2:00 pm
a lot of this is optimism about what the economy holds. keep in mind, tomorrow is the day we see the federal reserve hike interest rates. this time, no one sees panicked by that. we'll see you tomorrow. good night. hello, everyone. i'm dana perino along with kimberly guilfoyle, juan williams, greg gutfeld and eric bolling. this is "the five". >> a big surprise at trump tower as kanye west meets with president-elect donald trump. details on what they discussed, later. into but first, new developments on the transition front. the president-elect confirms he will nominate exxonmobil ceo rex tillerson to be secretary of state. condoleezza rice praised him as an excellent choice and he's called a man of great integrity that will protect the interests of the u.s. charles krauthammer has a
2:01 pm
warning for lawmakers. >> if the democrats go after tillerson on the russia ties, it will be a delightful festival of hypocrisies. and then all of a sudden they have discovered that the russians are not france and it's quite a flip-flopping. the famous moment we all remember, obama mocking romney for saying that the russians are a big threat and now all of a sudden they are becoming cold wear era. >> we did talk about that a little bit and that show was after ours. maybe everyone is watching "the five." eric, i wanted to ask you something about -- that was a compliment to us and everybody else at fox and charles krauthammer. one of the things that people usually ask themselves is why don't more people that are in business ever want to be in government? now you have a situation where the president-elect is leaving business in order to go into
2:02 pm
government and you have the secretary of state choosing to leave exxonmobil, a gigantic company, one of the biggest in the world, to go into government. good thing or not? >> i think it's great for america that we can get the titans of business to come over to basically -- this is going to sound terrible but you make $205,000 a year as secretary of state. this guy probably made $2.5 million a year. he says i'm going to forego that. it's called public service for a reason. you are serving the public. he could be better suited continuing his -- he was going to step down in a year anyway and he was going to retire. i think it's fantastic to have such successful people in various forms, various spots in the government. anytime you can stack your team well best play kbrers, you've go move a quarterback to wide receiver, go ahead and do it. i think trump is accumulating the best athletes in the
2:03 pm
political field. >> it isn't without controversy, juan. so what is your take on this? what are you hearing from concernation on the left and right and possible ties to russia? >> just picking up on eric's analogy, i think this is bringing in superstars. the thing is, if you bring in a superstar singer to a football team, people are like ha-ha because he has no experience in politics. you can say he has experience dealing diplomatically -- >> what did you say? >> diplomatically. >> top diplomat. >> that's why you hear complaints from people like amnesty international about human rights records or you hear complaints from people who are concerned that in fact, you know, when you talk about issues like climate change, that exxonmobil protecting your own profits and interests has long been trying to downplay the impacts of climate change on the world and you hear from
2:04 pm
republicans -- and this is what i think everybody needs to tune into, there's a big push to get condoleezza rice and the republican establishment to endorse him. guess what, there are lots of people -- mccain, graham and others who say, what's this with best friend of vladimir putin at a time when we're worried about the effects of the russian hacking on the election? it just doesn't look good. it's going to be a big confirmation. >> kimberly, looking back, though, when romney was a candidate for president and he brought up concerns about russia, the left, especially even president obama during the re-election campaign mocked him and now the left is worried about russia. i have concerns about russia, too, but it's a little hard to swallow that now all of a sudden they are concerned about russia on the left. >> it's another example of the height of liberal hypocrisy and another attempt -- a weak attempt to try to cast aspersions on a very strong pick, somebody who is a patriot,
2:05 pm
highly regarded by those that we add mire like condoleezza rice who suggested this pick to the president-elect trump. i have a quote here from rex tillerson. he said the global free market provides the most effective means of achieving u.s. energy security by promoting resource development, enabling diversification, multiplying our supply channel and encouraging efficiency and those principles and that specific ideology can be applied to the secretary of state position. you want somebody who is not going to be duped or fooled by these international foreign leaders. there's a lot at stake here in terms of what we're dealing with overseas, a lot of the number of conflicts that we're engaged in. this isn't somebody who is just brand new to the table that isn't going to have any idea. he's going to be well versed in what is happening internationally and be able to apply his skills of diplomacy that he took to business grace
2:06 pm
on behalf of the united states. >> i did hear some interesting criticism today, greg, after i read it, about because rex tillerson has been in the corporate world so much, a good soldier in terms of exxonmobil, nobody knows what his personal political philosophy is, which doesn't necessarily bother me, but gives some others pause. >> we know robert gates and condoleezza rice has nothing to do with the fact that they worked for them? >> exxon was a client for their company. donald trump is coming home from work and he's having all the little kids put on their jam mes while he goes to drink gin. that's what you're seeing metaphorically. think of all of the child-like fantasies we've had to tolerate for the last eight years. no use for fossil fuels, peace
2:07 pm
marches, tolerance, no use for borders, let's talk about white privilege instead. every nomination we're seeing right now is an act of progress towards ending this protracted adolescent behavior that we've seen for eight years. we are actually seeing adults entering the house and the children leaving. >> you're telling me that i should believe that donald trump is the adult? >> if you look at -- these are all adults who understand how the world works. the world works on a commodity, oil, fossil fuels. it doesn't work on windmills and solar power. we have to look at how civilization is run. law enforcement. >> well, there was another movement on the transition front because even though not officially announced, it looks like rick perry, former governor of texas, is going to become secretary of energy. i think it was the one that he forgot to mention during his -- the one that he wanted to
2:08 pm
eliminate. >> yeah. and clearly the reason why this ends up being the pick, donald trump was looking for the guy who ended up having the most experience with energy, energy production at the time, i guess, energy production could actually expand throughout the country in texas will be a big player in that but fracking is the way of the future, upper north part of the country as well. look, rick perry, great guy, really solid guy. again, i like the business guys, though. there are a lot of heads of oil companies, energy companies, international drillers, pipeline companies that i would like to see in the energy -- secretary of energy field because -- donald trump has said we're going to expand our energy production. that's fantastic. there's a reason why the dow is 50 points away from 20,000 for the first time ever. there's a reason why business -- small business outlook, their optimism levels are soaring.
2:09 pm
they are exploding off the chart. number one, because of corporate taxes and cheap energy. if you think about what is going on, the biggest overhang, whether it's a producer, transporter, seller, oil prices shoot up, gas prices shoot up and we can't afford to do business anymore in america. the economy, the big boys, the adults in the room do better in business and business thrives. >> i like this point that i saw earlier. jill stein, the green party candidate, that pulled away votes from hillary clinton in important states like florida, for example, i don't know if that would have made the difference for her. but because of jill stein being there, hillary clinton -- maybe agree with me that it could have gone to hillary clinton if jill stein didn't take them away from her. now the attorney general of oklahoma, a thorn in the environmentalists' side and rick perry, governor of texas, an
2:10 pm
energy fossil fuel advocate. what do you think of that? >> i think it's ironic. you have people who say she's status quo and guess what, this is what you get now. to me, it's like the barn yard door is open and you get people who are great businessmen and talent but their interest is in money and making themselves and the rich richer. >> inefficient. >> not in the best interest of all the citizens of the country at all levels. i don't think anybody -- and it's curious to me your point, dana, because i heard complaints from the right saying you know what, rex tillerson and exxonmobil give money to planned parenthood. we didn't like that.
2:11 pm
>> he said positive things about hink he can move from being ceo of exxon to secretary of state and represent the interests appropriately. >> absolutely. and he was going to retire anyway and so now he's chosen to serve the country and i have absolutely no doubt he's going to put all of his best efforts forward, putting america first and making sure that we are well represented throughout the international community and respected by somebody who actually has a tremendous record at exxon. >> i think he gets a big tax break. >> oh, my gosh. >> this is important and you're 100% right. as a cabinet member, you get an exemption. you have to divest. you can't put it in trust and hold it. you have to divest. and when you do, you're allowed a tax exemption on all of the money. >> it's considered public service. so this is a very rich man -- in
2:12 pm
this christmas season, everybody is an angel? please, wake up. >> poor juan. >> putting perry in charge of the department of energy is like putting charlie sheen in charge of your pornography. we know what is going on. but this is refreshing. because it has operated so long that the dorm rooms were heated by magical thinking and folk music. this is how the world works. all of these people being tapped have some kind of link to the real world, now things are made, not how things are thought of. >> right. >> and that was a huge difference. i think that's why the left is convulsing because you see a shift from magical thinking. >> right. practicality. coming up, we'll play the tape and let you understand when

"the five" returns. jack be nimble, jack be quick, jack knocked over a candlestick onto the shag carpeting... ...and his pants ignited into flames, causing him to stop, drop and roll. luckily jack recently had geico help him with renters insurance. because all his belongings went up in flames. jack got full replacement and now has new pants he ordered from banana republic. visit geico.com and see how affordable renters insurance can be.
2:15 pm
2:17 pm
blown the mind of the left. there's no evidence of the russians interfering with the election so you really have to wonder, soar losers are really trying to undermine mr. trump's win. >> the president-elect in some of his political events specifically said to the russians, hack hillary's e-mails. >> the electoral college and i have learned a lot in recent weeks about it. it was intended that the electors delivery. one of the reason why it exists is to protect against a former government from interfering with our election. so pretty stunning. >> is it time for him to step down? he has to step down before the inauguration, i mean, do we have to wait until the hammer is on the american flag before we stand up to this guy? >> oh, brother. greg, start with you if you want
2:18 pm
to take joy behar on. >> no thank you. >> fine. >> here's what we know the russians didn't do. they didn't blame benghazi on a video. they didn't let hillary clinton get a secret server. they didn't alienate the american public with identity politics. they didn't tell her to cruise through this election on her gender. they didn't tell her to lie. but having said that -- >> they didn't push the video. >> they didn't push the video. >> and they didn't call us or them deplorables. >> you're right. but hillary can suck eggs, be the worst candidate ever but the russians can still meddle because they are the russians. it's what they do. we can't have the foresight of goldfish. what comes around goes around. we have to investigate because if they still have something, they will use it.
2:19 pm
we got trump in. yay. that doesn't mean we let the russians off the hook. >> reince priebus said, look, the cia claims there was a hack. fbi says no. the dni says they don't see an actual hack. >> of the rnc? >> right. >> that's why i think this investigation is worthwhile. you have several different intelligence apparati and that's why you have an investigation to see. i think both things can be true. i also think that at the same time the democrats can be really missing the reason that they lost. >> i'm hoping it's the reason. i really hope it. >> juan? >> how can we miss jim comey?
2:20 pm
i think the russians are a big reason. the idea -- what's so fascinating to me that on the right right now, the bottom line is, let's politicize this. if you are for donald trump, ignore the russians. and let it be the democrats' problems and hypocrisy. what hypocrisy? everyone would agree that isis and islamic terror is a threat to the united states. now the democrats never said a word about that. my point to you -- >> can you explain -- and i'm having a hard time understanding what the left is saying. how did the russians influence the election by hacking into the dnc and not in -- >> let me see, all of those laklake leaked e-mails that went to podesta. >> leaked. >> leaked by who? >> we don't know who did that. exactly. >> i think 17 intelligence
2:21 pm
agencies have said this was the russians but some people don't want to hear -- >> k.g.? >> nobody is saying don't pay attention. of course, we're very concerned about cybersecurity and what is going on with the russians in particular. the intelligence base has consistent in keeping a close eye on russia. this does not discount or explain the historic catastrophic loss for a poor candidate who is hugely corrupt, thumbed her nose at the laws, at the american people and thought she was too big to fail. with the clinton foundation, the e-mail servers, the lies about benghazi, all of it, that's why she was unelectable and why she got smoked by president-elect. >> the people seem to forget -- this is less than 1% decided in the last week of this election
2:22 pm
and you say, oh, terrible candidate, she got almost 3 million more votes than donald trump got. >> metropolitan cities like new york. >> you can't blame the russians for the fact that we have legislators and trump is in a way part and parcel of that trend. it's the wave -- you can't say the russians helped him, it didn't help them. however, i have to agree with juan, if you see an elderly woman getting mugged, you know it's wrong. is it less wrong because you don't like the elderly woman? >> is she getting mugged or did she -- i'm suing this place. we don't know. there is no definitive proof that whatever the russians got that they gave us wasn't leaked. >> are they going to do a donald trump trump on us and say i
2:23 pm
don't respect american intelligence agencies? >> they don't agree on that? >> yes, they do. they agree. not only that, the idea that you would say to american intelligence people, i don't want to read your intelligence briefings. >> no there is no fact evidence, substantive evidence to prove that the russians played a role in influencing the outcome of this election. >> if this were reverse, we would have the muskets out right now. canada helped her. are you kidding me? we'd be going ape poop. i didn't use the "s" word. >> thank you. >> they don't amount to a hill
2:24 pm
of beans. the american people who felt like they were left behind, they supported their candidate that was listening to them. >> it's the meeting at trump tower that everyone is talking about. why was kanye west meeting with donald trump? plus, we're just two hours away from mr. trump's thank you tour in wisconsin. a preview, next.
2:25 pm
2:27 pm
our progressive direct rate... we let you compare great deals for reals! ...and our competitors' rates side-by-side, so you know you're getting a great deal. saving the moolah. [ chuckles ] as you can see, sometimes progressive isn't the lowest. not always the lowest! jamie. what are you doing? -i'm being your hype man. not right now. you said i was gonna be the hype man. no, we said we wouldn't do it. i'm sorry, we were talking about savings. i liked his way. cha-ching! talking about getting that moneeeey! talking about getting that moneeeey! savings worth the hype. now that's progressive.

2:29 pm
8:00 p.m. john roberts, welcome. john, congratulations. we are all very excited about this. i sent you an e-mail and didn't hear back so i know you're doing your job. >> reporter: kimberly, i'm sorry i missed the e-mail. thank you i saw you and eric yesterday and i really thank you very much. it's just such an honor to do this. after getting this new position, i got to spend this afternoon in a chevy cruze sitting in wisconsin in 10-degree weather waiting for donald trump. nothing but glamour in this job. >> exactly. what can we expect tonight? >> reporter: donald trump is going to be giving another edition of his thank you tour. he's going across the country and doing this across the battleground states. interesting situation here in wisconsin as well because, of course, jill stein's organization basically twisted the arms of officials here in
2:30 pm
wisconsin and was completed yesterday and the way it worked out is donald trump netted an additional 131 points, 131 votes, rather. wisconsin was a big one for trump because nobody except people in the trump campaign, paul ryan and reince priebus and a couple others thought he'd be able to pull it off here. this is a state that has been democratic for decades. so it was a huge win for him to pull it off here in wisconsin. michigan as well. and that's why he's going around the country saying thanks to all of these folks who put him over the top. and the fact that he's easily surviving these recounts is a little icing on the cake for him. >> yes, and perhaps letting the public know that, in fact, have faith in the election, the recount is yielding more votes for the president-elect. now, greg has a question i can't promise what it is. >> i heard you say you had to sit in a chevy cruze which is a hybrid, a rental i assume.
2:31 pm
are our expenses so bad that they are stuffing you in a tiny car in subfreezing temperatures? >> reporter: yes, greg. it's terrible. forget what you hear about fox. it's not the truth. what p happened was, the one rental counter we booked a car with had a long line and my producer had the misfortune of not being an elite club member so we couldn't go right to the car and we had to get here so we could go on the air so i went to the counter next door and went to the folks at national and said i'm an emerald club member. can we get a car? they said all we have is a chevy cruze. >> see, this is behind the scenes reality of what goes on. we can relate with your pain even though we're here in a nice, beautiful studio because we were trying to petition for
2:32 pm
diet coke. >> when we were doing the supreme court nomination of john roberts who then became the chief justice, the white house operator put a call into you, which was really funny. i was just thinking about that going back. when i left the white house press secretary job, i did not even have a twitter address. things have changed so much in eight years and i wonder, as you embark on this next step, how you think that technology might have changed the way you cover a white house? >> reporter: oh, my gosh, it's just night and day compared to how it was. i didn't have a twitter account for another three years after i left the white house. and getting the phone call, by the way, for the chief justice wasn't the most interesting thing that happened at the white house. it was when there was a john roberts in the white house, i don't know if he was at the travel office or assistant press secretary but they thought that i was him and i started getting all of his secret e-mails. so i was on the inner loop at
2:33 pm
the white house for four months and i just accidently didn't tell you folks about it for a number of months. >> great. >> i learned a lot. i learned a lot. >> that's what i needed to know. >> reporter: but things have really changed, though. particularly with donald trump. his twitter feed is as much of a newsmaker as wires used to be and phone calls used to be. late last night saying that he's going to separate himself from his business, turning it over to eric and don jr. that was sptuff that we used to have to work for hours. i keep looking at my phone because i'm expecting to get confirmation that ryan zinke will be the pick for the press secretary. apparently donald trump has settled on him in the last little while. >> great choice. >> okay. perfect. we're getting all of the news here. eric bolling? >> congrats, my friend.
2:34 pm
duly deserved. mitt romney spent a lot of time at the trump tower and golf course as well. he didn't get selected. was he really in contention the whole time or was this kind of, let's fix this relationship and then move on? >> reporter: you know, it depends on who you talk to. if you talk to one camp in the trump transition, donald trump thought that he could potentially add a lot to the administration. he thought that romney was a good person, wanted what is best for the country and wanted to try to patch things up. you talk to other people in the administration and trump was just kind of stringing him along because he wanted to kind of pay him back a little bit or he was thinking that maybe he'd make a good secretary of state but wanted to have him in a position where he could sort of lord over him, if you will. so not sure exactly which is the truth. sometimes it's somewhere in the middle but there's no question,
2:35 pm
after talking to all of these people all these weeks about the various machinations, it really is a game of thrones on a national level here in the united states as this administration gets itself in place. but i think now that there's only three slots left to fill, i think things are calming down just a little. >> juan? >> john, congrats. i'm so interested in how you do this job, you know, as a former white house guy myself, i was thinking, well, gee, so no news conference on thursday, you rely on the tweets. are you allowed to ride on the same plane as trump? has he done anything better about making sure that reporters are around? >> i've rode on his plane once but that was only because we were doing a feature on him and i flew from st. louis, missouri, to chicago where the event was. traveling with him is a little bit difficult. the press pool rides on a different plane but that's going
2:36 pm
to change when he becomes president because there's a press cabinet on air force one. >> sound good. john, keep checking your e-mail all right. coming up, are your tax dollars late at work? mayor bill de blasio has a new treatment for city workers traumatized by the election. i'm not making this up. details on his government-sponsored plan, next.
2:38 pm
family road trip! fun! check engine. not fun! but, you've got hum. that's like driving with this guy. all you do is press this, and in plain english, "coolant", you'll know what's wrong. if you do need a mechanic, just press this. "thank you for calling hum." and if you really need help, help can find you, automatically, 24/7.

test. i knew it could rough in there, but how rough? there was no way to know for sure. hey guys.... daddy, it's pink! test. and we got a great one thanks to a really low mortgage rate from navy federal credit union. pink so she's a princess. you got a problem with that? oorah oorah open to the armed forces, the dod and their families. navy federal credit union.
2:41 pm
new york city mayor bill de blasio was offering people counseling for those feeling stressed or vulnerable following the election of donald trump. yes, it's therapy because trump won. now, i get seeing my taxes go to help the poor but to soothe the wimps? so what about the real stuff? look out your window, dumb ass. bodies line the streets and most of these people are mentally ill or drug addicted. a million people in the city have substance abuse problems which lead to hepatitis and hiv. god forbid you suffer cardiac arrest on the street with manhattan's traffic, you'll die where you drop. you're calling the herd the old-fashion way. since we've helped those who
2:42 pm
can't help themselves, self-satisfied progressives champion neglect as some sort of enlightened freedom. we ignore the insane in their private hell. but hey, let's offer workers paid counseling because trump's win threatens to undermine their vegan book club. oh, god, what a jerk. a mayor who puts politics before people. he's not just a hopeless fool but a harmless one. a harmful one. >> can we redo that last word? >> but a harmful one. kimberly, run for mayor. >> okay. vote for me. here's the problem, i'm feeling distressed and vulnerable after the fact that he's still the mayor of new york city. this guy really is a tremendous disappointment. he's not only low energy, he doesn't start the day until 11:00 a.m., unacceptable, he's
2:43 pm
made a mockery of all of the accomplishments and accomplishments we've had in new york city. it was kind of a miracle that he got elected, the lowest voter turnout ever. >> eric, the reason why he can be mayor is a barnacle on the boat of success. you had bloomberg and giuliani. he's just there. he's like a crappy hood ornament on a rolls royce. >> everything you said about the drug-addicted people -- >> socialists. >> mentally afflicted people as well. let me take the business side of this for once. for a better part of two years now you cannot get around in manhattan. i know there's something going on by trump tower which is making things worse but for two years, a judge of how you run a city is how the traffic is when
2:44 pm
these things aren't going on. this city is awful. you can't get in, you can't get out, businesses can't thrive. he's the worst -- this is the worst planned city under de blasio and he blew it. bloomberg kept the city running. new york is falling apart because of this guy. >> he's universally disliked by the police force. the homelessness, drug-addicted, traffic, everything. >> unless people turn out to vote, actually, the turnout for his election was quite low and he won that by 90% of the vote. if people really care, they have to get out and vote or he's going to have competition. the thing is, we've taken helicopter parenting into the workplace. once they enter the workplace, you have to have helicopter employees, coddle them and make sure that they are okay.
2:45 pm
the disney movie, the new one, "moana," you have to deal with your situation and without taxpayer dollar funded counseling. >> juan, if election is causing you to seek therapy, you're hopeless, correct? >> i don't know about therapy but there are a lot of people in america depressed over donald trump's election. that's a fact. so if he wants to help people -- you pay for counseling for every other thing. what about -- >> i will help the homeless get the help they need. i will not pay for that. >> polls show that more than 50% of americans think they are depressed or saddened because of this election. >> they are not getting taxpayer-funded counseling. >> by the way, you guys dump on de blasio. there's not a lot going on here. >> far better individual and -- >> you may feel that way but i'm
2:46 pm
going to tell you something, some reason that, gee whiz, there's not a lot of people running out to run against bill de blasio. >> because we're actually busy and have jobs. >> i would do it in five seconds and crush him. >> new york's economy is generating jobs and profits like never before. >> no help by him. >> where is that money coming from? >> business. >> one street. wall street. it's half a block long. >> you walk around new york at this time of year, it's splendid, compared to d.c. -- >> you have to walk because you can't drive anywhere. it takes you an hour and 15 minutes to get from the east to the west. >> it's a perilized gem. >> that's a live picture right now. if you had some sort of -- >> and by the way -- >> if you had a city manager that could work that out. >> that's not the point. your point was that this is bill
2:47 pm
de blasio's fault. >> big bird de blasio. >> who shut down times square? i think his name is michael bloomberg. >> that's not why, juan. >> he's got a construction project. >> you know what i think, i don't know why bloomberg and the like, they want bike paths here and there. >> i hate bike paths. >> you go down here, bump your head on a car. sometimes i'm like, k.g., where are you? how could this be >> you want t. >> most mismanaged city in the world. >> oh, yeah. >> it's terrible. totally inefficient. homelessness, drug-addicted, confused. >> you need to visit other towns. >> i've got to tell you, it's getting bad. it's getting bad. touched a nerve here. holy crap. behold, the brand-new
2:48 pm
besties, president-elect meets with kanye west. details when "the five" returns. ? yeah, with liberty mutual all i needed to do to get an estimate was snap a photo of the damage and voila! voila! (sigh) i wish my insurance company had that... wait! hold it... hold it boys... there's supposed to be three of you... where's your brother? where's your brother? hey, where's charlie? charlie?! you can leave worry behind when liberty stands with you. liberty stands with you™ liberty mutual insurance

west stunned reporters when he arrived for his meeting. his face to face with president-elect donald trump. here are the two after their sit-down. >> mr. trump, kanye, what did you guys discuss in your meeting today? >> just friends. just friends. a good man. very well, long time. we've been friends for a long time. life. >> later tweeting he wanted to neat with trump to discuss multicultural issues. now, from what i understand, kimberly, kanye west was here, tmz reported looking for a psychiatrist and he goes to see donald trump. any connection? >> okay. i don't know about looking for a psychiatrist, i think i know that they've been friends a long time and i like this kind of outreach. i think and what kanye said, too, you got to try and communicate and work with the other side. try to -- i think that's a positive message. i'm glad he's there. there's many others in his field that could not come forward and try to show respect for the president-elect and, you know, continue the method. not only with kanye there, it was interesting because bill
2:53 pm
gates was there and he actually compared the president-elect to kennedy. to jfk in a statement saying there can be a very upbeat message, trump's administration is going to get rid of barriers and have leadership through innovation. i like this idea of working together for america, innovators, bill gates and now need warren buffett on board. >> is this like hillary clinton with beyonce and jay-z, is this all cultural now, bigger than politics, it's just culture? >> i don't know. i'm not sure why he went. what was the purpose of the meeting? i know kanye west was against trump first then he became for trump then he had a mental breakdown and there's -- what -- the guy just needs the camera, does he need the spotlight that badly? just go seek out wherever? didn't make a lot of sense to any. >> what do you think, dana? >> i think president obama met with all of the celebrities and the left rightly mocked the right. i think if somebody calls you up and they want to meet you, you're in the transition period, you got time to do it, do it.
2:54 pm
