attended the meeting announced that her company is now going to create 25,000 new jobs right here in america and they will invest over a billion dollars over the next four years. president-elect trump also promised you the american people that he's going to focus on job growth and that's what he's trying to do right now. last week trump announced that japan's soft bank will invest $50,000 into america's economy. that will create 50,000 new jobs and last month trump cut a deal with the manufacturer carrier to save over 1,000 jobs the company was planning to ship to mexico. all of this a positive great start, but the truth is the president-elect has a lot of work cut out for him. president obama's policies, i've been telling you, a complete disaster. here's where donald trump is starting. the lowest labor participation rate since the 1970s. 95 million of your fellow

americans in the labor force, the worse recovery since the 40s. the lowest home ownership in america in 51 years. 13 million more americans are on food stamps in the last eight years. 43 million americans living in poverty. 8 million more than eight years ago. one in five american families without one person in the labor force. one in six american men, 18 to 34 either in jail incarcerated or living in mommy and daddy's basement because they don't have a job. by the time he leaves office, the president will have accumulated more debt than 43 other presidents before him combined. there are clear reasons by president obama failed. what did he do? he tried to use big government statism to create job which has never worked. members failed stimulus plan he was going to create shovel ready jobs. they never materialized and it cost you the american taxpayers

nearly a trillion dollars. now, here's why it failed and we need to learn these lessons. all those billions of dollars, they were filtered through that big bloated government bureaucracy in washington, and remember, then it went to their friends and companies like solindra. the results have been pathetic and all we have to show for it is doubling the national debt and stealing from our kids.obam. so the question we've got to ask tonight before donald trump becomes president, what will work? how do we create success for what i call the election, the forgotten man or woman election? now, president-elect trump's plans, it's a stark contrast to president obama's. he's going to take the opposite approach. he will implement policies that historically have worked. here's the president-elect's economic plan. he wants to create jobs in america. how? lower taxes. reform the tax code. seven brackets to three.

a 15% corporate tax rate. a 10% repatriation rate for the trillions of dollars that multinational corporations have parked abroad in banks. he's going to huge government regulation. he wants to renegotiate trade deals. energy independence. so important for national security and job creation. repealing and replacing obama care. that should end up like a tax cut for most americans and a goal of 4% gdp growth. obama did not have one year of 3% gdp growth. the only president in history never to have 3% of gdp. if president-elect trump follows through on that agenda, it could create one of the biggest economic boons the country has ever seen and history proves. it would be very similar to what john f kennedy and ronald reagan did. they understood that to have real economic growth you need to unleash the potential of the free market. free market capitalism. go back to jfk.

he set in motion a plan to cut the top marginal tax rate from 91%. he dropped it to 77%. during his short time as president, 3.8 million jobs were created. an average of 4.4% gdp growth. ronald reagan, he took the concept further. he shredded the top marginal rate lowering over the course of his presidency from 70% to 28%. as a result, reagan in eight years created 20 million new jobs after the '82 recession ended. gpd growth average 3.5%. government revenues nearly doubled. they spiked by 65%. we saw at the end of his presidency the longest period of peacetime economic growth. these lessons are so important. president-elect trump has one major advantage over jfk and ronald reagan. we know we can become energy

independent. we have massive natural gas shale oil reserves and not only will tapping into those resources create millions of jobs here at home, but it will also create a whole new foreign policy dynamic in the middle east. we won't be dependent on countries that hate our guts. and if we export some of the resources to western europe, they won't be dependant to russia and putin for their needs. i only worry about the infrastructure plan. he's talking about $1 trillion in spending. we have to fix the crumbling roads and bridges. that's obvious. but how are we going to pay for it? how do we plan in pay as we go? and the money can't be spent. we have to get it out of the hands of congressmen and senators, 535 greedy bureaucrats in washington that will misappropriate that money. finally there has to be an outside commission, some place that oversees how this one

trillion dollars is spent. there needs to be accountability. joining us with reaction, he has a new e book out about the election of donald trump. he gave a speech on trumpism today at the heritage foundation, former speaker of the house, newt gingrich. >> it's fun to be up here. >> the reason i'm laying this out, jfk worked. reagan worked. and the reason i want you here is what you balanced the budget. nobody thought it was possible at the time. >> and we created tremendous economic growth. had the biggest capital gains tax cut in history. had the biggest improvement in children living in poverty in history because if you really get the economy moving, it really helps across the board. i'm very optimistic, because i'm watching president-elect trump assemble a cabinet that is amazing. these are all winners. these are all successful people. i think it may have the fewest

he cares what every single word says. >> which i know is difficult at times. anyway, congratulation on your positions. i don't have a lot of advice for the president-elect, but what i care about is the country. i believe this is the forgotten man and woman election. what's important, i think, and one of the reasons people are so upset with washington is they make promises and don't keep them. so, to me, if you're going to be the head of policy, i want to ask you are we going to get originalists on the court? >> we're going through the cabinet process but next it's the supreme court. he has a list of 30 judges. we have it down to a few, and the names are names that people are going to love who believe the constitution should be interpreted as it was intended. >> if the democrats try tofilib happened on a supreme court,

would you suggest they use the -- >> we don't want to talk about it right now. we want to focus on getting them confirmed. >> i want to be clear. on the economy, he's going to go from seven brackets to three. 15% corporate tax rate. 10% repatriation rate for multinational corporations bringing money back. is that your policy? >> our tax plan is 7 to three with the rates you mentioned. in the course of the oh negotiation with the house and senate. >> ryan wants 20 for the corporate rate. >> right. the most important thing is we get a competitive business tax rate to bring in companies from overseas and we believe that rate is 15%. we have massive tax relief for the middle class and we repatriate profits overseas. we can use that to build infrastructure. >> could you target that money to detroit, cleveland, philly,

you know? >> what we think we can do is say we're going to bring back -- let's say it's $300 million, and we can earmark it and direct it toward infrastructure projects. >> and specifically, in other words, those people that have been hurt the most, the rust belt that got trump elected. >> exactly. >> might that be targeted to those areas first. >> infrastructure bill, you probably need it for different regions. for places that are hurt and economical economically depressed, they will be place we'll be directing -- >> i'm worried about 535 greedy politicians, senators and congressmen that will want their piece of the pie and we'll waste every $0.50 on the dollar. can it be earmarked and given outside of the budget and away from them. >> i think you identify projects of great national interest. projects that help people and will last a long time and stand

the test of time. and will help our country. >> quick, the wall gets built. >> it does, and i'm going to step back a second and say for the middle class workers of this country, we're going to secure the border, protect their jobs, fix our trade deals, restore the rule of law and get rid of the illegal obama executive orders. >> health savings accounts replace obama care? >> yes. >> education goes back to the states? >> we're going to push for school choice. we'll work with ben carson at hud. >> energy independence? >> we get three wonderful gifts the to our economy. regulatory reform, repatriation of overseas profits and energy revolution. >> last question, how many hours will trump spend on day one repealing executive orders? >> there will be a stack of illegal and unconstitutional executive actions or just dpek executive actions that hurt workers and they will be gone.
