recovery since the '40s, we have 13 million more americans on food stamps, 8 million more americans in poverty and we've doubled the national debt that they've got to pay back. to me, first and foremost, we have la' have really failed this generation and we've got to fix the mess. >> if you look at obama's raised the national debt by $11 trillion over 7 1/2 years, that could have paid all student debt six times over. think about that. all student debt could have been paid off in this country six times over with the amount they've increased our national deficit over the last 7 1/2 years. that's scary. really scary. >> it really is. do you feel nervous about your future? you really do? laura, i know both you and eric do a lot of philanthropic work and help a lot of people that

are in need. here's another statistic. one in six american men, 18 to 34 -- how many men in here are 18 to 34? one living in mommy and daddy's basement because there are no jobs available for them. >> it's scary stuff. look. when i got out of college over 10 years ago it was hard for me to find a job. >> it's really five. >> no. when i talked to kids today and i had been fortunate to go to many college campuses and got to go back to my college, nc state recently. there aren't jobs and we're shipping manufacturing overseas and because we don't have the economy in this country to sustain small businesses anymore. and you know you're right. going to impact this generation of people. and i think we have smart ones here that are going to vote for donald trump. >> who is voting for trump? >> don and i have a lot in

common. like you, i was the troublemaker in my family. i got hit with the belt in my family. today, if that happens, you call the police and say my parents hit me and they'll go to jail. i watched all of you and your work environment. your every day environment and i see a lot of young people and i see how hard they work. if i'm there, at 7:00 in the morning, the office is full. i'm there at 7:00 at night, the office is full. there is an incredible work ethic that exists that your father created for a lot of people. >> without question, that is the way it was with us. we were spoiled. to say otherwise would be laughable but with good experience, incredible vacations. they kept us financially a little bit down. i got nintendo when my friends got sega.

that is how old i am a. they kept us hungry and made us work that way. other problems with the job statistics is people that used to work 40 hours a week, small business can't afford extra regulations and premiums that are doubling and tripling now. people are now working 30 hours instead of 40 hours. they say numbers have gone up, that is people working two jobs okay? just to get by. it's not better job numbers. it's people doing twice as much. so to promote that kind of entrepreneurship to do the kind of things my father is doing is what is special about this. we need someone not part of the dc cartel. it's a bipartisan problem. both sides have created this mess. they've never done it in practice. it's theory, right? we push a button and jobs just magically appear. it's not that simple. with youth, we're giving them a major problem. if we ran our households like the government runs this country, we'd be living on the

streets. and we're making it worse. if you put in typical politicians, hillary clinton, guess what? it's going from 20 to 30. just as fast. there is a point of no return. >> i worry most about what you said. point of no return. here is another statistic i think should shock you. would you be surprised if i told you one in five american families, go down any neighborhood, count four houses and go to the fifth house there is not a single family member in that houseworking today, does that surprise you? there is talk about demographic voting in this election. black americans there is a 58% increase on food stamps and 20% increase black americans not in the labor force. and you're right. we don't count them anymore. those numbers are fraudulent and phony. they don't give you real numbers. >> if you've been out of work six months you don't count. you want the job. you can't have it.
