as a legal lis tick anxious. watch. >> when did you first learn that hillary clinton used an e-mail system outside of the u.s.
