there. illinois and wisconsin all of the pundits have been saying these are going to flip from republican to democrat. that's why they are blue on this map. however, the polls in wisconsin are tightening there. one poll shows johnson ahead by a point. these are states that let us know something big might be happening. >> those polls after the e-mail investigation? >> before and after. democrats are pouring more money in. i think the message is things are tightening much much closer than we expected. the message here, though if the democrats lass to either wisconsin or illinois, if republicans lose florida, we know something big is happening. that will be a trend setter that will shock us. however, when you look at the senate, these are the four states north carolina, pennsylvania and new hampshire that are likely to be the most competitive. three of them are battle ground states in a presidential race, north carolina, pennsylvania and

new hampshire. here's the question. two of the states, pennsylvania and new hampshire do not allow early voting. so that means if there was any impact from the fbi reopening the e-mail investigation, it will have full force on the battle. >> we will have more polling coming out and who knows what else could come out in the news. north carolina tight between richard burns and ross. >> all four of these states are close in the polls. it is an important time to note the polls lag a little bit. they could be off by 2 or 3 points. the republicans have an edge in several of the states right now at least in the latest. >> it looks all of it within the margin of error. three points at the most. >> this is it. if the polls shift three points in one dictionary publicans can sweep the race. three points in another direction democrats could take
