together in the country are the brave men and women. thanks for watching and thank to my father. thank you for watching, i'm sandra smith. this is "the kelly file." tonight anti-democratic left wing agitators and hollywood liberals are absolute ling losing their minds because donald trump has been elected our next president. >> in her lifetime she deserves to be the first female president. >> will this lun asieh ever end? larry elder and the reverend darrell scott are here with reaction. >> we need great people negotiating our deals for us. >> then president-elect trump moves ahead with transition plans. what will the trump administration look like? kellyanne conway is here to react. real change begins with immediately repealing and replacing the disaster known as
10:01 pm
obamacare. >> and donald trump promised to repeal and replace obamacare. so how quickly will he be able to do that? all of that plus kimberly guilfoyle. "hannity" starts right here, right now. welcome to "hannity." tonight anti-democratic liberals are completely losing their minds over president-elect trump. left wing agitators have been taking to the streets to try to undermine mr. trump's decisive victories and democrats are doing nothing to discourage or stop them. president-elect trump is talking about bringing the country together after a very long and hard-fought campaign. the left is starting violent protests. they're spewing hateful rhetoric, and even attacking donald trump supporters. now, according to the chicago tribune, a day after the election in the windy city a man involved in a traffic incident was then viciously beaten because an angry mob just assumed he was a trump supporter. we have to warn you, this video is very disturbing. take a look.
10:02 pm
>> he voted trump! yeah. [ bleep ]. >> pay for -- >> beat her [ bleep ]. >> don't voe trump. >> don't vote trump! [ bleep ]. you just [ bleep ]. y'all be gone. >> beyond disgusting, but the left apparently doesn't think it is worth reporting. the chicago tribune that the man voted for trump, but no way the attackers could have known it because he never told them. in portland, oregon dozens were arrested after police say left wing agitators started a riot by attacking drivers and smashing cars and destroying businesses. where are the democrats, the leaders, where is hillary, where is obama on this? why aren't they speaking out
10:03 pm
against in unpay receipt otheric behavior. democrats love to claim they're the all inclusive party, but it only applies when their side wins the white house. what happened to the democrat's campaign theme? remember, when they go low, we go high? remember, it wasn't too long ago they were saying this. when someone is cruel or acts like a bully, you don't stoop to their level. no, our motto is when they go low, we go high. so we're going to take to heart the words of our wonderful first lady, michelle obama, when they go low, we go high. >> meanwhile, they all took the low road during the campaign. let me point out that these are the same people who nearly lost it when donald trump said at the third debate he would wait until after the election actually happened to accept the results. well, they expected trump to accept the election results, so why won't they? there's also the massive hysterical and, quite frankly, predictable freak out from
10:04 pm
hollywood liberals. take a look at poor miley cyrus and how she reacted to donald trump's big win. it is very sad. >> i do want to say i've been very vocal for my support for everyone besides donald trump. heavily supported bernie, heavily supported hillary, and i still think that in her lifetime she deserves to be the first female president. and that's what makes me so sad, is that i just wish that she had that opportunity because she's fought for so long. >> wow. what do you say to that? now, she is not alone. miley cyrus, cher has called donald trump pretty much every name in the book and said if he won, she would leave the planet. there's also madonna. she was reportedly spotted at a protest in new york city where agitators were kranting, he's not my president. your life, by the way, is not going to change one bit. your rich, fancy lifestyle, your leer jet lifestyle, big limo

seens, fancy dinners will not end. the world will not end. you will still make millions of dollars on your crappy movies and do every single thing you normally do. enough of the little baby temper tantrums going on here. what is going to change is the life hopefully of millions of forgotten americans, the forgotten man election i call it, who have seen their jobs disappear, who haven't had a raise in years, with the lowest homeownership rate in 50 years, lowest participation rate since 1970s. 95 million americans out of work. you know what? two to three jobs people are taking to support their families, they're not living your lifestyle. healthcare premiums sky rocketed for average american. people completely ignored by political elites in washington, and all barack obama did was make it worse. donald trump ran for president to help them, to make their lives better. when he puts his policies into place, hopefully all-americans will benefit. here with reaction, nationally

sin indicated radio talk show host larry elder. my friend, the man, the reverend darrell scott who served as ceo for national diversity coalition for donald trump. pastor, maybe you knee prayer, fasting. what do you make of this freak out that's going on? >> listen, the hypocrisy of the left is on full display for all-americans to see. if you think about it, all of the violence, all of the deceit, the trechery, the underhandedness, the dirty tricks, they put nixon to shame. it all came from the left. cher, maybe we could put our money together and get her on one of the trips to the moon, from one of those private companies. send her to the moon. miley needs to go somewhere, be a little wrecking ball or whatever. but, you know what? i think the protesters are protesting against the wrong person. they need to protest again the democratic party and the hillary clinton campaign on how they colluded together and stole the
10:07 pm
election, the nomination from bernie sanders. bernie sanders might have stood a better chance against donald trump than hillary did, but they conspired against him, stole the election, put their candidate up. she got destroyed by trump and now they're upset. there's nothing they can do but whine and tear up something. we see where all of the violence is from. we see where it is all coming from. they can't hide it anymore. they can't blame trump. trump ran a clean campaign. they can't blame trump for this one. >> one of the things i think was under reported, larry, was his new new deal for black america, for african-americans. if he goes into cities like chicago and he takes on the violence, he changes the educational system, he creates -- if he is able to incentivize corporations to bring back trillions and corporations lowering their tax rates, bringing them back to america, hopefully they'll set up shop in detroit, in wisconsin. >> right. >> near where pastor scott lives and in pennsylvania. this could be a real, real
10:08 pm
opportunity to transform things in a very positive way. >> absolutely. and if i were one of these anti-trump protesters, sean, i think i would have to ask myself a few questions. how is it that donald trump managed to double the percentage of the black vote compared to john mccain and mitt romney. how did he get a higher percentage of the hispanic vote than mitt romney? how is it before he became president if he is anti-guy, he was severely criticizing the clinton foundation contributions they got from countries like saudi arabia where homosexuality is a crime punishable by deaf. how did he embrace ivanka's husband who has converted to a ju, another son who is jewish. a lot of executives who are jewish in his organization. when he gave his accept speech he said, i'm going to address the polite of the inner city. how is it this man is considered to be such a bigot?
10:09 pm
if it is bigotry, he needs to go back to racism school. >> yes, reverend, what is your word to people that maybe didn't support donald trump? i don't think there's one economic measure you can look at that says, oh, things have gotten better in the last eight years. what is your message to people that may be in that freak-out mode because maybe they believe the lies and propaganda of a very biassed media? >> they need to relax, take a deep breath and chill out and get ready for quite possibly the best eight years america has enjoyed in a very long time. i really believe donald trump is going to usher in a golden age here in america of peace and prosperity. i'm not making him out to be a messiah figure, but if his policies are enacted he will revitalize inner city, stimulate economic growth, borders will be secured. this spirit of fear, the
10:10 pm
attitude of fear the democratic party has imposed upon america, he's going to soothe those fears so to speak and we're going to look up and be glad this man became president. >> right. >> when he said you have nothing to lose, what he was simply saying was give me a chance. if they give donald trump a chance, if we give donald trump a chance we will be glad about the decision we made. i can tell you that zblch all right. larry, last word. >> sean, if obama had done nothing we would have had 3% gdp. we had 2%. the difference between that is one million jobs times the number of years of recovery. all trump has to do is reverse many of the stuff obama has done such as obamacare, such as the ridiculous regulations he put on the backs of american people, allow choice in inner city schools and this economy will boom. lower tax rate and the economy will take off. >> all right. guys, i think you both were very strong supporters for donald trump. >> we were. >> and i think you helped him a lot in this election.
10:11 pm
thank you both. coming up today, president-elect trump announced vice president-elect mike pence will be serving as chairman of his busy transition team. mr. trump's senior adviser kellyanne conway joins us later in studio. later tonight. >> if it we don't get rid of obamacare, it will destroy healthcare in north carolina and all over the united states. we will build a great wall and, yes, mexico will pay for the wall. they're going to pay for the wall. >> president-elect trump promised the american people he would build that wall, repeal obamacare. the "wall street journal" is reporting tonight mr. trump may be willing to keep two parts of it. what are they? is it smart? we will explain later tonight. ♪

have a great night. we have the greatest negotiators in the world, greatest businesspeople in the world. we're going to use these great businesspeople. so many endorsed me, so many others. we're going to use our great leaders and businesspeople. it is time. >> president-elect trump on the campaign trail promising he will surround himself with great people when he enters the white house. earlier today mr. trump announced vice president-elect mike pence will serve as the chairman of the presidential transition team, and his family will be part of it. joining us with reaction is the president-elect senior adviser, kellyanne conway. a lot of people have been calling me today about transis this, transition that. why don't you tell us. we'll ask you straight up, what is going on? >> well, we're trying to form a federal government, and it is up to president-elect trump to choose the advisers he wants around him on his senior team, key position. it is a big task but one worked
10:16 pm
on away from the campaign by the transition team that was originally headed up by governor christie who still serves as vice chair. but it makes perfect sense to have vice president-elect pence with this role because most of the transition will go on in d.c., some here in new york, but also because mike pence will be the vice president. a lot of familiar faces, a lot of familiar names on the list. those of us who have been here, those who have been trusted advisers, elected officials for governor pence and mr. trump, and we're excited to see how mr. trump forms his government and team. >> i guess the fear that i heard from some people was that will donald trump put people maybe that weren't as loyal to him during the campaign and surround himself with people -- i would argue the cut and run people, you know. they're only there -- they're there now, but they weren't there during the tough moments in the campaign. is that a possibility or that won't happen? >> well, beyond the donald trump values loyalty, it is very important to him and he is loyal
10:17 pm
to people in return. but in addition you want to find people who are qualified and effective to do the job. i think those are probably the two major criteria for him. i will tell you that there are very talented men and women who were a part of his campaign and, frankly, who were a part of his outside advisers or folks that just supported him and did so vocally and visibly. we're hearing from many of them. there's a process in place. we have an executive director who is working tirelessly to process some of these credentials and see where we are, but i think the most exciting thing that happened this week is the people spoke and they had an election, it is for them, sean. i've been in polling for decades, you've been doing it for decades, people got their wish, they got the out sider, the non-politician. they got somebody to go to washington as our president who owes no one anything. that is truly an election for the people of the people and by the people. >> you know, there's always what we call a h period.
10:18 pm
i suspect mr. trump's case it may not be as long as he probably hopes for. to me his job is probably simple and it is probably something he's used to. in other words he made very strong commitments about supreme court justices, about refugees, about the wall, about obamacare, about energy, about education, about our vets, about national defense and national security. to me if he just follows that list, i would think those people that supported him will be happy. he made promises about taxes, corporate tax rates, repatriation. if we could send that money to the most depressed areas, people that want to build manufacturing centers and factories, i think we could see a quicker recover than we saw then the reagan years. is it on the table? >> it certainly is and it is worth a try. if you want to know what
10:19 pm
president donald trump is going to do, read his 100 day plan. it is there for everyone to see. it is specific and includes solutions, policies, and i think the excuse of divided government that allows people to get nothing done is over. the electorate gave donald trump the white house, but they also gave republicans control of the house and senate so that he would have mandate. he would have the tools and equipment to let him pass these pieces of legislation that he has promised. look at that 100 day plan, it is what you just mentioned but also things like expanding educational opportunities, something governor pence has done masterfully in indiana, is expand vocational and technical educational opportunities. not everyone is college material, so you graduate high school with a skills certificate and you're employable, especially to an administration that wants to bring back jobs that have been shipped off to china and mexico. we also, let's not forget, sean, we have a vacancy on the united states supreme court. so obviously that's a big priority. mr. trump has already put out
10:20 pm
his list of possible nominees. >> how certain are you he will choose from that list? >> he said that he will. >> i believe he will, right. >> he said that he will, and what is important about that list is everyone on that list is qualified to do the job and everyone on that list is in the mold of an antonin scalia. that's important to him, someone that would respect the constitution and they don't make up the law as they go along. >> you spent a lot of time with donald trump. do you think he understands? there are now a lot of people kissing his ring and sucking up and he's going to be the president. they probably will be the first to cut and run when things get tough, and it is inevitable things are going to get tough as they do for every president? >> well, perhaps, that's human nature. but what i do know about donald trump is the man is brilliant and he is fabulous instincts. he read america spot on correctly. his message and him as a messenger and his delivery, his
10:21 pm
delivery system through the rallies, through digital communication, some advertising, but really just his personal delivery system and his delivery style is what resonated. i think anybody who is going to work in his administration, sean, will realize this is his presidency, this is his voice, these were his choices. people elected him and mike pence to do the job, and people ought to be supportive of that if they want to be part of the administration. i have to tell you the never trumpers have been a little quieter since tuesday night. they have a right to say what they want but they were dead wrong. people were dead wrong about the data, about who is in the electorate, about our chances in the upper midwest, about our chances in blue states that president obama carried twice, where i've been saying for months hillary clinton's ceiling is 46, 47%, she can't get past it. we have an opportunity. it is his message. you know what? you learn from this election, quality candidates matter. we were always going to be out spent and never out worked or out classed. his message in the last couple of weeks was positive and up
10:22 pm
lifting but also very tough and very specific, but it was not negative and nasty. we took all of the incoming from the other side, and history will show that the woman who lost as the first female president of the united states did it in the last couple of weeks with a very nasty, negative campaign. she paid tens of millions of dollars to just descend upon donald trump, stop him, and it didn't work. people saw right through it. >> yeah. all right, kellyanne, i assume you didn't get a lot of sleep this week. can you count the hours -- >> i know it shows. it doesn't matter, i'm absolutely -- not many, but i'm absolutely euphoric donald trump is our next president and mike pence is next vice president. it is great for the country and i will support them anyway i can. >> congratulations to you. certainly i know you put in a lot of work. >> thank you. >> when we come back, coming up next tonight on "hannity." real change begins with

immediately, immediately repealing and replacing the disaster known as obamacare. >> president-elect trump promising one of the first thing he will do is repeal, replace obamacare. mr. trump spoke to "wall street journal." he said there were two parts of the law he would be willing to keep. what are they? we will explain when we get back. we will check in with austan goolsbee who owes me money and ari fleischer tonight on "hannity." hannity. >> what the others aren't covering. what the media is missing. and what america needs to know. when it comes to the issues impacting you, no one tells you the truth like tucker.

10:25 pm
10:26 pm
obamacare. >> all right. that was now president-elect trump promising to repeal and replace obamacare. today according to "wall street journal" mr. trump said he would consider leaving in place two parts of the law. the report reads, quote, mr. trump favors keeping the prohibition against insurers denying coverage because of preexisting conditions and a provision that allows parents to provide years of additional coverage for their children on their insurance policy. by the way, both republican plans the replace had those provisions in them. joining us now former white house press secretary ari fleischer and the man that had a bad week that will be good for the country, because now we can undo all of the damage of austan's horrific economic plan. i guess we can't undo the damage of the debt, more debt than every president before him combined. how do we undo that, austan? >> well, i can tell you how but it doesn't begin with electing trump. you're right, it was a tough week for me. >> i'm so sorry. and you owe me money but we'll
10:27 pm
deal with that in another show. you know, look, ari, this is going to be a lot harder than just saying repeal and replace because now we've got to put in place a plan where people can transition hopefully to healthcare savings accounts by -- every republican plan included preexisting conditions that i saw, portability job to job, buying across state lines, and free market competition for the plans. but now getting off of obamacare, how long does that take? >> well, you put your finger on it. the repeal part was the easy part. the replace part was the harder part. now republicans have to honor both. i think it would have been more artful if the president elect said we're going the repeal obamacare, and when we replace there are provisions we might want to include it. we would be better off if he put it that way. >> he said it that way. >> if you look at the "wall street journal" story he says we're going to edit, modify,
10:28 pm
repeal or replace obamacare. he shouldn't say modify. repeal it and then -- >> but he was clear on the campaign trail to repile and replace. >> he needs to stick with that, and so do the republicans in congress. we will end up with a skinnier provision, probably along the lines of catastrophic healthcare instead of the government mandated plans. >> i mean how much will the taxpayers end up having to subsidize as well? at some point now that obama took on more debt than 43 other presidents, we have a debt problem and we also have an interest rate problem that at some point those rates are going to go up, and that's going to impact the interest we are paying back on the debt. >> well -- >> austan, go ahead. >> i think if he's going to start thinking on the deficit
10:29 pm
and debt way, i think it is going to run head first into his tax plan that he's outlined as one of his first priorities, because he's not proposing ways to pay for that tax plan. so i think he's going to have to set some priorities here. i hope -- you know, clearly he won the election. he won by the opposite of a landslide. in previous very close elections there are different approaches. john kennedy's approach when he won by a whisker was to say, okay, look, i realize half the country didn't want me here and i want to be a unifier, so i'm going to start my priorities with the things we can agree on and then we will move to the next thing. >> i think all of that -- >> if he starts that, if it starts with infrastructure, if he starts with some of the more unifying things, i think he could be a very successful president. >> yeah, all of this -- >> why would he -- >> your agenda, i think he should start with the wall. >> i'm not talking about my
10:30 pm
agenda. the majority -- >> he should start with lower corporate tax rates, re-pate ration of millions. repeal and replace obamacare, he should start with education back to the states. you know -- >> okay, but, look, if it involves 20 million people losing their insurance -- he won, he won narrowly. actually more americans voted for his opponent than voted for him. >> ari. >> yeah. >> you know him and he respect you. >> let's cut to the chase here. all of this comes down to the central issue of our times, which is economic growth and the lack tlhereof in the last eight years. if president trump can put into place provision for kportd tax returns and individual tax reform and policy toss get economic growth revved up, it solves the problems you were raising about interest rates, about deficit, about revenues. all of it is tied to growth. it's been failure of the obama years, what led to dissatisfaction among working
10:31 pm
class people because they haven't gotten raises. economic growth is the cornerstone of it all and this is what the trump presidency will rise or fall on. >> i totally agree with that. >> that's why the lower tax rate -- first of all go from seven to three. the lower corporate tax rate will incentivize corporations to build factories, manufacturing centers, the one-time 10% tax on trillions -- >> right, repatriation. >> that will be a boone to the factor. one more factor, energy independence. if we have a goal of energy independence including the keystone pipe like, coal mining and fracking, millions of jobs are created immediately. >> look, if those work, that would be great. all i would caution -- and he respects you, sean, and i want you to talk to him. if he just is going to propose the things that george w. bush proposed when he came into
10:32 pm
office, the growth slow down is not -- did not start with obama. it started with bush. >> it started with clinton. >> if he could break out of that. >> the sloegt -- >> no, no, no, austan, the growth slow down started in the summer of 2000. as you know, george bush inherited a mild recession. september 11th turned it into a worse economy, and the economy boomed from 2003 to 2007 as the bush tax cuts took place. >> it barely boom and was followed by the worst downturn. >> absolutely wrong. >> all right. we got a lot to go, guys. the community reinvestment act definitely played a part in hurting the economy and bush paid the price. >> oh, no, no, sean. >> you can't lend money to people that can't afford to pay it back, austan, unless you're going to pay it back. >> giving tax cuts -- we can agree on growth. >> good to see you both. up next on "hannity." >> we will build a great wall and, yes, mexico will pay for the wall. they're going to pay for the wall. >> president-elect donald trump
