be listed. >> because the hospital had the write it down. >> that's going to be a rivalry lat later. that's incredible. we'll see you back here tomorrow. have a great evening. thanks for joining us. breaking tonight, donald trump names his chief of staff. one of two key appointment in the new administration. hello and welcome to a special sunday edition of justice. i'm judge jeanine pirro. the word coming from trump power, reince priebus has been named white house chief of staff by president-elect trump. he also announced today that stephen bannon who served as ceo of the trump campaign has been named chief strategist and senior counselor to the president. mr. trump did his first sit down
9:01 pm
interview his election win on tuesday on tonight's "60 minutes." among the tiptopics, the president-elect got specific about his deportation plan. >> we're going to get the people who are criminal and criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, we have a lot of these people. we're getting them out of our k country or going to incarcerate. after the border is secured and after everything gets normalized, we'll make a determination on the people that you're talking about. who are terrific people, they're terrific but we're going to make a determination at that. before we make that, it's very important, we want to secure or border. >> so much to talk about tonight. back with me now is communications direct tor for t trump transition team, jason
9:02 pm
miller. weren't you in washington last night? >> i was. good to see you again. >> let's start with the two appointments when we speculated about reince priebus and chief of staff. it's really the gate keeper. reince is someone who gets along with president-elect trump and someone who also gets along with paul ryan, a big plus, i assume. >> absolutely. here is what the beauty of this pairing of steve bannon come ng as the chief strategist and counselor to the president as well as reince priebus as the chief of staff. we have someone who knows what mr. trump wanted to do, has a good vision for how to get there. we have someone in chief of staff priebus who has the relationships to go and make that happen who knows how to run government and knows how to put all this together. really this pairing of the two
9:03 pm
will put the president-elect in the best possible position to be able to do it. that's the important part. >> all right. now in this first interview with "60 minutes," the president talking about one of the most important things and themes in the campaign, deportation of illegal, criminal aliens. he talks about those individual who is are drug dealers, gang members. talking about building a wall.s people who are terrific and will make a determination once the wall is built, once we get word of the drug dealers, gang member, we'll talk about keeping some of others. >> this is the exact same thing that president-elect trump has been saying during the entire campaign. he said we have to secure the border and deport the criminal illegals and address what we do with those who are still here. over this course of time, the immigration rules that need to be enforced and whoever is put in homeland security will make
9:04 pm
sure we're doing that. this is what the president-elect has been saying during the campaign. it's consistent with what he's said. >> what's important about reince priebus is you have mccarthy and ryon who want to secure the border before they deport anybody, but i don't know whooi you can't do both. knowing president-elect trump, i'm sure he will do both. let's talk about something that was rather surprising in the "60 minutes" interview. it has to do with the question is to whether or not james comey, the head of the fbi will be asked to leave by the president-elect. >> fbi director james comey, are you going to ask for his resignation? >> i think that i would rather now comment on that yet. i haven't made up my mind. i respect him a lot. i respect the fbi a lot. i think -- >> even though they leaked so much? >> there's been a lot of
9:05 pm
leaking, there's no question about that. i would like to talk to him and see him. it's a tough time for him. i would like to talk to him before i answer a question like that. >> your reaction? >> very measured response. here is what i've been impressed about with the president-elect. he knows exactly what he wants to do. with 60 minutes you have the attempt to bait him the try to go in a different direction. when i spoke with him last night, he made very clear, i'm going to go in, get our economy back on track. i'm going to get the jobs coming back. we're going to secure our border and repeal and replace obamacare. he's very focused with what he wants to do coming out. that's what you'll see when he takes over. >> that question would have been a real woman. the donald trump that people saup saw in the campaign trail is a little different than the more measured president-elect trump. the head of the fbi is a ten-year term. the whole concept is he will be beyond just one term or two terms of a president. at the same time, he can be
9:06 pm
asked to give his resignation. you know what else is interesting about this is that when leslie asked president-elect trump if he's going to ask for a special prosecutor, in line what you were saying to investigate hillary clinton about the e-mai e-mails, he immediately started talking about jobs and getting the economy going. he's acting the presidential way he said he would. >> for anyone who has been a supporter of mr. trump and anyone who voted for him to become our next president, this is exactly what they've wanted to see. absolute crystal clear focus on what's important once he becomes president. our government has been so politi politicized. we saw it with all these different levels. we need to have much less political activity out of our official government than what we've been seeing. i think people will like what they see with mr. trump and should be excited.
9:07 pm
>> all right. thanks for coming back this evening. good to see you. >> thank you, judge. >> joining me now is the former governor of the state of arkansas and former gop candidate for president of the united states, mike huckabee, governor. thanks so much for being with us tonight. >> thank you, judge. great to be here. great, great week to say the least. >> indeed. i must agree with you, governor. i was a little hoarse on wednesday and a little tired. it is a great, it has been a great week. governor, i want to ask for some sound here. i want you to take a listen to part of what we heard tonight on 60 minutes with president-elect trump. >> having to do with abortion if it ever were overturned it would go back to the states. it would go back to the states. >> some women won't be able to get an abortion. >> it will go back to the state. they'll have to go to another state. >> that's okay?
9:08 pm
>> well, we'll see what happens. got a long way to go just so you understand. that has a long, long way to go. >> all right, your reaction. >> well, let me say as a pro-life person for whom this is a non-negotiableable . i'm so proud of him for being clear. i don't see how people can call themselves civilized when they can take the position by his opponent who supported late term partial birth abortion. i thought the way he handled that issue in the debate and tonight, showed he has convictions about this. these are not political conveniences. that's refreshing to those of us in the pro-life world. this is an issue of whether we're a civilized people and the fact is he's not going to get to solve this all by himself. i don't think he thinks he is. he made it very clear that when he looks at people who will
9:09 pm
judge things and particularly supreme court justices, he wants people who have a clarity about issues like life. let's face it, most of us go back to roe v wade, they had to manufacture a basis. there's nothing in the constitution about abortion. it was a political decision by the court, not a legal or judicial one. >> the interesting part of this is that the whole concept of interviewing judges or seeking judges and assessing their qualifications, for the most part we don't ask them to prejudge a particular issue. as a former judge myself i know this. it seems to be accepted these days. the democrats say we want someone who is pro-choice and the republicans and conservatives say we want someone who is pro-life. would you agree with me that that is something that isn't generally considered necessarily
9:10 pm
necessary when we decide that we want to put a judge on the court. >> i think what we really need to ask is do you believe the judicial branch is one of three equal or do you believe in judicial supremacy. do you believe the judicial branch can legislate and make up law because it's politically expedient or maybe you're acting on behalf of a congress that doesn't want to touch the issue. i think that's the biggest issue. with need judges who understand the limitations of their branch of the government. since the 1940s, they haven't had that limitation. they have acted as if they are legislatures. that's totally against what the constitution says their role can be. >> activists. right now it's a 4-4 split with a conservative appointment in the place of judge antonin scal scalia. there's no case that i'm aware of right now that is bubbling up
9:11 pm
the pipeline for the judges to even consider roe v wade. as you know any, if it were to ever be overturned, it would go back to the states. it's an individual call by the states. >> some states there would be no abortions. states like my state of arkansas. there are other states that probably would have more abortions just because they are so liberal about it. i think the bigger question is this is ultimately not going to be decided judicially. it will be decided by a culture that decides that every human life has worth and value and there's no such thing as a human being that is worthless. if the child with down syndrome is just as valuable as the c captain of the football team and there's no time that we would deem something unworthy of respect and dignity of life. that's where we really will ultimately win this battle. i think donald trump has
9:12 pm
clarified time and again on the campaign trail that's his view. it's one of the reasons, i'm convinced he will not be a good president, i think he'll be great president. >> well said. >> i'm very excited that he won. >> thank you so much. >> thank you. >> all right. the brexit vote in the uk was a precursor to the president trump victory here in the united states. you heard it here first because i told you during my opening statement right after the vote. tonight, i had chance to speak with nigel farage who led the movement. he met with trump on saturday and spoke with me about the meeting. thanks so much for being with us tonight. i know you're getting on plane. we appreciate your time. you were the head of the independence party in the uk and you led it to victory who what comes to be known as brexit
9:13 pm
which told me in june that donald trump would end up winning. why brexit, how did you win and what did it tell you? >> easy peasy. the political class come together supported by the big banks, big businesses. for the last few years at dinner we say what is going on and what can we do? brexit did was give them chance to give them a thought and we won. that was an inspiration to donald trump, to team trump, to the activists to say you can beat the establishment but what you got to do, you got to go out and vote. brexit was termed by non-voters coming out to vote and trump won. why? because democrats just couldn't raise the energy to go an vote for hillary. >> non-voters -- >> they came out for trump. >> speaking of trump, i think we have a picture here. you were at trump tower yesterday. i think you're one of the first people to meet with him. you consulted with him during the presidential campaign and
9:14 pm
most americans have not seen donald trump without a tie as we can see him there on the screen. i hear that it was a very comfortable, everybody had a great time with the president president-elect. >> it was laid back chat. >> what was it like? here he is. first meeting as president-elect. >> he was thoughtful. he was reflective. he was throwing a few ideas about what he would do as president. this has been a vicious campaign. the most vicious ever in the u.s. presidency. he's 70 years old and he was doing six rallies a day in the last few days. we saw him yesterday. i thought, this guy is tough. also, this guy is now thinking carefully about how to be not just a puncher and a fighter, how to be a president. how to be a leader. i felt after meeting yesterday coming out, this guy has all the
9:15 pm
makings of being a very great president. >> i think that what people don't know about him is that he has the ability to bring sides together. he was in the campaign, he had to run this race a certain way and now i think we're going to be seeing a different person and -- >> of course. >> you saw him in a personal way and tell the viewers what kind of guy is he. >> the way you fight campaign, it gets vicious and nasty. he now -- >> you're a member of the european parliament. >> i am. the most outnumbered politician in history where they shout at me and scream at me. >> they're different over there. they're yell and screaming in parliament. >> they yes, ma'am and screll a. he made his victory speech was that of a statesman.
9:16 pm
it was considerate. he said i'm won but i'm going to the president for all of america. i believe him. i left that meeting with a sense that he really, genuinely wants to help ordinary, hard working american people. >> you're in trump tower yesterday. we know there are these prote proteste protesters. what did you think of that? >> i recognize them by their faces. >> what do you mean? >> they were flown in from london. no, absolutely. they're the same people protesting about brexit. let's be frank. >> the paid ones. >> let's be frank. these people were all too busy smoking drugs to go out and vote. yet they go and protest. come on, forget about it. >> it's like kaepernick who didn't go out to vote. i want to promote your book. "the bad boys of brexit".
9:17 pm
what my viewers can't see are your pal who is are with you. there's a lot of mischief and mayhem. they wouldn't come onset. thank you on behalf of a lot of people i'm sure around the world. >> thank you. >> thanks for being with us. former clinton advisor are on my political panel still ahead. plus, what a colorful, unforgettable ride it was. >> lying ted. what's your name? my name's lying ted cruz. >> next, i'll look back at the campaign that shocked the world. we'll relive some moechlts. you don't want to my this, folks. "why are you checking your credit score?"

good evening. here's what's happening. a sheriff in central california said the killing of his deputy on sunday was an execution. now a suspect is in custody for shooting deputy dennis wallace in the head. the suspect was arrested about two and a half hours south of where wallace was killed for trying to steal a woman's purse.
9:33 pm
it was only after the arrest that authorities realized they had the man accused of killing deputy wallace. sunday marks one year since terrorists carried out several attac attacks. the survivors and family looked on as the names of each victim were read. the french president also lay wreaths and unveiling plaques in their honor. now back to justice with judge jeanine. breaking news from president-elect trump's transition team as he announced reince priebus as white house chief of staff and stephen ban nor. this as hillary clinton keep tries to figure out why she's home in west chester watching it all on television. joining me is my political

channel. richard, you used to work for hillary clinton. is she a good loser? >> hillary clinton got 1.5 million more votes. donald trump got a smaller percentage of the vote -- >> let's not -- >> he won. she didn't. it's a democrat process. the question is why is she being a sore loser? >> she won the popular vote. you'll concede that more people voted for her. you'll concede. >> you concede that the constitution dictates who the winner is and it's determined by the electoral college. >> absolutely. every -- >> that's enough. we don't have that much time richard. >> listen, every time he says the voters elected me to do x, that's untrue. >> is her blaming jim comey, the

sound. it has to do with social media and spending money. >> i think it helped me win all of this races where they are spending much more money than i spent. i spent my money, a lot of my money, and i won opinion i think that social media has more power than the money they spent. i think i proved that. >> that was on "60 minutes" tonight. donald and his immediate family, 18 million facebook followers, twitter 19.5, instagram, 6. is that the sign of a new way of campaigning, david. >> yes. donald trump will need it. if you watch that 60 minutes interview tonight, it's very clear that every media interview that donald trump goes on, he's going to be condescended to by the reporters because they can't
9:37 pm
stand him. not only did we see in the campaign but we saw it tonight. it's going to continue. donald trump said i'm going to find other ways to communicate directly to the american people and i worked. >> richard, is this a new way of campaigning because clearly the pollsters got it all wrong. >> so, look, he got $2 billion of free air time. nothing to do with social media. free air time by all estimates. more than anybody else got. you can't really discount that. he didn't have to pay a cent for it. good for him. >> well. >> that was very clever on his part. >> he's being called a racist and every name in the book to get free air time. >> david, by having a white nationalist as your chief strategist you're not separating yourself from the charge of racism and anti-semitism. you're feeding right into that. >> the president makes decision and staff executes.

the decisions that will get made in the white house. >> he made the decision to have a white nationalist at his side. >> richard, i have to tell you something. we have a president-elect who is asked whether he want add special prosecutor for hillary clinton and his answer was, i have important things to do, jobs and the economy. he is showing class. he's showing class and talking about hillary clinton immediately when he was elected. he is showing class by calling the president a good man. i think the rest of the democrats ought to follow the way this man is conducting himself. i have to tell you, it doesn't bode well for you. it really doesn't. >> judge, wait. >> add to it. trump said -- >> let richard answer it because i gave it to him. >> you cannot deny, i'm jewish, white nationalist think jews and blacks and his panics think second class citizens. >> who are you talking about? >> steve bannon.
9:39 pm
>> you got a problem with bannon. we're talking about the president of the united states and his interview on 60 minutes. the fact you don't want to say anything nice about him and you got to go left or right is not what we're talking about. david, go ahead. >> judge, tonight donald trump, which we still have not heard from hillary clinton or president obama said folks should not be out rioting. even his supporters if they are doing something against other americans, they should stop. he looked directly into the camera and said they should stop. if that's not an indication -- >> amen. that was good. >> richard don't you agree, shouldn't the president and hillary come out and say enough? >> enough of what? >> of these protests. protesting is fine. >> the fact is, i understand it's probably heart. imagine how you could have felt -- >> i didn't care when a democrat got elected or a republican. the people have spoken. that's the system.
9:40 pm
>> of course. again, when your side gets more votes and ends up on the short end of the stick, there's something that doesn't feel quite right. >> follow the constitution. >> i agree. i'm with you. >> thanks. i wanted to have a conversation. any way, next, the commentary on the election that's taking the social media world by storm. plus. >> what should happen to obama and welcoming words for president-elect trump? i get it all in tonight's street justice. don't go away.
