doesn't win florida it is over. it's game over. ohio he has to win. north carolina he's up a little bit. so he's going to go back there a couple of times before tuesday's vote. so if he start to slide in pennsylvania which e it looks like it's moving a little away from him and doesn't shore you have michigan, or wisconsin he has that one path left of iowa and nevada and new hampshire. and there is one congressional district way up in maine, cd 2 which is one vote. that path brings it to him too. there are a couple of ways he can do it. i tell you this jobs number we talked yesterday, he should be on this. i looked into it. hillary clinton saying this is great. barack obama saying this is great. 4.9 percent unemployment. look inside that jobs number. we lost 103 full-time jobs lastst month. we increased 90,000 part-time

jobs. so what is -- and it was four times worse than that the month before. what's happening is this economy under barack obama has gone from fully employed to people taking part-time jobs trying to pay for their own medical expenses. it's really bad for the vast majority of people. >> the wall street journal on the front page sure had a different story to tell. because they talked about how great this was and especially focused on wages. wages being up for the first time in -- i guess since '09. wages going up and wages going up for the middle class and suggesting, boy, look at the good state of the american economy. trump hoped some of this economic news would be not so good. but, you know, according to people who are economic analysts, not only in the journal but in the "new york times," washington post this morning, there was a very good important. >> isn't that like saying a child finally got his first meal after two weeks. it been since 2009. i mean just by shear randomness

you are going to get an increase if you just hang around long enough. >> what we're dak act is a few days before the election. if that number would have been bad, boy. >> it wasn't though. >> i think you are trying to spin something here. >> i'm not spinning anything. the analysts, same analysts that you think war 2.4 wage growth for a month is fantastic after almost eight years of stagnant wage growth. if that's good, the same analysts said we needed 175,000 jobs last month. we got 161 and most were part-time. >> here is the thing. the bottom line on this was there was concern in what the fed will do in december with regard to interest rates and the fed apart from any politics the analysis this morning was now it looks like they are going to push up. was a this is such good kbhik economic news for if middle class. and consumer confidence up. >> lot of talk about gender politics and last night on bill o'reilly show he correctlily said you have to win -- trump

would need to win 45% of the women vote in order to get his 270 in order to become president. and one thick that was consistent in research i looked at was that women across the board regardless of educational attainment, race or where they live in the country. the two number one issues were national security and personal finances. so it is not about the fed or part-time jobs. it is about the personal finances. do you think there is anything that trump or clntd can do in the next three days that can get back on the issues? >> she has the advantage there where women. that's been shown and demonstrates consistently throughout the whole election process. but this is something that is one of his strongest points in terms of his strong points and he needs to personalize the message and speak directly to the women out there that he is the man who can make sure they have food on the table and money in the wallet and funds to be able to pay for schools and healthcare and all of that. and the national security.

women care about security and that is something where she's been proved he can say he should be distrusted. that she's been incompetent and reckless with your national security. drive those messages home. i think that is something he can work. but except we're a couple days before the election now. so. problematic. >> over the last two days the wall street journal has ed torlzed about both candidates not providing endorsements or non endorsements of either. just saying as they see it. the two editorials, the cost of clinton. and then the gamble of tmp. to which to say there is so much that you don't know. and the last thing it says is on his is another risk comes from negative impulses on the political right that mr. trump's meanest rhetoric has awakened but for her she would face a congress that wants to vigt her from the first day and is polarized and doesn't trust her. >> this election is like an old bra. it is down to the wire and it is

getting under our skin. [ laughter ] >> oh my god. >> you have experience with that? >> yes. yes. well when you stop lifting things go. >> oh my god. >> what issue means most po you? immigration, terror? the supreme court? then you could argue does that negate the misgives for your candidate or does your candidate make those issues worse? that is one way to look oots it. the other way to look at it. which is how i look at it every day is who hates you most? i'm not crazy about trump. right? everybody knows that. but i know for a fact that hillary and her camp, they hate my guts. the hillary people. the most hard core people. they hate us. so it's hard. like i'm not crazy about trump. i find some of his things just completely wrong. but at the same time i know hillary wouldn't throw me a life preserver if i was drowning. so that is where i am in all this. >> well let me ask. what about -- >> -- swim.

>> -- i'm holding on to my bra. >> what about the country? >> yeah. >> i think you have to at some point separate out from the race. do you really in terms of the future of the country trust the most? you know i have kids or grand kids. >> i don't have either so it is all about me. >> all about you. >> okay. -- >> you know what we all have? we all have rights. we all have constitutional rights and we don't want our constitutional rights changed or impinged. that is why for me being a single issue voter with the constitution and supreme court, then you have to side with the gop. and hold your nose, take your medicine and vote for the gop. >> here is why i can't take that. to me what you have in trump is an authoritarian who's in the model of like somebody wrote hugo chavez or vladimir putin -- >> checks and balances. >> he wants to go after the press. he talks about locking up his political opponent. that to me is disquieting.

>> sitcom. >> what you see here is she's also running across the cable universe. but trump is -- the thing that really stands out for trump is it is such a long ad. the two minute ad. clinton is coming back with a longer. >> two minute. >> but none who match obama who had a 30 minute ad. and it fits again with where the candidates are going. where they are going is trump goes to small places like, you know, william, ohio, per she pennsylvania. she -- hershey pennsylvania. and clinton goes to philadelphia and in ohio not only beyonce and the jays. she's going the drive up the black vote. but i think the latino vote right now in the early part is what is stunning everybody. >> and the african american vote is down too. >> last two nights it's been up. overall it's down. the latino vote in florida,

nevada, colorado, it is breaking records. >> we have to go. i'm up to 30 seconds so far on the show. i think she's going to try what she can to get enthusiasm. that is what she has to do at this point. he she wants people to actually show up and say hey i want to vote against trump. come out for here. >> like 30 million bucks left in each of the coffers. is this the best way to spend it? >> i think so. what i might do trump is to ask my people in florida and in ohio and say what do you think is the best way to spend $30 million and have them make their case because they know their districts or states than campaign head kwaursz

clinton is stumping in six toss you have states before the big vote. we're hoping to check in with her debate later. but fist to carl with the latest. >> reporter: hi. the itinerary that he's taking really does speak to a strategy shift. donald trump today announced he's not going to go to wisconsin tomorrow. instead he'll go to minnesota. and this has raised a lot of eyebrows and has a lot of people wondering whether that is smart or not. minnesota has been a blue state for decades and not a state trump has campaigned in. but it is one where what few polls have been taken suggest the race may be tightening. he's going there tomorrow and campaign is there.

also in michigan, another state that's been largely blue for a number of years. and my kpab campaigning in states where democrats have been favored, he hopes to appeal more to suburban voters and the swing voters, moderates and the independents across the country. but he's going to neglect some of the key battleground states where he the absolutely has to win. he started in tampa florida. i-4 corridor. a state he can't aford to lose. a barack obama beat mitt romney in 2012. ohio, north carolina. pennsylvania, and florida are key so there is big questions about whether it is smart, whether the gamble will pay off or whether it is a mistake by going to minnesota, kimberly. >> interesting. we love to talk about this. thank you carl. eric what do you think about this. in terms of the strategy?

>> there is so limited time right now. three days. maybe three stops per day. you have to have florida and you have to have a ohio. ohio looks okay. michigan tightened nicely. so maybe he's thinking if pennsylvania moves away he can get michigan. minnesota, i'm not sure what's going on there. i don't know. maybe he sees minnesota as ten electoral votes there. boy, you know maybe they see stuff internally. a lot of polls we read have different methodology. we've talked about the methodology quite a bit. mare they are going with a different form of methodology and see areas they can pick up. i honestly think, and i could be completely blown out of water on this, i think there are going to be five surprise states on both sides. i think you are going to see two, maybe three democrat blues going red and reds going blue or maybe the other way around. think we're going to have a really interesting election

night. >> what do you think about this strategy as carl laid out? >> i think he has to flip some blue states and i think maybe they feel like pennsylvania is not an option for them because some of the numbers coming out of there recently like this morning show he's falling farther behind. and he does really well across the state except for in the philly suburbs. that is one of the reasons melania trump was there on thursday. so i also point out that he's going to iowa. there is a new poll out that it's tied with clinton and iowa. he does need iowa. i think that it is probably smart for him to just go ahead and try to do something and flip something like a minnesota which remember they voted for jesse ventura. they want outsiders. they like outsiders there. it is not probably the worst idea. >> that's a strategy. i'm sure they know what they are doing. greg what do you think? >> i'm just depressed because nothing matters in my state. if i vote for hillary it is like a shot glass of water in niagara

for sure elizabeth warren has momentum but then again so does bernie sanders has a huge following. i don't think ultimately he would be the nominee but he still has his movement. >> given up on chris christie after the verdict. >> yes i think chris christie has moved on to -- i won't way pastures because that could be taken the wrong way. >> for the democrats i'm going to say governor hickenlooper out of colorado. well liked there. go west a little bit and they could get back to some more conservative moderate democratic ideals and for the republicans i don't think it is anybody on stage right now. i think it somebody who might be governor in 2017 in virginia and he's probably not going to be happy if i say this but i think it might be ed gillespie. >> and if he had given a little more money to the race he would have been won. >> i think trump is going to have an impact on the choices and they might not be who you think.

together." what was interesting on the plane is her campaign manager walked us through analytics of the early voting. they are feeling very good about florida right now. they are saying the early voting by tuesday there were about 60 to 70% of the vote in florida will be done and they are seeing record turnouts among latinos. they also said in nevada where early voted ended on friday night that donald trump would need to win by 10% in nevada on election day in order to take nevada. they are going to be focuses now on states that don't have early voting. they are going to be in pennsylvania. pennsylvania didn't have early voting. new hampshire, michigan. hillary clinton going out to typically blue michigan. a lot of questions about does that mean they think they have trouble in michigan? but she's done a lot of radio interviews today. they say a lot of their audience are women who are in cars and that is why so many radio interviews. we're heading to the katy perry and we'll talk to you in a few minutes. >> jennifer, thanks so much. we appreciate it. by the way, you don't like early
