responded saying the green party scam for asking for impossible recounts is being joined by the badly defeated and demoralized dems. stein raised more than $5 million to fund the recount effort. states where mr. trump narrowly beat hillary clinton. in a post on "medium" defended the campaign's decision her recount. writing, now that a recount is under way, we believe we have an obligation to the more than 64 million americans who cast ballots for hillary clinton to participate in ongoing proceed proceedings to ensure that an accurate vote count will be reported. now, the chances of this recount actually changing the election outcome are extremely slim to none, but many democrats are holding any hopes they can find the recount effort in wisconsin and expected to get under way late next week and in pennsylvania tomorrow and in

even though they said the russians were trying to do this and involved in wikileaks they don't believe there was foul play. what are they doing? >> what is jill stein doing? by the way, she got less than 1% of the popular vote. but she's raising a lot of money. if you wanted it to look like a scam, what would a scam actually look like? we did the search and looked on her website and looked that fine print of what she's trying to do to raise all this money. if you dig into the fine print of what jill stein is doing and integrity in our election and making sure that every vote is counted. take a look at the fine print on her website where you can donate to this righteous cause. we cannot guarantee a recount will happen in any of these states that we're targeting. we can only pledge. pledge. we will demand recounts in these states. there are these pesky things called the law. >> they're getting that recount in wisconsin. but if you look at it, i think it's ten electoral votes.

it's not going to get hillary clinton to 270 and not going to get jill stein -- >> and how about the amount of money that she originally asked for. she had raised $4.8 million and then all of a sudden she starts raising the amount of money. the fund-raising goal is raised to $7 million and the original amount was $2.5 million. >> she originally said $2 million to $3 million. jill stein was tweeting up a storm about all of this yesterday. we'll get more into this later about fidel castro but said he was a symbol of the struggle of justice. so, this is her struggle for justice. >> the clinton campaign showing no evidence of the cyberattack and saying maybe there was. if you look in the fine print, as well, additional money, not just to this effort and the recount, but to the massachusetts green rainbow party, as well. you don't want to talk about a scam. a scam is when you say you're

doing one thing especially when you say you are not going to do what you're going to do. in pennsylvania you have to file and it has to be validated, as well. without wisconsin, michigan and pennsylvania, she can't bring trump below 270 anyway. >> we had somebody on tucker's show and we said, look, if you don't get a recount in all these states what are you going to do with the $7 million. the guy didn't have an answer. where is the money going to go? >> is the money coming from -- jill stein didn't raise anywhere near this in the campaign. is this money coming from hillary clinton backers. if hillary clinton was out there demanding herself a recount. >> that's the extra money they don't use will be used for other purposes. there's no giving that money back. >> hillary clinton is the one that made this an issue by saying we will sign on to the recount in wisconsin. >> you know where we need a recount is outside. i saw these beautiful trees out there and i saw rick eyeing one

carjacking two cars and murdering a security guard. it all started when the suspect stole a car in harvey, illinois. the owner then got into a neighbor's car following him and calling police. once the suspect heard the sirens, he crashed before running on to the train tracks where he shot a security guard several times. the suspect is still on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous. well, protesters refusing to follow government orders. hundreds of activists vowing to stay on the land, despite a december 5th eviction order from the army corps of engineers. they worry it could contaminate the area's water supply, which they say is on sacred ground. more than 500 protesters have been arrested since august. a cuban american who escaped fidel castro's reign of terror is giving back to his community in the wake of the dictator's

president-elect donald trump has been busy he already filled some high posts but already has some choices to make for his cabinet. who will trump be meeting with and is he considering a democrat for secretary of state? here to break it down is tammy bruce. a lot of speculation has been who is that secretary of state going to be. really a romney versus giuliani, but, first, let's just mention the spots that he's already filled. >> obviously, chief of staff reince priebus, that's clearly a reach out to the republican establishment and that's a good choice because he knows everyone. steve bannon is not someone who has to be confirmed by the senate. jeff sessions, attorney general.

excellent choice there. michael flin, everyone has been an early endorser of president-elect trump. cia director, people are wondering where that would fit. that's a clear choice. betsy devos is inest thering to pe people. at first she made it she was for common core and the nikki haley choice for u.n. ambassador. very interesting. she withdrew her support for mr. trump and has no diplomatic experience and some people are wondering how that will work. >> she was very critical of trump. let's move on. secretary of state. where are we there? >> well, i think that the romney situation is not going to be happening already. kellyanne conway. kellyanne conway -- rudy giuliani has been at the top of the list. i think the concern has been his

business dealings perhaps. he would be fabulous. >> who is the democrat being considered there? >> we're looking at gabered's name that has come on. she was critical of barack obama and atoezed opposed to the tpp. obviously, mr. trump wants people with experience. people who can get the job done. >> that is himself putting a flag up the flag pole to see if anyone salutes. that name has come up. >> for one particular role or multiple roles? >> well, perhaps for almost any role. but his name has come up for secretary of state. i think they want to perhaps show -- >> we'll put him kind of over here. >> yeah. >> there's a lot of talent, clearly. the bench is deep here. >> let's talk treasury secretary john allison. >> what is interesting about him. he is a libertarian. i think he would be a great

choice. he was against the decision which was about property rights when they incli . he has been very vocal against obama care. perfect example of someone not in the system who fits what mr. trump already believes and what the tea party believes, as well. he would be very interesting. munchin has been mentioned at the top of the list but he's a big democratic party donor and i think donating to obama and hillary, it would be very strange to put him in that kind of position. >> deep goldman sachs roots. >> vice chair of the federal reserve. this is another one he's meeting with tomorrow. >> he's been advising and involved in the transition team and advising the president-elect. this is a man that you'll see perhaps at the sec or in a vice chair kind of position at the fed. so, as the that's the name you can watch for, but not

still maintains complete control. would it set us back at all? >> not at all. at too the contrary, it's telling the cuban regime that even though fidel castro's death really brings the dawn of possible new era. there is no question that there is a to talitarian government in place in cuba today. so, what we're doing is that we're also reinforcing that to t talitarian government and what president-elect donald trump has been very clear. there are three conditions that really need to be met in order for us to be able to provide meaningful change to cuba and that one is release of political prisoners. number two, american fugitives need to be returned to american justice system and there needs to be political and religious freedoms on the island. president-elect trump has been very clear. there's nothing wrong with negotiating, but we didn't get any concessions from the cuban government and it's not like

we're doing business with the cuban people. we're doing business with the cuban military who is in charge of and in control of all the economic mechanisms and of property in cuba. we really need to send a message that change has to come. >> sure. donald trump tweeted immediately. fidel castro is dead. a very different tone. he also said the deal we cut with them under barack obama was a bad one. what would you say, christina, as a first step that president-elect trump should take to push cuba in the right direction? >> fidel castro is dead and the castro regime is not. as his body was being prepared to be cremated, dissidents were getting arrested and human rights activists were being sent to prison. president-elect trump has to demand that there are free elections in cuba for the first time in 55 years. he has to demand that the castro brothers return to the cuban people the $800 million that they have stolen. and he has to demand that there

basic training and one week of refresher courses and you are just like immigration. you can go and proactively stop people on the street, check their immigration status. if you find they are here illegally, you can take them into custody. guys, ice still has to pick up the cost for that. that's going to be expensive for local and state law enforcement. if donald trump wants to deport 2 to 3 million illegal immigrants with criminal records here in the united states, he'll have to direct funding and budget resources to this effort. >> and he's got mayors -- we have a map of sanctuary cities that declared we're not going to work with federal illegal immigration laws or recognize them in our cities but you might find it hard to imagine they would be willing to deputies local police department. what's your sense of how local law enforcement would act, do they want the power to do it or do they feel they are already

michigan 4.8 million voters and 10,000 votes separate the two. that's less than a quarter of a percent. wisconsin, nearly 3 million voters, 30,000, 8/10 divide the candidates and pennsylvania, 6.1 million and 7 0,000, over 1%. there's never been an election in which a statewide number of 10,000 votes has been overturned in a presidential election. i'm not aware of one where that's been overturned in a state election. this is unlikely to have any change whatsoever. dan halpert put his finger right on it, which is this is about building a myth on the left that somehow or another, the election was stolen by donald trump in the close states. they don't care what the result is. you'll notice in wisconsin, they are not just asking for recount, which they are legally entitled for but reconciliation of the
